Correlation between events with different safety significance in nuclear power plants

  • The main purpose of collecting and analyzing operating experience events is to look for insights to improve safety. The underlying assumption is the correlation and causality between events with different safety significances. The analysis of this assumption could be valuable to optimize operating experience feedback programs and to enhance safety. This paper analyses the correlation between events with different safety significances. Groups of events from six nuclear energy related databases are considered. The findings are that a correlation exists but with various levels and not as large or consistent as might be expected across different databases. These results might be the basis for further work to analysis causality, to find out how a similarity in causes influences the correlation, and finally to improve the operating experience program.

Customer Acceptance of Self-service Technologies in Retail: A Case of Convenience Stores in China

  • This paper investigates how firms increase customer acceptance of self-service technologies in retail, and the impact of self-efficacy on customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty. We conducted our empirical research by administering 308 questionnaires to customers of self-service convenience stores in China. We employed a structural equation model to analyze the relationship between service quality, revisit intention, and word of mouth. The results indicate that perceived service quality significantly influences customer satisfaction, with the service quality of self-service retail and experience value being important factors in consumer acceptance of self-service retail stores. Additionally, we investigated the relationship between customer experience value, satisfaction, and loyalty, and found that self-service retail stores exert a significant impact on perceived self-efficacy. Informed by the research on customer acceptance of self-service technologies in retail, promoting further development of self-service retail technologies can effectively aid companies in generating profit while offering more convenience to customers.

청소년의 인터넷 정보윤리의식 및 영향요인에 관한 연구 (Information Ethics on the Net among Youths and Related Variables)

  • This study is aimed to investigate ethics cognition to information of youths who are main users of computers, but yet not built up the own ethics and the sense of value, as ethical problems are raised in information-oriented society. The research was focused on youths ethics cognition to information according to contact of multimedia pornography, surreptitious use of others and abusion of indecent languages in chatting. The survey was conducted to 520 students from middle and high schools in Jeju region and analyzed Probit Regression. The major results of this study are as follows; First, most of youths possess own-computers, and use Internet. Second, looking into experiencing or not according to sub-spheres of ethics cognition to information, the experience of contacting multimedia pornography was few. but the primary place of using it was a house. Most of youths approach multimedia pornography in awareness of a ban on youths' contact. The experience of surreptitious use of others was less than other spheres, and mainly only once. The number of youths who have an experience of abusing indecent languages was less than that of youths who don't have, but the frequency of was high when the youths have an experience. Third, the experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a significant difference on personal-relative variables such as gender, age, education levels, number of siblings, academic records, personal expenses, relationship with friends. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon family-relative variables such as father's education levels, Job, mother's age, education levels, employment, family type, monthly household expense. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon PC-relative variables such as deviation experience in PC rooms, the experience of request for age confirmation(I.D. card), average use hour of PC rooms. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a more meaningful influence on personal-relative variables and PC-relative variables than family-relative variables.

유아 기본생활습관 교육에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식 (The perception of pre-service kindergarten teacher toward children's fundamental habit education)

  • The study was to see if the perceptions of pre-service kindergarten teacher toward the education of children's fundamental habit would show different characteristics based on their school type, education learning experience, and practicum experience. Subjects were 200 students majoring in early childhood education who were attending 3-year colleges and 4-year universities in Jellabuk-do and Daejeon. Preceding researches were referenced to develop questionnaire for the research method. The collected data was analyzed through t-test and Chi-square test. The followings are results: First, the interest in education showed significant difference in school type, but not significant difference in education learning experience and practicum experience. Second, the recognition in educational goal showed significant difference in practicum experience, but not significant difference in school type and education learning experience. the educational content showed significant difference in education learning experience, but not in school type and practicum experience. the recognition in educational principal showed significant difference in school type, but not significant difference in education learning experience and practicum experience. the recognition in educational method showed no significant difference in school type, education learning experience and practicum experience. Third, the recognition in educational hardship toward teaching showed significant difference in school type, education learning experience and practicum experience. The results of study would provide the righteous cognitive establishment of children's fundamental habit education and serve the appropriate guidelines being professor for our perspective kindergarten teachers. Also, they would be utilized as basic information to plan the direction of children's fundamental habit education to develop the program of children's life guidance.

전략적 고객 경험 모듈을 이용한 패션 라이프 스타일에 따른 고객 경험 인식 차이 (Difference in Perception of Customer Experience Based on Fashion Lifestyle Using Strategic Experiential Modules)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify customer experience components using Bernd H. Schmitt's Strategic Experiential Modules and explore the relevance between fashion lifestyle and customer experience components. A survey was conducted on 400 adults between the ages of 20s to 50s who had experience in sportswear stores. The results obtained are as follows. First, according to fashion lifestyle, the respondents were divided into an individuality-valued pragmatic group, a trend-oriented brand-seeking group, a fashion-interested group, and a conservative pragmatic group. Second, customer experience components were divided into sensory experience, emotional experience, cognitive experience, behavioral experience, and relational experience. Third, on analyzing the relationship between customer experience and fashion lifestyle, it was found that a fashion-interested group has the highest value in all experiences; therefore, it can be considered that the higher the interest in fashion, the more important is the customer experience. On the other hand, the conservative pragmatic group represented generally smaller values than the other three groups in all customer experiences. Fourth, there were significant differences in the customer experience components that were considered to be important depending on the fashion lifestyle type. An individuality-valued pragmatic group valued cognitive experiences, a fashion-interested group valued all experiences, and a conservative pragmatic group showed low scores in all customer experiences. The results of this study will allow companies to build more customer-friendly experiences and enable consumers to engage in satisfactory purchasing activities through better customer experiences.

전시회의 물리적 환경이 체험 및 참관객의 만족도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Physical Environment of Exhibition on the Experiences and Visitors' Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 최근 들어서 전시회가 활성화됨에 따라 각 전시회는 참관객에게 많은 관심과 만족도를 높이기 위하여 온갖 심혈을 기울이고 있다. 이에 전시회의 물리적 환경과 체험 등에 관한 선행연구들을 바탕으로 연구모형을 도출하고 가설을 설정하였다. 본 연구모형에서 체험의 제공수단으로 물리적 환경이 체험요소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고, 체험요소가 참관객의 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 본 연구에서 규명하여 참관객들의 방문을 증가시키기 위한 체험 요소를 확인하고 참관객의 만족을 높이는 방안을 참가업체에게 유용한 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 전시회의 물리적 환경(접근성, 매력성, 청결성, 편리성, 쾌적성, 인적 서비스)을 독립변수로 설정하였고, 체험(감각적, 감성적, 인지적, 행동적, 관계적 체험)을 매개변수로 하여 참관객의 만족도를 규명하였다. 이를 종합하면 전시회의 물리적 환경은 체험에 영향을 미치며, 체험은 참관객의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 전시 주최자들은 전시회를 개최하는데 있어서 각각의 물리적 환경과 체험요소를 충분히 검토하여 참관객의 만족도를 높여야 할 것이다.

TUI(Tangible User Interface)기반의 어린이 체험전시 특성 분석 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Children's Experience Exhibition Based on Tangible User Interface)

  • 본 연구는 TUI기반 체험전시의 담론 활성화를 위한 기초 연구로 디지털환경에서 변화되고 있는 어린이 체험전시 현상을 분석하여 TUI를 활용한 어린이 체험전시의 발전 유형을 밝혀 보고자 하였다. 연구 전개를 위하여 체험전시에서 야기되는 인터랙티브의 요소인 TUI(tangible user interface)를 처음 제안한 MIT Tangible Media Group의 3가지 요소 측면(인터랙티브 평면, 비트와 원자의 연결, 환경미디어)과 텐저블즈 유형(물건, 장치, 평면, 공간)을 토대로 국내외 체험전시 사례를 조사 분석하고 특성을 도출하였다. 분석결과, TUI 요소는 인터랙티브 평면과 비트와 원자, 환경미디어 순서가 많았으며, 텐저블즈는 물건, 평면, 장치, 공간 유형 순서로 높았다. 이러한 사실은 어린이들의 적극적 개입과 확장된 경험이 필요한 체험전시에 TUI가 적극 활용되고 있음을 보여준다.

복합문화공간의 사용자 경험 연구 -별마당도서관과 아크앤북을 중심으로- (A Study on the User Experience of the Complex Cultural Space -Focused on Starfield Library and ARC.N.BOOK-)

  • 현대사회에서 라이프 스타일의 변화로 복합문화공간에 대한 수요가 높아지고 다양한 복합문화공간이 생겨나고 있다. 그러나 아직 사용자 중심에서의 복합문화공간 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 복합문화공간의 다양한 문화체험 기능과 사용자 경험이 올바르게 전달되고 있는지 알아보기 위해 국내 대표 복합문화공간인 '별마당 도서관'과 '아크앤북'을 비교하여 분석하였다. 연구 방법으로 사용자 경험 분석 도구와 심층 인터뷰를 하였다. 그 결과, 두 공간 모두 상업 공간과 브랜드 도서관이 조화롭지 않다는 반응을 보였고, 복합문화공간의 서비스 이용이 일부 불편하다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 이는 현재 복합문화공간이 제공하는 체험 가치와 사용성에 개선의 조치가 필요하다는 결과로 해석되며, 본 연구를 기반으로 향후 복합문화공간의 발전에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

패션리테일에서 원활한 옴니채널 경험과 충성도 - 리테일유형별 비교 - (Seamless Omnichannel Experience in Fashion Retail and Customer Loyalty - Influence of Retail Types -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of retailing types on consumers' omnichannel experience while purchasing fashion products. The omnichannel experience occurs when retailers provide seamless customer experience across the various touchpoints of retail channels. In this empirical study, retail types were categorized into single-brand stores and multi-brand stores, and the relationship among store loyalty, brand loyalty, and customer retention was observed by the research model. A survey was conducted on the global consumers who had experience in purchasing fashion products via the omnichannel using Amazon Mechanical Turk; as a result, 351 responses were analyzed. The mediating and moderating effects of loyalty constructs and retail types were analyzed using Process Macro 4.0. The results indicated that a seamless omnichannel experience affects customer retention by mediating store loyalty and brand loyalty; additionally, the dual mediating effect of store loyalty and brand loyalty was significant. The moderating effect according to retail type was identified, and the moderated mediation effect of store loyalty was validated. The results showed that multi-branded retailers' store loyalty had a stronger influence on customer retention than that of single-brand retailers and exhibited the relationship between store loyalty and brand loyalty as well as retail types (single vs multi) in a seamless omnichannel customer experience.

남자 간호사의 태움 경험 (Male Nurse's Taeoom Experience)

  • 본 연구는 남자 간호사의 태움 경험을 탐색하여 경험의 본질을 이해하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이에 태움 경험이 있는 임상 경험 1년 이상의 남자 간호사 10명을 대상으로 심층면담을 진행하였으며, 질적연구방법 중 하나인 현상학적 연구방법(Colaizzi)을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 남자 간호사의 태움 경험은 37개의 의미단위, 19개의 주제, 4개의 주제모음으로 구분되었으며, 4개의 주제모음은 '한 사람의 인생을 송두리째 변화시키는 체험', '여초조직에서 살아남기', '변화되기 어려운 간호조직', '나는 간호사'로 나타났다. 남자 간호사의 태움 경험은 남성의 특성을 이해받지 못한 채 나홀로 여성이 다수인 간호조직 내에서 적응을 위하여 고분군투하는 남자 간호사의 모습을 보여준다. 본 연구결과 간호조직의 차원에서 남자 간호사의 특성을 이해하고 조직 내에서 융화하기 위한 다각적 노력이 요구됨을 시사한다.
