  • Given a set ${\Omega}$ and the notion of bipolar valued fuzzy sets, the concept of a bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroup in semigroups is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Using bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups, bipolar fuzzy sub-semigroups are constructed. Conversely, bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups are established by using bipolar fuzzy sub-semigroups. A characterizations of a bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroup is provided, and normal bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups are discussed. How the homomorphic images and inverse images of bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups become bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups are considered.

  • In this paper, we develop a numerical method to solving an optimal control problem, which is governed by a parabolic partial differential equations(PDEs). Our approach is to approximate the PDE problem to initial value problem(IVP) in $\mathbb{R}$. Then, the homogeneous part of IVP is solved using semigroup theory. In the next step, the convergence of this approach is verified by properties of one-parameter semigroup theory. In the rest of paper, the original optimal control problem is solved by utilizing the solution of homogeneous part. Finally one numerical example is given.

  • We apply the concept of interval-valued fuzzy sets to theory of semigroups. We give some properties of interval-valued fuzzy ideals and interval-valued fuzzy bi-ideals, and characterize which is left [right] simple, left [right] duo and a semilattice of left [right] simple semigroups or another type of semigroups in terms of interval-valued fuzzy ideals and intervalvalued fuzzy bi-ideals.

  • The notions of implicative semigroup and ordered filter were introduced by M. W. Chan and K. pp. Shum [3]. The first is a generalization of implicative semilattice (see W. C. Nemitz [6] and T. S. Blyth [2]) and has a close relation with the implication in mathematical logic and set theoretic difference (see G. Birkhoff [1] and H. B. Curry [4]). For the general development of implicative semilattice theory the ordered filters play an important role, which is shown by W. C. Nemitz [6].

  • In this paper, we investigate the existence and controllability results for a class of abstract stochastic evolution differential inclusions with nonlocal conditions where the linear part is nondensely defined and satisfies the Hille-Yosida condition. The results are obtained by using integrated semigroup theory and a fixed point theorem for condensing map due to Martelli.

  • Given a C-dynamical system (A, G, $\alpha$) with a locally compact group G, two kinds of C-algebras are made from it, called the full C-crossed product and the reduced C-crossed product. In this paper, we extend the theory of the classical C-crossed product to the C-dynamical system (A, G, $\alpha$) with a left-cancellative semigroup M with unit. We construct a new C-algebra A $\alpha$rM, the reduced crossed product of A by the semigroup M under the action $\alpha$ and investigate some properties of A $\alpha$rM.

  • The theory of inverse semigroups has many features in common with the theory of groups. Many different properties of semigroup become the same condition on ring. In this paper, we want to find the properties of semigroups which is preserved by the properties of ring. Also we find that many different properties become the equivalent conditions.

  • On any semigroup S, there is an equivalence relation ${\phi}^S$, called the locally equivalence relation, given by a ${\phi}^Sb{\Leftrightarrow}aSa=bSb$ for all $a$, $b{\in}S$. In Theorem 4 [4], Tiefenbach has shown that if ${\phi}^S$ is a band congruence, then $G_a$ := $[a]_{{\phi}^S}{\cap}(aSa)$ is a group. We show in this study that $G_a$ := $[a]_{{\phi}^S}{\cap}(aSa)$ is also a group whenever a is any idempotent element of S. Another main result of this study is to investigate the relationships between $[a]_{{\phi}^S}$ and $aSa$ in terms of semigroup theory, where ${\phi}^S$ may not be a band congruence.
