In this study, the fuzzy programming is extended to handle various types of membership functions by transformation of the complicated fuzzy programming problems into the equivalent crisp linear programming problems with single objective. It is well-known that the fuzzy programming problem with linear membership functions (i.e., ramp type) can be easily transformed into a linear programming problem by introducing one dummy variable to minimize the worst unwanted deviation. However, until recently not many researches have been done to handle various general types of complicated linear membership functions which might be more realistic than ramp-or triangular-type functions. In order to handle these complicated membership functions, the goal dividing concept, which is based on the fuzzy set operation (i. e., intersection and union operations), has been prepared. The linear model obtained using the goal dividing concept is more efficient and single than the previous models [4, 8]. In addition, this result can be easily applied to any nonlinear membership functions by piecewise approximation since the membership function is continuous and monotone increasing or decreasing.

In this article, we introduce the quasi strongly E-convex function and pseudo strongly E-convex function on strongly E-convex set which generalizes strongly E-convex function defined by Youness [10]. Some non trivial examples have been constructed that show the existence of these functions. Several interesting properties of these functions have been discussed. An important characterization and relationship of these functions have been established. Furthermore, a nonlinear programming problem for quasi strongly E-convex function has been discussed.

Our preliminary aim is to elucidate the pharmacokinetic features of the PNS(Panax notoginseng Buck F.H. Chen. (Arialiaceae) root). First, we assessed the prevention of neurtrophil functions. A Panax notoginseng inhibited neutrophil functions, including degranulation, superoxide generation, and leukotriene B4 production, without any effect on 5-lipoxygenase activity. This Panax notoginseng reduced nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 production in mouse peritoneal macrophages stimulated with lipopolysaccharide, whereas no influence on the activity of inducible NO synthase, cyclo-oxygenase-2 or cyclo-oxygenase-1 was observed. Panax notoginseng significantly reduced mouse paw oedema induced by carrageenan. The results indicate that Panax notoginseng exerts anti-inflammatory effects related to the inhibition of neutrophil functions and of NO and prostaglandin E2 production, which could be due to a decreased expression of inducible NO synthase and cyclo-oxygenase-2.

On the setting of the upper half-space of the euclidean n-space, we study some properties of harmonic little Bloch functions and we show that for a given harmonic little Bloch function $u$, there exists unique harmonic conjugates of $u$, which are also little Bloch functions with appropriate norm bounds.

The railway signaling system consists of computerized vital devices. Therefor it is important to validate the required functions of developed signaling system. To verify the condition and functions of signaling functions, the plentiful laboratory test is required. To achieve this, the emulation S/W for signaling test-bench is needed. The object-oriented concept for trackside signaling equipments emulation is described in this paper.

With the emergence of the smart era, interest in future society and new dwelling spaces is growing. This research analyzes the planning items applied to future house pavilions in Korea to examine which functions will be more emphasized and considered importantly in the dwelling spaces. This research paper aims to identify those dwelling functions that will occupy greater importance from the users' point of view. As for the research methodology, it comprised a literature review and an analysis of case studies. The results of this research were as follows; 1) It was arranged that the dwelling functions were safety, amenity, convenience, independence, economics, society, relaxation, aesthetic appearance. 2) For future dwelling environments, environment-friendly technology for conservation of energy was important in addition to intellectual cutting edge technologies, 3) Safety was most basic among all dwelling functions, 4) Planning items related to amenity and economics were found to be most common, indicating that they were important functions in future dwelling environments, 5) With regard to convenience, planning items related to increasing efficiency of household chores through the application of ubiquitous technology were found to be most common, 6) There was no indication of planning items related to independence and society, 7) Cutting edge technology and emotional technology appear to be integrated in planning items related to relaxation and aesthetic appearance, and 8) Each future dwelling pavilion suggested that over 80% of the planning items were related to amenity, convenience, and economics. We expect that the results from our research will be useful in creating a life-centered design of future dwelling spaces that account for dwelling functions.
