국내·외 구급차 규정, 디자인 및 개선에 관한 조사연구 (An Investigation of the Regulation, Design and Improvement of Domestic and International Ambulances)

  • This research suggests that the regulation, design and improvement of domestic and international ambulances so that make the basis for the future ambulance in Korea. It is true that the diversification of current disasters, increasing elderly population, the increase in emergency patients, due to the lack of effective transfer system, emergency vehicle's performance problem, and the aging of ambulances cause have difficulty in providing effective emergency services in domestic country. Therefore, in order to improve the effectiveness of ambulance, the history of ambulance, other relevant provisions include international, design and directions to be improved were investigated, and also research directions of the ambulance are suggested in domestic country. In this research, suggests the following conclusions to improve domestic ambulance 1. Through standardization of the spacing and location of an ambulance is needed to maximize the treatment room. 2. The interior of the ambulance design for hygiene and infection control should be included. 3. Stretcher and equipment are designed to be fitted to each other should be standardized. 4. Especially during transfer maintain the road, noise, vibration, and shock-absorbing function to emphasize the importance. 5. The improvement of ergonomic design is necessary for the possibility of applying to many people.

이동 로봇의 서스펜션 댐핑계수 변화에 따른 장애물이 있는 경사로 주행에 관한 연구 (Study on Driving a Bumped Slope of Mobile Robot According to Changing the Damping Coefficient of Suspensions)

  • Most of outdoor mobile robots have a suspension on each wheel in order to relieve the shock by ground obstacles and to improve the driving stability. Typically, in the actual operations, the suspensions have been used under a given set of conditions as all the damping and spring coefficients of the suspensions are fixed. However, it is necessary to readjust the coefficients of the suspensions according to surface conditions that may cause the unstable shaking of a robot body at high speed driving. Therefore, this paper is focused on the mobility analysis of an outdoor robot when the coefficients of suspensions (in particular, damping coefficients) are changed while driving on an uneven road surface. In this paper, a semi-active suspension with twelve damping coefficient levels was used and a small sized vehicle with the suspensions was employed to analyze the mobility dependent on a change of the damping coefficient. And the mobility was evaluated through driving experiments on a bumped slope.

횡단보도의 교통사고 범위 설정에 관한 연구 (The Setting in the Range of Traffic Accident on the Crosswalk)

  • Under the current law or system, the range of traffic accident on the crosswalk does not reflect the characteristics of traffic accident and the pedestrian's walking pattern. Thus, this study conducted a video recording survey on the 250 spots which are high to traffic accident rate of pedestrian-vehicle to reset the range of traffic accident on or near the crosswalk considering the characteristics of traffic accident and the pedestrian's walking pattern. Based on the collected data through a video recording survey, this study analyzed the pattern of pedestrians and extracted the variables influenced in the pedestrian's walking pattern. After conducting the regression analysis, this study made the model of measuring the range of traffic accident on the crosswalk. Through all processes these, this study reset the range of traffic accident on the crosswalk which could minimize the disadvantages of pedestrian when they have an accident on the crosswalk and ensure the right of way of pedestrian.

저시정 도로상 차량이동영역의 효과적인 추출을 위한 임계치 자동결정 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Automatic Threshold Value Detection Method for Effective Extraction of Vehicle Movement Areas on Road with Poor Visibility Condition)

  • 도로상의 안개로 인한 시정감소는 교통사고를 유발하는 주된 원인이므로 전방의 운전자에게 도로의 시정거리를 미리 알려주어 안전운행을 유도하기 위한 안개경고시스템은 도로의 안전관리를 위해 매우 중요한 요소이다. 우리는 CCTV 카메라 영상에서 도로상에 통행중인 차량의 이동영역이 시정에 따라 달라진다는 점에 착안하여 이동영역을 추출하고 이를 이용하여 가시거리를 계산하는 시정 측정 장치를 개발하고 있으며, 주간, 야간 등 날씨의 변화에 덜 민감하면서도 효과적이고 정확한 이동영역의 추출은 시정측정을 위해 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이동영역의 추출을 위해 영상대비를 이용하여 자동으로 임계치를 결정하는 방법을 제안하며, 결정된 임계치를 적용시킴으로써 프레임간의 차영상으로 부터 잡음이 효과적으로 제거될 수 있음을 보인다. 또한, 차영상을 일정시간 누적시키는 방법을 통해 효과적으로 차량의 이동영역이 추출 되는 것을 보이기 위해 실제 고속도로에서 촬영된 CCTV 영상을 이용하여 실험한 결과를 제시한다.

Development of Roadside Facility Management System with Video GIS Technology

  • In this paper, we suggest a new spatial information system called video GIS where video is used for spatial data construction and is integrated with map. We develop a prototype system of video GIS and apply it to roadside facility management. The main functions supported by the suggested system are data collection, coordinate calculation and conversion, data construction, analysis, searching, and browsing. The stereo images and corresponding position data are collected by a vehicle named 4S-Van that has GPS, IMU, and cameras. The 3-D coordinates of the objects in the images, such as road sign, signal lamp, and building, can be calculated and constructed from the collected data. The spatial objects are displayed on both image and map, and can be searched and browsed, which enables visual and realistic browsing and management of spatial objects. Compared to conventional field survey used in roadside facility management, the method enables faster, easier, and more efficient construction of spatial data. The suggested video GIS can be applied not only to roadside facility management but also to many similar projects of central or local governments that are related to GIS.

이륜자동차 안전검사제도 도입 시 기대효과 분석 (An Analysis for Expected Effect of the Introduction of Motorcycle Safety Inspection)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to analyze expected effect of a accident decrease when motorcycle safety inspection is introduced. METHODS : Based on the literature review of effect of 4-wheel vehicle inspection, probability of occurring accidents among defective motorcycles are calculated by using the number of estimated defective motorcycles and accidents resulting from defects of motorcycles. Then, the number of decreased accidents which is resulting from eliminating defects of motorcycles by safety inspection is estimated by using probability of occurring accidents among defective motorcycles. RESULTS : If the ratio of eliminating defects of motorcycles is 95% after motorcycle safety inspection, the effects of accident decrease of motorcycle safety inspection are analyzed from 2005 to 2008. As a result, 46,292 defective motorcycles are repaired and 1,376 accidents are prevented when the probability of occurring accidents among defective motorcycles is 2.97%. CONCLUSIONS : This study suggests the expected effect of motorcycle safety inspection is that the inspection can prevent 1,376 motorcycle accidents. However, the number of preventing motorcycle accidents are small, compared with the total number of motorcycle accidents because there are limitations to investigate the causes of defective motorcycle accidents. A more precise analysis of the expected effect of motorcycle inspection is possible when a systematic investigation of the causes of the accidents is implemented.

실시간 교통사고 예방 시스템 (Prevention System for Real Time Traffic Accident)

  • 교통사고를 줄이기 위해서, 많은 연구원이 교통사고 예측 모형을 연구하고 있다. 교통사고의 원인으로는 교차로 신호주기가 잘못 산출되거나 교차로 설계가 잘못된 경우가 많다. 그러므로, 정확하게 교통사고 원인을 분석하려면 많은 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 교차로 조건 및 날씨조건을 고려하여 최적 자동차 안전 속도를 실시간으로 산출하고자한다. 특별히, 비가 오거나 눈이 오는 경우에는 자동차 속도를 1/3이상 감속해야 된다. 그러나, 기존의 속도표지판은 기상조건이 바뀌어도 항상 같은 제한 속도를 표시하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 날씨조건과 도로조건을 이용한 최적 안전속도 산출 알고리즘을 제시한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험결과, 지능형 교통사고 예측알고리즘이 교통 제한속도를 정확하게 산출할 수 있음을 입증했다.

TCS(Traction Control System)을 위한 실시간 시뮬레이터 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Real-Time Simulator for Electric Traction Control System)

  • The automotive market has recently been investing much time and costs in improving existing technologies such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and TCS (Traction Control System) and developing new technologies. Additionally, various methods have been applied and developed to reduce this. Among them, the development method using the simulation has been mainly used and developed. In this paper, we have studied a method to develop SILS (Software In the Loop Simulation) for TCS which can test various environment variables under the same conditions. We modeled hardware (vehicle engine and ABS module) and software (control logic) of TCS using MATLAB/Simulink and Carsim. Simulation was performed on the climate, road surface, driving course, etc. to verify the TCS logic. By using SILS to develop TCS control logic and controller, it is possible to verify before production and reduce the development period, manpower and investment costs.

무인 자율주행을 위한 신호등의 검출과 인식 (Detection and Recognition of Traffic Lights for Unmanned Autonomous Driving)

  • 본 연구는 입력 영상에서 교통 신호등을 검출하고, 신호등의 색상을 인식하며, 신호를 판별하여 무인 자율주행 차량이나 ITS(Intelligent Transportation System)에 적용할 수 있는 신호등 색상 인식 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 교통신호등을 검출하기 위해 CEA(Canny Edge Algorithm)를 이용하여 외곽선을 추출하였고, 신호등의 색상을 인식하고 정확도를 높이기 위하여 HCT(Hough Circle Transform)를 적용하였다. 제안된 방법으로 주행도로상에서 획득한 스트림 영상에 적용한 결과, 우수한 신호등 색상 인식률을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 입력영상에서 신호등이 존재할만한 ROI(Region Of Interest)로 구분하여 연산시간을 줄일 수 있었고, 신호등과 유사한 영역이라도 원이 검출되지 않거나 HSV 공간에서 V값이 낮아 후보영역에서 탈락시킴으로써 인식률의 정확도를 높일 수 있었다.

Combined effect of fine aggregate and silica fume on properties of Portland cement pervious concrete

  • Portland cement pervious concrete has been expected to have good water permeability, mechanical properties and abrasion resistance at the same time when Portland cement pervious concrete is applied to the actual vehicle pavement. In this study, the coarse aggregate and cement were replaced by the fine aggregate and the silica fume to improve actual road performance Portland cement pervious concrete. The Mechanical properties, the water permeability and the abrasion resistance of Portland cement pervious concrete were investigated. The results show that the compressive strength, the flexural strength and the abrasion resistance are increased when the fine aggregate and the silica fume are added to Portland cement pervious concrete separately. However, the porosity and the water permeability are decreased simultaneously. With assistance of silica fume and fine aggregate simultaneously, Portland cement pervious concrete could achieve a higher strength. The compressive strength, the flexural strength and the abrasion resistance of Portland cement pervious concrete mixed with 5% fine aggregates and 8% silica fume are increased by 93.1%, 65% and 65.2%, respectively. The porosity and the water permeability are decreased by 22.4% and 85% when Portland cement pervious concrete is mixed with 5% fine aggregate and 8% silica fume. Therefore, the replacement ratio of the fine aggregates and the silica fume should be considered comprehensively and determined on the premise of ensuring the water permeability coefficient.
