The purpose of this study is to develop and applicate textbook relevant to school indoor air quality. To achieve the purpose, concrete study process are as follows. First, the survey research to teachers, supervisors, and students is conducted to grasp cognition of subjects in elementary school and management situation about school indoor air quality. Second, contents relevant to indoor air quality on textbooks in the 7th elementary curriculum and subsidiary textbooks is analysed through reference study. Third, environmental textbook relevant to school indoor air quality for 5th and 6th grade in elementary school is developed, applicated, and inspected its effect on the basis of implications from results of survey and reference study. The results of this study are as follows. First, the result of survey concerning school indoor air quality showed that three groups had negative attitude for its management even though they thought that it affected human's health and study by and large. Student group thought that each of students itself was a little influence to school indoor air pollution though all of three groups answered that' activities of students' was its main source. Efforts of students to improve school indoor air quality was not much, and its main reason was that they didn't know about school indoor air pollution well. Second, result of analysis into textbooks on the 7th elementary curriculum and subsidiary textbooks, contents concerning indoor air on the 7th elementary curriculum textbooks was little or nothing. And it trended to be included to subsidiary textbooks. However, education textbooks about indoor air for elementary students was insufficient still. Third, environmental textbook relevant to school indoor air quality for 5th and 6th grade in elementary school was developed. It was constructed for themes - importance, sources, effects, and management of school indoor air quality. After its application to the 6th grade students in elementary school, it was meaningful in the level of p<.05 that the result of knowledge and awareness in the pre-post test within experiment group. However, all of the results in comparison group didn't represent statistically meaningful difference. In conclusion, environmental textbook developed by necessity of education about school indoor air quality will play a role as useful tool for the 5th, 6th grade students in elementary school to understand relation of quality of health and life and school indoor air quality, to have attitude to make an effort to manage it by develop right awareness about it.

The purpose of this qualitative case study is to understand how the idea of data view and information graphics is used in the social studios middle school textbooks. Data were collected through national curriculum documents and social studies middle textbooks for 7-9 grades. We set up three questions for this studies; what kinds of information graphics are used in the textbooks, how the graphics are organized in the social studies middle school, and how the 7th social studies curriculum is related with the 7th national mathematics curriculum. Through the data analysis, we found that 1) Photographs, illustrations, information maps, etc., are used and frequencies of their usages are in descending order, 2) double lines graphs, circle graphs, and stripe graphs nip often adopted for the comparison of populations, 3) the relation of the two subjects curricula is not so good, especially in the curriculum steps of information mads scatter diagrams, and comparison of populations. Finally we suggest that new web site of data view or information graphics be provided for two curricula, workshop of information graphics are needed for social studies teachers.

초등학교 수학 교과서에는 학습한 내용을 수학 기호와 용어로 나타내기 위하여 '약속'이 제시되어 있다. 본 논문은 제7차와 2007년 개정 교육과정의 초등학교 수학 교과서에 제시된 '약속'의 내용과 서술 방식을 비교 분석하여 교수 학습에 나타날 수 있는 문제점을 논의하고, 이에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine for middle school science textbooks published by the sixth curriculum to analyze STS material, activity, and space devoted to STS. Because most teachers and students are dependent upon textbooks in teaching and learning, analyzing science textbooks will give basic information to ascertain the extent to which the current school science incorporate STS themes. Results indicated that lots of STS topics in the middle school science text books are related to applications of science. They also revealed that about 3% of the narrative space is devoted to STS topics, with a range of 0.7% to 5.2%. The coverage of STS topics increases as grade level increases.

Textbooks are official materials so that these are the most frequently used teaching materials in school. The teacher constructs the lesson based on the contents of the textbook to achieve the learning goal. Thus, textbooks play an important role because the quality of the contents in textbooks affects the cognitive level of students. This study investigates the cognitive domain based on Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives(knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation) of 'Values and Expression' in the mathematics textbook of the first grade of middle school reflecting the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. We also looked at cognitive levels based on Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives. As a result, it was found that understanding was dominant in 'Values and Expression'. Also, although the problem of requiring a higher level of cognition is increasing as the unit finishes, there are still a high percentage of low level of problems.

본 연구는 우리나라 부산시와 중국 저장성의 초등학교 정보교육 교재의 프로그래밍 교육 내용을 조사한다. 프로그래밍 교육의 목표 설정과 교육용 프로그래밍 언어 선택 그리고 프로그래밍 교육의 내용 선정과 전개 방식에 관하여 두 가지의 교재에서 초등학교 정보교육 교재에 필요한 내용을 확인한다. 두 지역의 교재는 초등학교 수준에 맞는 프로그래밍 언어를 선정하고 창의적인 학습 주제를 선정하여 학습자 스스로 문제를 해결해 가는 과정에서 프로그래밍을 학습하도록 한다. 본 연구의 결과로 초등학교 정보교육 교재의 프로그래밍 교육은 학습자 스스로 문제를 해결 과정에서 자연스럽게 프로그래밍을 학습하도록 구성하고 있음을 확인하였다.

This study aims to analyze the multicultural content of the Korean Elementary School Textbook revised in 2015. This study abstracted the framework of multicultural factors for analysis of multicultural contents from the research on "Revision Guidelines by Analysis of Multicultural Factors in Secondary Curriculum and Textbook". The analyzed textbook is the integrated winter textbooks for both the first and second grades revised curriculum in 2015. Several findings were represented as follows: first, the frequency of multicultural content displayed five times in first grade and nineteen times in second grade respectively. Second, the analyzed textbooks did not include contents directly associated with multiculturalism. Activities and experience is important in the acceptance of unfamiliar cultures Thus, multicultural contents' frequency of within textbooks is very crucial. Finally, the revised curriculum focused on activities and experiences about the theme and content in the textbook and was developed around block chassis. For teaching the textbook content, teachers must perfectly understand textbooks through teacher training. The textbooks of reflecting right values on multiculturalismIn. this respect, elementary school curriculum and textbook content should be improved by supplementary revision fitting for the growth of humanity in the multicultural era.

본 연구는 2007년 개정 교육과정에 의해 개발된 중학교 정보 교과서를 비교 분석하고, 이를 토대로 교과서 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 교과서는 체제와 내용의 두 가지 준거를 고려하여 분석되었으며, 수집된 자료의 분석은 내용 분석법(content analysis)을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 교과서 체제는 전체 구성, 영역별 비중, 내용 전개 구조, 평가 유형에서 차이를 보였으며, 교과서 내용은 각 교과서가 다루는 개념, 프로그래밍 언어의 종류에서 차이를 보였다. 교과서 비교 분석의 결과를 토대로 여섯 가지의 정보 교과서 개선 방안을 제시하였으며, 이는 향후 정보 교과서 개발 시에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

한국과 일본은 인접국가로서 역사적으로 관계가 깊고, 문화나 교육적 환경이 비슷하다. 이 연구의 목적은 한국과 일본의 초등학교 5, 6학년 수학 교과서를 비교하는 데 있다. 먼저, 남한과 북한, 한국과 인도, 연변의 수학교과서를 비교한 것과 한국과 일본(분수, 평면도형)의 비교연구의 선행연구를 고찰하여 비교의 기준을 마련하였다. 이 기준을 토대로 한국과 일본의 초등학교 수학 교과서의 단원명과 단원체계를 비교하였다. 이어서 양국 5, 6학년 교과서의 영역별 세부내용을 비교하였다.

This study analyzed the contents of reading textbooks of Chinese-Korean $1^{st}$, $4^{th}$, and $7^{th}$ graders in Yanji, China with reference to ecological systems and values. Results showed that the literature genre of Korean textbooks in China was predominantly novels/stories(38.5%) rather than essays(13.7%), poems/verses/rhymes(16.2%) or others(31.6%). Characters were classified into 9 categories and analyzed by Bronfenbrenner's ecological paradigm. It was found that Chinese-Korean textbooks included more characters belonging to exo- or macro-systems including school, community, and government while Korean textbooks emphasized the self or the family, both belonging to the micro-system. Values in Chinese-Korean textbooks emphasized community and government. Korean textbooks emphasized individual life. Differences were more pronounced in textbooks of the upper grades.
