  • If we observe the formation of communities of people and participation methods within them, we can see that those communities are developing more efficiently due to the penetration of smart phones and the growth of SNS. This trend also has an impact on information sharing activity between people and enables more active information sharing than ever before. But information sharing on SNS does not just involve the SNS users sharing information with each other. Important factors affecting the information sharing activities include the type of relationship between the users and the attitude of the information sharing individuals. Accordingly, this study selected perceived social support, perceived social influence, and perceived network structure as the factors that affect the continuous intention of people to use SNS, and performed a higher order factor analysis on those factors. Between continuous intention to use SNS and intention to share information, we selected relationship quality and information sharing behavior and executed a path analysis between the factors. We carried out an empirical analysis by utilizing SPSS 18.0 and SmartPLS 2.0 as analysis tools. Using these tools, we investigated the factors influencing continuous intention to use SNS, and tested the significance between the role and path of relationship quality and information sharing behavior between continuous intention to use SNS and intention to share information.

  • Due to recent growth in IT industry along with the expansion of smartphone, we came to connect to the Internet wherever and whenever we are. However, this causes negative side effects, though. One of them is a rapid increase of the financial crimes such as the Phishing and the SMishing. There have been many on-going researches about crimes such as Phishing and SMishing to protect users. However, the study about sharing knowledge on SNS to prevent such a crime can be hardly found. Based on social identity theory, we conduct the research about factors on SNS users' intention to share the information security knowledge on SNS. As a result, we found that knowledge provision self-efficacy has a significant impact on self-expression. In addition, it also found out self-expression, awareness about information security and the sense of belonging have a significant impact respectively on the intention to share the information security knowledge on SNS. On the other hand, the altruism didn't have a significant impact to the intention to share information security knowledge on SNS. With this research as a starting point, it seems necessary to expand its range to all types of online community in the future for the generalization of the hypotheses.

  • Most Social Network Service (SNS) provide online chat, video and file sharing, blogging and others. Because of this advantage, people depend on SNS to communicate with others. However, recently SNS encourage people to reveal too much information broadly so SNS users are concerned about privacy invasion and data spill. They also feel fatigue in process of touching people they don't know while using SNSs. That is the reason why they attempt to switch from opened SNS to Closed SNS. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to empirically investigate and analyze the effect of the factors on the SNS users' switching behavior when using SNS. To accomplish this purpose, this research adopted "Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM)" framework. The PPM is proposed by population geologist, who used it to explain the incentives of demographic migration. Following PPM model, this research empirically examines the three categories of antecedents for SNS switching intention toward closed SNS: push (i.e., weak connection, privacy concern, relative complexity), pull (i.e., enjoyment, belongingness, peer influence), mooring (i.e., SNS fatigue, user resistance) factors. The survey was conducted for 285 users on SNS communities in Korea. The results of this study are as follows; First, wear connection and privacy concern are significantly related to SNS switching intention. Second, enjoyment and belongingness are significantly related to SNS switching intention. Finally, the results show that SNS fatigue has a moderating effect on the links between push factors and SNS switching Intention. Also, user resistance has a moderating effect on the links between pull factors and SNS switching Intention. These findings contribute to the SNS literature both theoretically and practically.

  • Due to the coronavirus pandemic, interest in outdoor leisure activities is growing. Among outdoor leisure activities, marine sports can be seen as having good conditions to enjoy in Korea. In the case of yachting among marine sports, a number of yacht experience programs have recently been operated centered on Gwanganli and Suyeong Bay in Busan. This yacht experience is an attractive tourism product that can be enjoyed casually, and can bring stress relief to many users. This study tried to verify the effect of the attractiveness of the yacht experience on the stress recovery based on the tourists' experiences using the yacht experience tour. In addition, we tried to verify the intention of revisiting the yacht experience or sharing it with others through SNS through this stress recovery. In addition, as a moderator variable, the difference between the MZ generation and other generations, which use SNS more actively than other generations, was presented and its significance was verified. The survey of this study was conducted online for tourists who experienced yacht experience in Busan. As a result of the analysis, among the attractive factors of the yacht experience, the program, landscape, facilities and service was found to have a significant influence on the users' stress recovery, and satisfaction through stress recovery had a significant effect on the intention to revisit and to share the SNS. In the verification of the moderating effect according to age, a generational difference in revisit intention between the MZ generation and other generations was confirmed. Through this study, it was suggested that various programs of yacht experience should be developed to induce users to revisit, and various marketing using SNS should be carried out.

  • The evolution of IT facilitated the communication and knowledge sharing between the social network service (SNS) users. When the more information about SNS users had been posted in SNS site, SNS users had sometimes exposed in the risk of privacy invasion. To remedy this problem, we had introduced the information control mechanisms from the prior studies in data management to the SNS area and empirically validated the effect of these mechanisms in this research. Three information control mechanisms had been elected as access control, reference control and diffusion control. We had conducted a survey to the Facebook users which is the most famous SNS site. 459 data had been gathered and analyzed by PLS algorism. As the results, reference control and diffusion control has significantly increased the trust on SNS providers and decrease the privacy concern. This change could significantly affect on the satisfaction with the SNS site and knowledge sharing intention of SNS users. This study could introduce the new perspective about privacy protection issues in SNS area. Also, the information control mechanisms suggested in this study could contribute to make more robust privacy protection mechanisms in SNS site in practice.
