간호학생의 자기표출과 역할갈등의 관계연구 (The Relationship Between Self-disclosure and Role Conflict in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-disclosure and role conflict in nursing students. Method: The subjects were 386 nursing students who were in college and university. The data were collected from July 26 to September 18, 2004 by the structured questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and ANOVA & t-test with SAS package were used. Results: 1. The mean of self-disclosure perceived by nursing students was 3.57(${\pm}$.53), and the mean of role conflict perceived by nursing students was 3.62(${\pm}$.49). If the role conflict was divided into subcategory, deficiency of ability and skill was 3.77(${\pm}$.60), role ambiguity was 3.66(${\pm}$.54), and internal conflict was 3.49(${\pm}$.62). 2. 'Role conflict', 'deficiency of ability and skill', 'role ambiguity' and 'internal conflict' were positively related to 'self-disclosure'. 3. 'Self-disclosure' showed a significant difference according to interpersonal relations, meaning on nursing job and 'role conflict' showed a significant difference according to school career, present grade. Conclusion: this study suggested that there are need to implement self-disclosure training program for nursing student to decrease role conflict.

  • This paper reviewed the relationship between job demands and safety motivation, and the moderating effect of A-type trait in Korean Air Force. Based on the responses from 722 responses, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) role overload effects positively and role ambiguity effects negatively on intrinsic safety motivation. 2) role conflict effects negatively on extrinsic safety motivation. 3) role ambiguity effects negatively on intrinsic safety motivation in B-type than in A-type trait.

  • This paper reviewed the relationship between job demands/resources and safety compliance, and the mediating effect of job burnout. Based on the responses from 247 employees, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) two demands factors(role ambiguity and role overload) effect positively on safety compliance. 2) job resources factors(autonomy and social support) effect negatively on safety compliance. 3) job burnout effects negatively on safety compliance. 4) job burnout mediates between 4 job demands/resources(role ambiguity and role overload, autonomy, social support) and safety compliance.

보험심사간호사의 직무만족과 직장애착에 관한 연구 (Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Medical Insurance Review Nurses)

  • This study purports to Investigate the determinant of job satisfaction and the organizational commitment of medical insurance review nurses working at Korean hospitals. The independent variables contain three groups of determinants: organizational characteristics variables(job autonomy, work unit control, role variety, role ambiguity, role conflict, workload, resource inadequacy, coworker support, supervisor support, distributive justice, promotional chances, job security, and job hazard), environmental variables(job opportunity, spouse support, and parent support), and psychological variables (met expectation, work involvement, positive affectivity, and negative affectivity). The sample used in this study consisted of 445 medical insurance review nurses from 89 hospitals nationwide. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows : 1) the following variables, listed in order of size, have significant effects on job satisfaction : role ambiguity(-), distributive justice(+), work involvement(+), role variety(+), met expectation(+), negative affectivity(-), job autonomy(+), and positive affectivity(+). 2) the following variables, listed in order of size, have significant effects on organizational commitment: met expectation(+), work involvement(.+), distributive justice(+), job security(+), role variety(+), positive affectivity(+), negative affectivity(-), resource inadequacy(+), and tenure(-). 3) the variance of job satisfaction and organizational commitment explained by the variables used in the study are 30.0% and 39.1% respectively. 4) In comparison to the results of other studies on the determinants of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of clinical nursing staff working at hospitals, the results of this study indicate that three variables of distributive justice, work involvement, and role variety are especially important for improving the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of medical insurance review nurses.

직무스트레스가 소진 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Stress on Burnout and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 카지노기업 종사원의 직무스트레스가 소진 및 조직몰입에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 실시하였다. 먼저 직무스트레스가 소진에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 직무스트레스 요인 중 이질성만이 정서적 탈진에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 역할모호성과 역할갈등은 정서적 탈진에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 역할모호성은 개인적 성취감 결여에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 반면 역할갈등과 이질성은 개인적 성취감 결여에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 역할모호성은 비인간화에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 반면 역할갈등과 이질성은 비인간화에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 직무스트레스가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 역할모호성은 정서적 몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 반면, 역할갈등과 이질성은 정서적 몰입에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 한편 유지적 몰입에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 카지노기업의 경쟁력과 인적자원관리의 효율성을 제고하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Large corporations have the work and roles of employees clearly defined in accordance with their established internal structure whereas small and mid-sized firms may lack an official job specification or a written job description, causing ambiguity in the role of employees. In IT service companies, especially, there is a relatively large number of tasks requiring one person to play multiple roles and they are often highly dependent on few key players. In this reality where about 80% of the job seekers end up in SMEs, it is therefore necessary to look into how the turnover factors such as job strain and occupational burnout caused by the role ambiguity from extra work affect the turnover intentions of small and medium sized IT service firm employees. The outcome of this study is as follows. First, the relationship between job strain and turnover intention has been examined to find that a weak inverted U shaped relationship exists between role overload, which is a subset of job strain, and turnover intention. Second, the hypothesis based on the competing values framework has been tested that the fitness with organizational leadership and culture would moderate the relationship between job strain and turnover intention and it has been confirmed that the degree of relationship between role conflict and role ambiguity, the subsets of job strain, and turnover intention has changed. In conclusion, in order to discourage turnover intention, it is necessary to increase the fitness with the organization and leadership or generate a sufficient level of strain in case of an organization with low fitness.

  • The purpose of this study is to help understanding of patterns and to play a guideline's role in the development of designs and the prediction of trends for present and future fashion designers and textile designers. The methods of this study are the study of academic literatures as well as practical study through the analysis about actual works. The results of study are like followings. An inquiry of Pattern history in 20c is divided into six periods by the classification of styles and the styles of fashion culture according to other artistic formative will. Main trends of Pattern's image in each period and characteristics in each dimensions of Pattern image positioning are like followings. Art Nouveau style period from 1900 to 1910 is , Art Deco style period from 1910 to 1920 is , Elegance style period of 1930s is , and New Romantic style period from 1945 to mid 1950s and Pop style period from late 1950s to mid 1970s does not show main Pattern image but they are shown in four Pattern image of , , , . Compromising style period from late 1980s to 1990s shows all of four Pattern image, at the same time shows intensive main Pattern's image, .

의료기관 종사자의 역할 스트레스가 경력몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Role Stress on Career Commitment and Turnover Intention of Hospital Workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 부산지역 중소병원 종사자를 대상으로 역할 스트레스(역할갈등, 역할모호성, 역할과부하)가 경력몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하는 것이다. 연구대상은 부산지역 종합 및 일반병원에 종사하는 간호직, 행정직 등 418명이며 실증분석을 위해 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 성별, 연령, 학력, 결혼상태, 근무연수에 따라 일부 연구변수에 유의한 차이를 확인하였다. 직종에 따라서는 역할갈등, 역할모호성, 역할과부하, 경력몰입, 이직의도의 모든 변수에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 역할스트레스는 경력몰입에 유의한 부(-)의 영향, 이직의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 역할스트레스 중 역할과부하가 경력몰입과 이직의도에 가장 상대적으로 강한 영향력을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 간호직을 포함한 전 직종의 근무자를 포함하여 역할 스트레스가 가지는 영향력을 분석한 점과 경력몰입, 이직의도의 설명변수로서 역할 스트레스의 의미를 실증적으로 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

호손의 독자 조종: '머리말'을 중심으로 (Hawthorne's control of the reader represented in his prefaces)

  • Nathaniel Hawthorne seems to realize the reader's role in bringing his creation of fiction to completion. Almost all of Hawthorne's prefaces may be considered in terms of their contribution to the writer's narrative strategy. When he refers to the audience in the prefatory essay, "The Custom-House" and other prefaces to his major works as "the Reader," Hawthorne is establishing a mutual complicity that will continue throughout the following narratives. According to this rhetorical alliance, the writer's obligation is to get the story into the reader's imagination by any means possible, while the reader's share is to believe the story as much as possible while it is being told. The ultimate issue is thus not whether any event actually happened as Hawthorne reports it but whether readers are willing to grant the event credence while they are reading. Hawthorne's relationship with his audience is not congenial. In his prefaces, Hawthorne sometimes reveals a narrator who evades a fixed identity. The introduction of an unreliable narrator helps illuminate the unresolved, elusive ambiguity in Hawthorne's stories. Hawthorne seeks to make his narrative ambiguous frequently utilizing the very same indeterminacy so often cherished by poststructuralists. No critical term may be more firmly associated with the works of Hawthorne than ambiguity. Looking for new readers with more fresh eyes, Hawthorne's narratives always remain open to reinterpretation. After all, Hawthorne's prefaces (sometimes including unreliable narrators) help him become one of the most frustrating and fascinating novelists.

패션 잡지 광고에서 보여지는 성 혼돈 경향에 관한 연구 (The Study of Ambiguous Sex Identity Appearing in Fashion Advertisements)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate fashion advertisements portraying ambiguous sex phenomena, including homosexuality codes and to analyze the meaning of these advertisements in order to develop effective fashion advertisements strategies. The method of this study was to observe the readings about ambiguous sex theory, including homosexuality, and analyze fashion advertisements that express this through the Internet and fashion journals. The ambiguous sex expression seen in fashion advertisements meet various consumers' needs which is what the latest advertisement market requires, and offer competitive brand image by fresh appeal. In the background, there are various complex factors like the change of contemporary spirit, and designers' tastes and values about homosexuality. The kinds of ambiguous sex expression techniques portrayed in fashion advertisements can be divided as the ambiguity of physical codes and the ambiguity of sex role identity. These advertisements do play a role as a public campaign for a change in society from the sociocultural point of view. And, from the economical viewpoint, they approach the consumer as a fresh marketing strategy. From the esthetic viewpoint, they express new esthetic sense named “edge” And seen from the designers' viewpoints, they express designers' private sexual identities.
