In this paper, we consider groups of permutations S on a set A acting on subsets X of A. In particular, we show that if $X_2{\subseteq}X_1{\subseteq}A$ and Y is an S-normal extension of $X_2 in X_1$, then the Galois group $G_{S}(X_1/Y){\;}of{\;}X_1{\;}over{\;}X_2$ relative to S is an S-closed subgroup of $G_{S}(X_1/X_2)$ in the setting of a Galois theory (correspondence) for this situation.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of kinesio taping of thigh muscle on isokinetic muscular function during closed kinetic chain exercise of lower extremity. Methods : Twenty healthy males were participated in this study. The isokinetic muscular function of closed kinetic chain were measured for peak torque, peak torque % body weight, average power, max rep tot work before and after application of kinesio taping on thigh muscles. Results : At $60^{\circ}/s$ peak force and peak force % body weight were significant increased in both extension(p<0.01) and flexion(p<0.001) after applying kinesio taping. At $180^{\circ}/s$ average power was significant increased in both extension and flexion after applying taping(p<0.001). At $240^{\circ}/s$ max rep tot work was significant increased in both extension(p<0.001) and flexion(p<0.05). Conclusion : This study suggests that application of kinesio taping on thigh muscle was more effective to improve isokinetic muscular function in closed kinetic chain exercise of lower extremity.

The function, which represents the closed curve, is found from the sampling data by S-System in this study. Two methods are proposed. One is the extension of S-System. The data x and y are regarded as input data, and the data z=0 as output data. To avoid the trap into the invalid function, the judgment points (x$\_$j/, y/sug j/) are introduced. They are arranged in the inside and the outside of the closed curve. By introducing this concept, the functions representing closed curve are found by S-System. This method is simple because of a little extension of S-System. It is, however, difficult for the method to find the complex function like a hand-written curve. Then another method is also proposed. It uses the system incorporating the argument function. The closed curve can be expressed by the argument function. The relatively complex function, which represents the closed curve like a hand-written curve, is found by utilizing argument function.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of mandible position on proprioception and range of motion (ROM) during neck stabilization exercise using a sling in healthy adults. Methods: The subjects were randomly assigned to either a sling exercise and mandible open group (n=10) or a sling exercise and mandible closed group (n=12). The sling exercise-mandible open group and sling exercise-mandible closed group took part in an exercise program for 30min, three times per week for 4 weeks. After each training session, head repositioning accuracy (HRA) and the ROM of the cervical spine were measured. Wilcoxon's test was conducted to verify changes within each group, and the Mann-Whitney U test was performed to examine between-group differences. Results: The HRA of the cervical spine was significantly increased during left rotation and extension in the sling exercise-mandible open group. In addition, there were significant differences in both rotations and extension in the two groups. The ROM of the cervical spine increased significantly during both rotations in the sling exercise-mandible closed group. In addition, there was a significant difference in right rotation and extension in both groups. Conclusion: Cervical stabilization exercise using a sling, with the mandible closed increased proprioception and the ROM of the cervical spine.

In this paper, we give a characterization of collectionwise normality using continuous functions. More precisely, we give a new and short proof of the Dowker's theorem using selection theory that a $T_1$ space X is collectionwise normal if every continuous mapping of every closed subset F of X into a Banach space can be continuously extended over X. This is also a generalization of Tietze's extension theorem.

Multiparty conference service based on SIP supported by VoIP network is gradually increased in use and the continuous development and standardization works on SIP are in the process of advancing. But SIP used in currently does not support identity discovery and distribution of each participant for multipath conference. In this paper, a SIP extension method for guaranteeing security from the multiparty conference based on SIP is proposed. We design a new SIP header and method for discovering and distributing a participant's identity in closed multiparty conference when the call initiation is established. And it can ensure that each participant is notified before a new participant joins.

The usual arithmetic operations on real numbers can be extended to arithmetical operations on fuzzy intervals by means of Zadeh's extension principle based on a t-norm T. A t-norm is called consistent with respect to a class of fuzzy intervals for some arithmetic operation if this arithmetic operation is closed for this class. It is important to know which t-norms are consistent with a particular type of fuzzy intervals. Recently Dombi and Gyorbiro proved that addition is closed if the Dombi t-norm is used with two bell-shaped fuzzy intervals. A result proved by Mesiar on a strict t-norm based shape preserving additions of LR-fuzzy intervals with unbounded support is recalled. As applications, we define a broader class of bell-shaped fuzzy intervals. Then we study t-norms which are consistent with these particular types of fuzzy intervals. Dombi and Gyorbiro's results are special cases of the results described in this paper.

Shuster's algorithm for spin-axis determination is extended to include sensor bias and mounting angle as its solve-for parameters. The relation between direct and derived measurements bias is obtained by linearizing their kinematic equations. A one-step least-square estimation technique referred to as the 'closed form' solution is used, and the solution provides a more refined and decent initial guess for the subsequent filtering process contained within the differential correction module. The modified algorithm is applied for attitude determination of a GEO communication satellite in transfer orbit, and its results are presented.

This study was carried out to determine the optimum EC supply by accumulation amount of solar radiation in closed system. EC concentration of drainage was higher than that of supply. The higher EC concentration of supply was, the lower pH of drainage was. It was no difference in the quality of cut rose 'Nobles' (Rosa hybrida), stem length, stem diameter, leaf number, petal length, and petal diameter by EC treatment by season. The yield was higher about $6\%$ in treatment of EC $1.3dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ in April and May, about $10\%$ in treatment of EC $10dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ in June, July and August, and about $10\%$ in treatment of EC 1.0 or $1.3dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ in September and October than the others. In general, the yield of the cut rose was higher in treatment of (B) EC 1.3 mS/cm in spring, EC $1.0dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ in summer, EC $1.3dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ in autumn, and EC$1.6dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ in winter.

Let K be a real function field over a real closed field F. Then there exists an F-place .phi.:K.rarw.F.cup.{.inf.}. This is Lang's Existence of Rational Place Theorem (6). There is an equivalent version of Lang's Theorem in (4). That is, if K is a function field over a field F, then, for any ordering P$_{0}$ on F which extends to K, there exists an F-place .phi.: K.rarw.F'.cup.{.inf.} where F' is a real closure of (F, P$_{0}$). In [2], Knebusch pointed out the converse of the version of Lang's Theorem is also true. By a valuation theoretic approach to Lang's Theorem, we have found out the following generalization of Lang and Knebusch's Theorem. Let K be an arbitrary extension field of a field F. then an ordering P$_{0}$ on F can be extended to an ordering P on K if there exists an F-place of K into some real closed field R containing F. Of course R$^{2}$.cap.F=P$_{0}$. The restriction K being a function field of F is vanished, though the codomain of the F-place is slightly varied. Therefore our theorem is a generalization of Lang and Knebusch's theorem.
