대심도 탄성파 토모그래피 탐사를 이용한 암반분류 (Rock Quality using Seismic Tomography in Deep Tunnel Depths)

  • 본 연구에서는 수도권 근처의 터널설계시 대심도 탄성파 토모그래피 탐사에 의한 탄성파 속도와 Q 값과의 상관관계를 도출하고 이를 통한 정확한 암반분류로 공사비 절감효과에 대하여 고찰하였다. 터널전구간 지표면에서 탐사를 수행하여 대심도 구간의 자료를 얻어 암반분류를 수행하였으며, 이상대 구간에서는 VSP를 통한 자료를 추가하여 보다 상세한 자료를 얻어 신뢰성 향상을 얻을 수 있었다.

팬형분무의 주변조건에 따른 입자분포 변화 (The Droplet Size Distribution of Fan Spray at Different Surrounding Conditions)

  • In this study, the droplet size distribution of a slit injector at different surrounding conditions, such as air flow and fuel temperature, were investigated. Phase Doppler anemometry (PDA) was utilized to investigate the initial droplet size distribution and the effect of fuel temperature and air flow on droplet size distribution. The entrained air motion was also evaluated by the temporal velocity profile of droplets. When the air flow velocity increased, the small droplets were more entrained to the upper and central parts of the spray and this tendency was confirmed by plotting the temporal velocity profile of droplets. This entrainment of small droplets at high airflow velocities caused relatively small mean droplet size at upper and central parts of the spray and the large mean droplet size at downstream and edge of the spray, compared to that of low airflow velocities. The total mean droplet size, obtained by averaging the size of all droplets measured at all test locations, decreased when the high airflow velocities were applied. The increased fuel temperature, with an airflow velocity of 10m/s, caused reduced droplet size at all test locations. However, the decreased value of mean droplet size at high fuel temperatures was relatively higher at upper parts of the spray, compared to downstream, as a result of enhanced entrainment of small droplets to upper parts of the spray.

운동매질내에서의 Circular Loop Antenna의 개체특성 (Radiation characteristics of A Circular Loop antenna In Moving Media)

  • 본 논문에서는 광속에 비해서 대단히 낮은 속도로 운동하고 있는 선형, 등방, 균질 매질내에서 크기가 파장과 동등정도이거나 그 이상인 Circular Loop Antenna의 방사특성을 고찰하였다. 고찰에 있어서 우선 운동매질내에서의 전자파방정식인 Maxwell-Minkowski방정식을 토대로 하여 Circular loop antenna에 해당하는 Vector potential을 유도하고 전자계식을 구하였다. 다음 이와같이 유도된 식들로부터 특정한 파장과 속도에 대한 전자계를 계산하고 field pattern을 도시하였으며 이 pattern과 정지매질에서의 field pattern을 비교 검토하였다. 검토한 결과, 지향성은 loop면에 평행한 속도성분에 한하여 속도방향으로는 축소되고 속도와 반대방향으로는 신장되는 사실이 발견되었으며 이 경향은 속도가 클수록 동진주파수가 높을수톡 크게됨을 알수 있었다.

수진 거리에 따른 방진구의 진동 저감 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Reduction of Borehole by the Receive Distance)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the vibration reduction effect of the borehole which is controlled the vibration propagation in the ground. For this study, we measured the vibration velocity before and after the borehole installation. The results are as follows: The peak particle velocity(PPV) and peak vector sum(PVS) was reduced by the borehole. And also, the deviation of vibration velocity before and after the borehole installation showed large values in longitudinal and vertical component depending on the receive distance, and increased depending on the size of vibration energy. Finally, the vibration isolation efficiency was 25~35 percentage at 1.5m receive distance, and was 4~14 percentage at 3.0m receive distance. It was found that the vibration isolation efficiency was good in small vibration energy, but was not good at long receive distance.

도플러 초음파를 이용한 개에서 마취에 따른 간문맥 혈류량 변화의 측정 (Estimation of portal blood flow using pulsed doppler ultrasound in the anesthetized dog)

  • Portal bood flow was measured with pulsed Doppler ultrasound in twenty anesthetized dogs. In anesthetized dogs with xylazine HCl, the average of portal blood flow velocity was reduced($11.68{\pm}1.55cm/sec$ vs. normal $16.67{\pm}1.77cm/sec$). Average portal blood flow was also decreased compared to normal($28.36{\pm}11.61ml/min/kg$ vs. normal $43.12{\pm}14.46 ml/min/kg$). And congestion index was increased($0.0368{\pm}0.0117cm{\cdot}sec$) vs. normal $0.0297{\pm}0.0062cm{\cdot}sec$). In anesthetized dogs with ketamine HCl, portal blood flow velocity was slightly increased ($22.62{\pm}2.53cm/sec$ vs. normal $16.67{\pm}1.77cm/sec$. Also mean portal blood flow was slightly increased($43.12{\pm}14.46ml/min/kg$ vs. normal $55.32{\pm}19.99ml/min/kg$). In anesthetized dogs with tiletamine and zolazepam, portal blood flow velocity and portal blood flow were unchanged.

수치 최적화 기법을 이용한 램 가속기 성능 향상 연구 (A Study on the Ram Accelerator Performance Improvement Using Numerical Optimization Techniques)

  • Numerical design optimization techniques are implemented for the improvement of the ram accelerator performance. The design object is to find the minimum ram tube length required to accelerate projectile from initial velocity $V_0$ to target velocity $V_e$. The premixture is composed of $H_2,\;O_2,\;N_2$ and the mole numbers of these species are selected as design variables. The objective function and the constraints are linearized during the optimization process and gradient-based Simplex method and SLP(Sequential Linear Programming) have been employed. With the assumption of two dimensional inviscid flow for internal flow field, the analyses of the nonequilibrium chemical reactions for 8 steps 7 species lave been performed. To determined the tube length, ram tube internal flow field is assumed to be in a quasi-steady state and the flow velocity is divided into several subregions with equal interval. Hence the thrust coefficients and accelerations for corresponding subregions are obtained and integrated for the whole velocity region. With the proposed design optimization techniques, the total ram tube length had been reduced $19\%$ within 7 design iterations. This optimization procedure can be directly applied to the multi-stage, multi-premixture ram accelerator design optimization problems.

열교환기 모델내 하천수와 시수의 Fouling 특성 비교 (A Comparative Study on the Fouling Characteristics of River and Tap Water in a Heat Exchanging Model)

  • Scale is formed when hard water is heated or cooled in heat transfer equipments such as heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, boilers, and pipe walls. When scale deposits in a heat exchanging surface, it is traditionally called fouling. The objective of the present study was to compare the fouling characteristics of river and tap water in a heat exchanging model. FromtheSEM analyses for tap water the $calciteformofCaCO3_{3}$ was formed. For river water, however, the $aragoniteCaCO_{3}$ wasformed.In order to investigate velocity effects on the fouling characteristics in the heat exchanging model, the inlet velocity was varied with 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 m/s, respectively. The fouling characteristics of river water were quite different from those of tap water. For the case of the 'velocity of 1.5m/s', the overall heat transfer coefficient was reduced up to 26% than that of the 'velocity of 0.5m/s'

터널화재에서 환기속도와 backlayer의 길이변화 (The Change of Backlayer Length with the Ventilation Air Velocity in the Tunnel Fire)

  • 본 연구는 도로 터널 화재 발생 시 연소가스의 backlayer현상을 수치실험하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 상업용 열 유체해석코드인 PHOENICS를 사용하여 정상상태의 열 유동현상을 수치해석하였으며 환기용 공기속도를 독립변수로 하고 종속변수는 backlayer의 길이로 하였다. 수치해석에 사용한 난류모델은 $textsc{k}-\varepsilon$ 모델을 사용하였고 Hybrid 차분법을 사용하고 질량 잔류값을 수렴조건으로 사용하였다. 수치실험 결과 backlayer의 길이가 환기 속도에 반비례하여 감소하고 backlayer가 발생하지 않는 임계 환기속도가 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한 연소가스의 수직방향 성층화로 터널하부에 승객이 대피할 수 있는 공간이 존재함을 확인 할 수 있었다.

축류형 흡배송 송풍기의 성능에 관한 실험적연구 (A Experimental Study on the Performance of an Axial-Type Suction-Blowing Fan)

  • An experimental study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of a suction-blowing fan that could not only remove polluted air by suction but also create the air-curtain by blowing. In order to create the air-curtain, rotors were installed on the surface of the shroud. These blows fresh air into the polluted region. The fresh air is spouted backward 45o on the basis of the axial direction using a double-ducted bellmouth. In the same suction operating condition, the suction region was extended by increasing the blowing velocity. However, the increasing rate of suction region was reduced when the blowing velocity was increased steadily. Thus, an efficient blowing velocity should be determined depending on the suction operating condition. In addition, the blowing requires additional input power. In a fixed suction operating condition, the input power was linearly increased in proportion to the blowing flowrate. When the suction-blowing fan was operated in the same input power as the suction fan, the suction region was increased more than 30% based on the 0.6m/sec velocity.

화재강도에 따른 임계풍속산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Calculation of Critical Velocity by Fire Intensity)

  • 본 연구는 도로터널 화재 시 최적의 방재시스템을 구축하기 위하여 실제터널의 축소모형을 대상으로 임계풍속 산정에 대한 적절성 검토를 위해 수행되었다. Froude scaling에 의해 실제터널의 약 1/29 축소모형에서 연기의 유동가시화 및 온도와의 상관관계 분석에 의해 임계풍속을 산정하였다. 실험결과 연기의 역류길이가 0이 되는 값으로 임계풍속을 산정한 결과 Kennedy 식에 의해 계산된 결과와 약 5% 이내의 차이로 근사함을 나타내었으며 연기 유동 및 온도분포의 관계는 화재강도의 변화에 큰 영향을 받지 않고 유사하게 나타났다.
