Reverse engineering refers to the process that creates a physical part from acquiring the surface data of an existing part using a scanning device. In recent years, as the non-contact type scanning devices become more popular, the huge amount of point data can be obtained with high speed. The point data handling process, therefore, becomes more important since the scan data need to be refined for the efficiency of subsequent tasks such as mesh generation and surface fitting. As one of point handling functions, the cross-sectioning function is still frequently used for extracting the necessary data from the point cloud. The commercial reverse engineering software supports cross-sectioning functions, however, these are only for cross-sectioning the point cloud with the constant spacing and direction. In this paper, adaptive cross-sectioning point cloud which allow the changes of the spacing and directions of cross-sections according to the constant spacing and direction. In this paper, adaptive cross-sectioning algorithms which allow the changes of the spacing and directions of cross-sections according to the curvature difference of the point cloud data are proposed.
Function and strength of the deltoid muscle are important in reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA). Moreover, location and shape of the acromion, clavicle, and scapular spine, which are origins of the deltoid muscle, are also important. The frequency of os acromiale is 5% to 15%; however, it is rare in the Asian population, affecting approximately 0.7% of Koreans. RSA has rarely been reported in patients with os acromiale. We present a case series of two patients with cuff tear and arthropathy combined with os acromiale who underwent RSA. From 2016 to 2018, two patients with os acromiale who presented with pain and limited range of motion (ROM) underwent RSA with cuff tear arthropathy using the subscapularis-sparing deltopectoral approach. Their ROM, visual analog scale (VAS), and satisfaction were evaluated before and after surgery. In both patients, VAS decreased, ROM increased, and postoperative satisfaction increased. There were no specific complications due to os acromiale. The VAS, ROM, and satisfaction of patients improved after surgery compared with values before surgery. However, careful attention must be given during surgery to ensure optimal repair and recovery.
Purpose : The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on Balance Ability of Knee Osteoarthritis(OA) by Lower Extremity Patterns with dynamic reverse in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF). Methods : The subjects were consisted of 30 women patients with knee OA. All subjects were randomly assigned to PNF group. Each group had a treatment for 30 minutes per day and three times a week during 8 weeks period. Was used to measure recovery or worse of patient's condition, muscle assessment questionnaire(MAQ) was used to measure patient' s muscular strength, Endurance, coordination/balance, KWOMAC was used to pain, stiffness, and physical function, and BPM was used to measure path, anterior-posterior. Results : This study results in following conclusons. 1. MAQ score was significantly decreased in PNF group(p<.05). 2. KWOMAC score was significantly decreased in PNF group(p<.05). 3. BPM were score was significantly decreased in PNF group(p>.05). Conclusion : From this result the PNF treatment retrogression characteristic will be effective in treatment of patient, with the arthritis and widely may be applied at a therapist.
Objective: This study investigated whether executive function has a significant relationship to concrete, picture, and language clue tasks of the arithmetic story problem-solving ability, and its effects. Methods: The participants in the study were 112 young children at childcare centers. The following methods were used to evaluate executive function: Day-Night/Flag-Raising tasks, DCCS tasks, and digit span-reverse digit span methods. To measure the arithmetic story problem-solving ability concrete, picture, and language clue tasks were evaluated. Results: First, the higher the child's age, the higher their executive function and arithmetic story problem-solving abilities were. Second, there is a significant positive correlation between a young child's executive function and arithmetic story problem-solving ability. Third, when the task presentation method varied for concrete, picture, and language clue tasks, the effect of the subordinate factor of the execution function of the arithmetic story problem-solving ability also varied. Conclusion/Implications: Analysis confirmed the relationship between young children's executive function and arithmetic story problem-solving ability. The results are meaningful in showing that the sub-factors of the executive function have different influences on concrete, picture, and language clue tasks of the arithmetic story problem-solving ability.
Retron is a prokaryotic genetic element that produces multicopy single-stranded DNA covalently linked to RNA (msDNA) by a reverse transcriptase. It was found that cells producing a large amount of msDNA, rather than those that did not, showed a higher rate of mutation. In order to understand the molecular mechanism connecting msDNA production to the high mutation rate the protein patterns were compared by two dimensional gel electrophoresis. Ten proteins were found to be differentially expressed at levels more than three fold greater in cells with than without msDNA, nine of which were identified by MALDI TOF MS. Eight of the nine identified proteins were repressed in msDNA-producing cells and, surprisingly, most were proteins functioning in the dissimilation of various carbon sources. One protein was induced four fold greater in the msDNA producing cells and was identified as a 30S ribosomal protein S2 involved in the regulation of translation. The molecular mechanism underlying the elevated mutation in msDNA-producing cell still remains elusive.
Let ψ be an analytic function on 𝔻, the unit disc in the complex plane, and φ be an analytic self-map of 𝔻. Let 𝓑 be a Banach space of functions analytic on 𝔻. The weighted composition operator Wφ,ψ on 𝓑 is defined as Wφ,ψf = ψf ◦ φ, and the composition operator Cφ defined by Cφf = f ◦ φ for f ∈ 𝓑. Consider α > -1 and 1 ≤ p < ∞. In this paper, we prove that if φ ∈ H∞(𝔻), then Cφ has closed range on any weighted Dirichlet space 𝒟α if and only if φ(𝔻) satisfies the reverse Carleson condition. Also, we investigate the closed rangeness of weighted composition operators on the weighted Bergman space Apα.

Chemical mechanical polishing(CMP) process has been widely used to planarize dielectric layers, which can be applied to the integrated circuits for deep sub-micron technology. The rise throughput and the stability in the device fabrication can be obtained by applying of CMP process to STI structure in 0.18$\mu\textrm{m}$ m semiconductor device. The reverse moat process has been added to employ in of each thin films in STI-CMP was not equal, hence the devices must to be effected, that is, the damage was occurred in the device area for the case of excessive CMP process and the nitride film was remained on the device area for the case of insufficient CMP process, and than, these defects affect the device characteristics. Also, we studied the High Selectivity Slurry(HSS) to perform global planarization without reverse moat step.

For reverse engineering, curves and surfaces are modeled for new products by interpolating the digitized data points. But there are many measuring or deviation errors. Therefore, it is important to handle errors during the curve or surface modeling. If the errors are ignored, designer could get undesirable results. For this reason, fairing procedure with the aesthetics criteria is necessary in computer modeling. This paper presents methods of 3D NURBS curve fairing. The techniques are based on automatic repositioning of the digitized dat points or the NURBS curve control points by a constrained nonlinear optimization algorithm. The objective function is derived variously by derived curved. Constraints are distance measures between the original and the modified digitized data points. Changes I curve shape are analyzed by illustrations of curve shapes, and continuous plotting of curvature and torsion.

For improving the motion accuracy of hydrostatic table, corrective machining algorithm is proposed in this paper. The algorithm consists of three main processes. Reverse analysis is performed firstly to estimate rail profile from measured linear and angular motion error, in the algorithm. For the next step, correctwe machining information is decided as referring to the estimating rail profile. Finally, motion errors on correctively machined rail are analized by using motion error analysls method proposed in the previous paper. These processes can be rtcrated if the analized motion errors are worse than target accuracy. In order to verify the validity of the algorithm theoretically, motion errors by the estimated rail after corrective machining are compared with motion errors by true rail assumed as the measured value. Estimated motion errors show good agreement with assumed values, and it is confirmed that the algorithm IS effective to acquire the corrective machming information to improve the accuracy of hydrostatic table.
