프레스 보유 사업장에서 재해 발생 사업장과 무재해 사업장의 안전관리 시스템 비교 (A Comparison of Safety Management System between Accident-occurred Companies and Accident-free Companies in which Press Machine are Used)

  • Notorious press machine bothers employers by causing so many industrial accidents which are mostly of caught-in or between type. In 2008, press machines caused 1665 cases of such type of accidents, which reached about 11% of all those. Even though various approaches has been adopted to prevent those press machine accidents, up to now, no one was found to be satisfactory. In this study, two kinds of companies, accident-occurred and accident-free by press machine, were surveyed to find out positive and negative factors for accidents prevention. 400 companies which experienced accidents in 2008 and 200 companies which did not experience accident at all during the same period were selected for this survey. Most of these companies are small companies that employ less than 50 employees. Even though small companies are exempted from legal obligations to have a safety management system for accident prevention, we surveyed about safety management systems of those companies because of its crucial importance for accident prevention including whether they appointed safety managers and various supervisors. Awareness and efforts for safety of employers and employees were also measured. Results were analysed by the method of cross tabulation analysis. Main findings of this study are as follows. Most accident-occurred companies did not appoint any safety manager or supervisor. While it is recommended that the workplace of high accident rate have a safety manager. In addition, as less employers' effort for safety was made in accident-occurred companies in order to prevent accidents during press processing, the author proposes an amendment to the relevant law. Finally, the most referred reason for the negligence of hazard is the cumbersomeness in installing safeguards.

  • Avoiding the industrial accidents is one of the goals in manufacturing industries from the top manager to the foremen. Therefore all the companies try to prevent occupational accidents using system safety programs in order to increase the productivity. Korean industries have been tended to depend upon historical information to control risks. The other hand, foreign industries have identified risk factors using system safety techniques to predict future risks. This study presents the method to apply the foreign industries risk control technique to the Korean industries.

A LOW-COST PROTOCOL IN SENSOR NETWORK UBIQUITOUS ENVIRONMENT

  • In a ubiquitous environment made up of multiple sensors, most sensors participate in communications with limited battery, and the sensor node isn't able to participate in communications when all the battery is used up. When an existing authentication method is used for the sensor node which has to participate in a long term communication with limited battery, it creates a problem by making the length of network maintenance or sensor node's operation time relatively shorte. Therefore, a network structure where RM (Register Manager) node and AM (Authentication Manager) node are imported to solve the energy consumption problem during a communication process is presented in this thesis. This offers a low power protocol based on safety through a mutual authentication during communications. Through registration and authentication manager nodes, each sensor nodes are ensured of safety and the algorithm of key's generation, encryption/descramble and authentication is processed with faster operation speed. So the amount of electricity used up during the communications between sensor nodes has been evaluated. In case of the amount of electrical usage, an average of $34.783\%$ for the same subnet and 36.855 for communications with two different subnets, are reduced. The proposed method is a protocol which maintains the limited battery for a long time to increase the effectiveness of energy usage in sensor nodes and can also increase the participation rate of communication by sensor nodes.

  • Recently the demand for civil bodyguards and security guards shows rapid growth by the social development and improve the quality of life. However the supply and training system have some limitations in spite of the high demand guard-secretary. The main role of secretaries has been to accompany superiors in order to maintain their dignity or trait. But the secretaries are required to play additional roles of safety managers such as a security manager, a protocol manager, an intelligence manager and a protective driver in order to overcome the domestic and the international safety environment and to elevate the quality of service as a competitive work. So, the purpose of this article is to analyse current situation of civil body and security guard training industry and to seek an educational model. For it, the following questions will be examined. First, Do the professional training organizations meet social demand for the body and security guards? Second, What kind of training has to be provide for the body and security guards? and what the qualifications of the trainers? Then, what are the differences in training courses between private organizations and universities? Is there differences in the job placement among the trainers of private organizations and universities? etc.. In summary to meet the social demand common curriculum for the body and security guard will be drawn from the analyses of diverse training organizations with different training courses in contents, training periods, educational value, and social aim.

If education is regarded as an industry, it can be classified as a representative service industry. Because it is formed as a perfect competition between colleges. And then in this paper, This will focus on the mechanical production Manager duties of industrial engineering department related NCS. This study also conducted empirical studies to analyze factors affecting the curriculum using the KANO analysis.

자가용 전기설비 안전관리자의 PL인식 조사 및 사고사례 연구 (The Study on Facility Accident Case and PL Recognition of the Safety Manager in Electric Installation for Private Use)

  • 본 논문에서는 자가용 전기설비에서 전기안전관리자의 PL인식과 전기설비의 사고발생에 관한 것을 조사하였다. 설문대상은 자가용 수용가 450호를 선정하였으며, 이중 154호가 설문에 응신하여 35.8[%]를 차지하였다 전기안전관리자의 58[%]는 PL에 관해 잘 알고 있었으며, 42[%]는 인식하고 있지 않았다. 이들 중 82.4[%]는 전기설비에 PL법이 적용되어야 된다고 하였으며, 5.8[%]만이 PL법의 적용이 필요 없다고 대답하였다. PL적용의 이유로는 전기설비와 제품의 안정성을 위한 것이 64[%], 동일사고의 방지가 19[%]를 차지하였다. 또한 변압기 사고가 가장 많은 부분을 차지하였으며, 케이블 사고가 그 뒤를 따랐다. 설문조사 결과로부터, 전기안전관리자들은 PL내용에 많은 관심이 있었으며, 그들은 전기사고에 관한 PL적용의 필요성을 기대하고 있었다.

  • 최근 4차 산업 시대의 흐름에 따라 건설공사에서는 최첨단 기술의 적용으로 나날이 발전하고 있는데 반해, 건설현장에서는 지속적인 안전사고가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구의 주목적은 안전관리자 계획단계에서 수행되는 업무들의 중요도와 예방효과를 전문가 의견을 통한 IPA 분석을 활용하여 상관관계를 도출하고 안전관리에 기여할 수 있는 주요 안전 계획 업무와 개선이 필요한 업무를 파악함으로써, 궁극적으로 건설안전재해사고 발생을 줄이는 데 있다.

ETA를 통한 연구실험실 콘센트회로의 전기재해 분석 (Analysis of Electrical Accident for Outlet Circuit of Laboratory on ETA)

  • This study is intended to identify issues on the basis of investigating the actual state of laboratory environment and outlet circuit, and derive end states by expressing sequences from the initiating event of disaster to accident in leakage current, poor contact and overload through ETA(event tree analysis). To this end, this study investigated the actual state of electric equipment of laboratory at universities in all parts of country. And it is shown that most of them are failure in electric work and user negligence in the investigation of actual state. It is found that there is earth fault and defect in wire diameter in the failure of electric work and the problem of partial disconnection due to wire bundling and poor contact in user negligence. Outlet-related component, failure rate and initiating events are composed of a total of 41 initiating events, i.e., 30 internal initiating events and 11 external initiating events. And end states are composed of a total of 15 parts, i.e., 3 electric power parts and 12 safety parts. Earthing class 3 is the most important safety device against leakage current (initiating event). And in case of poor contact, it is necessary for manager to check thoroughly because there is no safety device. In case of overload/overcurrent, when high-capacity equipment is connected, a molded case circuit breaker, safety device, worked. However, in most cases, it is verified that this doesn't work. This study can be utilized as electric equipment safety guide for laboratory safety manager and managers.
