'Old man' or 'old age' was not the parts of academic discipline in the Joseon era but Yeoheon put it in the philosophical 'problematization' of the learning of the Confucianism. He was argued that the old man or old age is not merely biological decline but it has the goal to achieve. The completion of self is the meaning and end of the life throughout the subjective realization and procedure of attaining the goal step by step. Well-aged old man is affirming the getting old and making the positive changing of old life time in his one sake. This essay is showing the Yeoheon's thought of old aging as the self-realizing well-ageing. Next, it is argued that the predicament of old age or old man is not just social welfare or biological aspects but it is serious philosophical problems. If it was just social or biological aspects then it is just a social phenomenon to approach the view of scientists. However, this is not only life and death and flux of time and relativities but also it is problematizing the self-identification subjectivities. Obviously, it is the significant that the old and or old age is fundamentally philosophical subject rather than social or biological materials. In the third chapter, we are dealing with the views of the life and death of Yeoheon. He was insisted that quite interesting opinion that is the all the lives in the universe include himself is 'a wayfarer'. It looks like a time traveler in the universe; we are just one who stays in a body for awhile. When we follow him, we are living in this universe in a time (disposable) but the same theorem is applying to the whole universe as well myriad creatures. Therefore, man has a job to do as an entity of the universe. Yeoheon was called it is the business as a job and we have to do the Dao till you end. The fourth, Yeoheon was suggested that the old man has his work and business. There are two kind of works for an old man, the former is self control as an old age that is call the old man's job and the latter is staying with the Dao that is called the old man's business. According to Yeoheon, man has charged to realize the law of the universe that means we are the moral entity; therefore we are business to complete ourselves. Old age is decline of physical activities rather than vigorous, therefore, we have to follow our body and self-affirmation of declination is the Dao. The final, Yeoheon was advised that the old man better saved in the current of the Dao, because the physical function is declining but the shining Dao is within the mind in the body. It is motivation of the self-dignity of old man and one who recognizes the work to do even in the old body that he will be the significant among all the society not a lonely old man anymore. Old aging is biological twilight but the considerable real size expertise and self-affirmation is the Dao of old age. We are meditating nowadays in Yeoheon's philosophical context on old man or old aging. By him, the old age is man of dignity as long as he realizes in his Dao through the business and self-affirmation.
In order to investigate the fire-induced smoke movement in a three-dimensional room with an open door, numerical and experimental study was performed. The center, wall, and corner fire plumes for various sized fires were studied experimentally in a rectangular pool fire using methanol as a fuel. The numerical results from a self-developed SMEP (Smoke Movement Estimating Program) field model were compared with experimental results obtained in this and from literature. Comparisons of SMEP and experimental results have shown reasonable agreement. As the fire strength became larger for the center fires, the air mass flow rate in the door, average hot layer temperature, flame angle and mean flame height were observed to increase but the doorway-neutral-planeheight and the steady-state time were observed to decrease. Also as the wall effect became larger in room fires, the hot layer temperature, mean flame height, doorway-neutral-planeheight and steady-state time were observed to increase. In the egress point of view considering the smoke filling time and the early spread of plume in the room space, the results of the center fire appeared to be more dangerous as compared with the wall and the corner fire. Thus it is necessary to consider the wall effect as an important factor in designing efficient fire protection systems.
The aim of this study was to compare the American, Chinese, and Japanese consumers' usage behavior of marketing communication towards overseas Korean restaurants. The survey included both on and off-line method and self-administered questionnaires were written in three languages- English, Chinese and Japanese. The sample was collected from 5 hub cities for globalization of Korean food- LA, New York, Tokyo, Beijing, and Shanghai. The most important factor of searching for Korean restaurants-related information was 'the interaction' and the least one was 'the diversity'. The most commonly informed Korean restaurants-related content through the on and off-line media was 'the general information, such as location, telephone number, and operation hour'. Korean restaurants-related content that the respondents' most interested in was 'the information of menu and price'. Results of this study can expectedly be used from a practical point of view by providing empirical data of foreign consumers for effective marketing communication strategies of overseas Korean restaurants.
This research is implemented to shed new light on the essence of Korean sentiments, aesthetic sense and restructure it in modern ways. In particular, applying the current images of traditional Korean village in Jeonju to neckties is focused on the purpose of globalizing the industrialization of Korean traditional sceneries and Korean image products. Adobe Photoshop CS program was used to develop necktie designs containing the images of the traditional Korean village. To make artworks, the Digital Textile Printing System that is an environment-friendly printing method was used. Moreover, Hanji yarn fabric was adopted for them so as to use Korean materials. The total number of developed designs is eight and neckties for men were made by altering images of the traditional Korean village in modern ways. According to the research results, required are more investment and self-development for proper understandings on our traditional cultural images and their development from now on. Moreover, in my view, customers' desires must be met by comprehending public consciousness, trends and environments to meet customer's desires. Furthermore, higher value-added products must be created by using Hanji yarn and images of traditional Korean villages by distributing high quality designs that will satisfy customers' desires and psychology, producing small quantities of products with various designs and colors.
Team activities in engineering curriculum play the major role in nourishing students with problem-solving and team-working capabilities. Educators endeavor to guide students to achieve success experiences through team activities. The sense of success depends on how the students think and feel about team activities. In this study, we investigated the students thoughts on team activity in various aspects. We provided freshmen and juniors with a set of questionnaire and gathered answers, from which we tried to elicit implication that we may apply for coaching their team activities. The analysis result shows that the perception level of freshmen on team activities is less mature in a sense that the freshmen's view is more neutral than that of juniors. Regardless of the grade, they show that they put more emphasis on the team atmosphere than on the team performance. Especially the freshmen are more sensitive to the relationship between the team members than the juniors. The juniors concern more about whether they prepare well enough for the team activities or not. Both of the grades prefer self-regulation in team formation and think the leadership is essential in performing team activities. However, they both hesitate to take a role as a leader. We expect the research result will provide novel ideas for coaching students to obtain valuable experiences on team activities.
We are inundated with visual media; countless such media, ranging from Hollywood blockbusters, American drama, Korean films with enormous budgets to independent films, appeal to our sensibility and engage our empathy and insight. The making of mega-hits that attract millions and a drama of viewer ratings of over forty percent lies in how persuasive the sensibility of the narratives are to an audience from a different milieu and personality. It leads to a question: how can empathy of such a varied group of people be won towards the perspective of directors and authors who come from different nationality and ethnicity to themselves? In exploring the issue, I aim to adopt a psychoanalytical view of human psychology, into consciousness and unconsciousness. Freudian psychoanalysis and Jungian analytic psychology in depth psychology underpin my analysis of visual media. It further enables my examination of unconsciousness applied to spatial design, which is elementary in visual media. In sum, this research aims to improve understanding of spatial design in films, a product of creative human consciousness, by interpreting this as an outcome of the unconscious. This is to apply the concept of collective unconscious in Jung's analytical psychology.
Recently, national leisure activities have increased in proportional to having time and money to spare for living on. Especially, camping activities are positioned as a new leisure type for middle class families, so that it is expected that camping facilities are also rapidly increased. However, there is no institutional measures for safe camping activity. It is urgently requested that camping activities including designing and operating campsite are regulated within the legal system. In this study, the status of camping activities and its legal system are investigated. The strategic policy directions for safe camping activity are suggested in the view of legal system, operational guidelines, and institutional supports; (1) the legal basis for camping activities should be prepared. (2) the supervision of campsite management should be improved based on informational services. (3) the self-operation guidelines for campsite owners should be developed and provided. (4) the criteria of safety assessment for design and operating campsite should be prepared. (5) the safety information of campsite should be published and shared among camping communities.
Background: Assessment of the nursing staff knowledge, attitude and practices about cervical cancer screening in a tertiary care teaching institute of rural India. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional, descriptive, interview-based survey was conducted with a pretested questionnaire among 262 staff nurses of a tertiary care teaching and research institute. Results: In this study 77% respondents knew that Pap smear is used for detection of cervical cancer, but less than half knew that Pap smear can detect even precancerous lesions of cervix. Only 23.4% knew human papilloma virus infection as a risk factor. Only 26.7% of the respondents were judged as having adequate knowledge based on scores allotted for questions evaluating knowledge about cervical cancer and screening. Only 17 (7%) of the staff nurses had themselves been screened by Pap smear, while 85% had never taken a Pap smear of a patient. Adequate knowledge of cervical cancer and screening, higher parity and age >30 years were significantly associated with self screening for cervical cancer. Most nurese held a view that Pap test is a doctor procedure, and nearly 90% of nurses had never referred a patient for Pap testing. Conclusions: The majority of nursing staff in rural India may have inadequate knowledge about cervical cancer screening, and their attitude and practices towards cervical cancer screening could not be termed positive.
The purpose of the study was to examine if individual characteristics and experiences related to smoking behavior identified from the literature were significantly associated with behavior-specific cognitions and affect in the same way as presented in Pender's Revised Health Promotion Model(Pender, 1996). The subjects selected for this study were 400 college students enrolled in more than 10 colleges located in Seoul and Kyunggi-Inchon province. According to the study results, personal factors (i.e., perceived health status, the past history of disease, and symptoms related to smoking) and related behavior (i.e., the degree of alcohol consumption, and exercise) are significantly associated with behavior-specific cognitions and affect (i.e., perceived barriers to smoking cessation, perceived self-efficacy, and perceived benefits of smoking cessation). The canonical correlation between two groups of variables was .59, and it turned out to be statistically significant. Thirty-four percent of variance of the relationship between two group of variables was explained by two canonical variates which turned out to be significant in the study results. The result could be interpreted from the view of psycho-social area as follows: overall, this study includes important variables which explain the association between two groups of variables.

The impact of social networking is varied from good to bad. Online activities have also been categorized into pros and cons of social networking, either as reported as hiding Internet activities among teenagers or killing loneliness among elderly. In terms of relationships, there have been argument over its closeness and quality of an online relationship in Internet settings. Looking at the contradiction in an innovative interaction between classic community communication and social media, there is an unknown scent of the future struggling and challenging both human communication and relationships in the presence of digital culture. This research uses Diffusion of Innovation to study the wide and continuous spread of digital culture in human communication; and, Media Dependency in learning and structuring the cognitive, affective and behavioral effects of social media on each person uses the media in different ways. This research will be using online survey to gain opinions from a social network site as an update of views and reflection of self-awareness to all levels of people. Social media like Facebook (FB) is perceived as a good tool of communication that it is able to bring closeness among the family members. The results show that social media like FB brings positive impact towards family members; it would help to build a better and harmonic society; and, relationships among family members and communication shall be improved and enhanced to the level of a united society.
