There are a lot of games which have good benefits in the game genre such as serious game. In this paper we implement an serious game for increasing intensive power by calculating the index of the intensive power based on EEG signal. First we explain the definition of the EEG and the classification of the brainwaves and we depict the method for increasing the intensive power. Then we apply the index of the intensive power to the game production to train the intensive power. At last we make an experiment on the effect of an game which increases the intensive power and the analysis shows the increase of the intensive power.

Given the lack of suitable quality evaluation standards for educational serious games (designed for both entertainment and instruction), we designed a development framework for evaluation standards of educational serious games and proceeded to develop standards in accordance with our proposed procedure. Our standards were designed to evaluate the quality of both technical and non-technical elements of educational serious game software products. We conducted a survey on the need for individual elements of the standard. Participants rated the need for each element on a five-point Likert scale. We then performed a reliability analysis of the survey results. Based on the survey results, we established a final standard for quality evaluation composed of 9 main elements and 31 sub-elements. The results of our research will contribute useful information to users as well as to the developers of educational serious games.

There has been highly increased interests in serious games as a result of the development of game industry. But there are limitations in further development due to negative aspects of game in spite of positive aspects of serious game. Recently, related studies have made efforts to provide positive outcomes of serious games. This study examine to analyze the impact of knowledge acquisition among the various outcome variables in serious games. Through the study, we examine the literature review about knowledge acquisition in various domain on serious games and identify the methodology for assessing outcome variables especially knowledge acquisition.
This study produced the serious game based of Sacheonwang for the smart phone. The popularization of smart phone has expanded the contents market. However the game content made of various Korean traditional cultures is just few. According to this problem, it considered Sacheonwang (Dongbang Jigukcheonwang, Bukbang Damuncheonwang, Namban jungcheonwang, Seobang Gwangmokchoenwang) and tried to develop the serious game application of smart phone based on the Korean traditional culture. It modernized the 4 types of Sacheonwang analyzed the characteristics, and it was created to super deformed characters. It suggested the production and development of game using Sacheonwang character and the Buddhist image. This study looked at the contents of the Buddhist and developed the Buddhist civilization and applied on the game contents to extend Korean traditional culture and interact Korean traditional culture. This study, therefore, will develop the Korean traditional characters and the game content using the research of the Buddhist cultural elements.
For the development of a curriculum of the serious game for the elderly in preparation of senior society, we have surveyed students of both college of humanity and college of engineering for their perception of importance and necessity on the subjects prepared by this team. We analyzed their common points and different points, and developed a new interdeciplinary curriculum for students in both college. The curriculum has been opened in the last semester successfully.
This study was carried out to investigate the effects of contents for the serious game development of the customized diet education in Type II Diabetes. Because the development of the existing serious game focuses on Type I Diabetes, this study was designed to carry out customized education through the interaction between Type II Diabetes and health manager. The period of data collection was from July 11 to December 26 in Y2015, the subjects were selected from a total of 26 people suitable for Type II diabetes who visited the public health center to apply for a diabetic diet education and completed the 8 continued education. After receiving customized diet prototype education, the self-care behaviors and HbA1C of the subjects were statistically significantly increased(p<.05)

Recently it has been increasing interest of serious game which make broadened to wide area in game field. Among these, educatioonal serious game is not only satisfied with the purpose of fun and education but also has been looking ar new ways of teaching with distribution of digital textbook. It can lead to change the way we understand things using the revitalization on the basis of serious game competitions. The purpose of this study was to analysis of educational game and game competition and to develop the efficient management stragies.
Dut to the development of information technology, various serious games have been provided. In recent years, educational serious game that provides education services haven't been widely used. Especially, using serious game without trust is one of the main hinderance in the expansion of educational serious games. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of trustworthiness, which is antecedent variable for trust, on commitment and continuance intention. To achieve the research purpose, this study conduct the survey. The results showed that the trustworthiness significantly influence on commitment and continuance intention.

Motion based serious game is a new style of game and exercise using hands, arms, head and whole body. At that time gamer's reachable movement space is an important game space and interaction happening place. We propose efficient game spatial division and analysis algorithm that gives special information for collision avoidance of game objects. We devide into 9 parts of game space and check the enemy position and upper, down, left and right side movement information of gamer and calculate optimal path for collide avoidance of the enemy. To evaluate the method, we implemented a motion base serious game that consists of a web cam, a player, an enemy, and we obtained some valid results of our method for the collision avoidance. The resole demonstrated that the proposed approach is robust. If movement information is in front of enemy, then the enemy waits and finds the place and runs to avoid collision. This algorithm can be used basic development of level control and effective interaction method for motion based serious game.

During the past 10 years, serious game industry has been growing steadily. But the system which could stably and reliably provide metadata information and quality information related to serious game remained unexploited. Existing systems only support the basic management functions of metadata search centered. Therefore, we have developed an integrated system to manage the quality information of serious game as well as to improve the inconvenient details of the existing systems. And we designed quality evaluation elements and quality information supply-methods, and linked up them to the system. Furthermore, we conducted user's satisfaction assessment survey on the use of the system. The advantage of the system is that the system provide a lot of useful information for general users and developers, and support a tool to manage all information related to serious game by easy and convenient method for managers.
