열경화성 소재를 사용한 웨이퍼 레벨 렌즈 성형 중 이형 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Release Characteristics During Wafer-Level Lens Molding Using Thermosetting Materials)

  • 열경화성 소재를 이용하여 열경화방식의 웨이퍼 레벨 렌즈를 성형할 때 발생될 수 있는 불량요인 중 이형과정에서 성형 렌즈의 금형 고착문제는 웨이퍼 레벨에서 성형된 기판의 파손 및 기판의 변형으로 성형된 웨이퍼 기판의 적층시 웨이퍼 양면의 렌즈 형상 및 센터 정렬 오차에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 웨이퍼 레벨 렌즈 성형 공정에서 이형력에 영향을 미치는 인자를 검토하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 먼저 상·하 금형의 코팅 재질에 따른 이형력을 검토하기 위하여 금형 표면을 ITO 및 Ti로 표면처리 후 O2분위기에서 플라즈마 처리하였고, 또한 DLC 코팅도 진행하였으며 경화 및 이형성을 검토하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 pull-off 실험을 위한 코팅방법을 선정하였다. 또한 경화공정조건에 따른 이형력을 측정하기 위하여 압력을 유지하면서 경화시키는 방법과 일정한 간격을 유지하면서 경화시키는 방법을 실험적으로 적용하였다. 그 결과 Ti 코팅 후 O2 플라즈마 표면처리 방법이 이형력을 감소시키고 위치를 제어하면서 경화시킬 경우 경화수축에 의해 경화 중 계면의 접착에너지를 감소시켜 보다 나은 이형이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

일반농장과 동물복지농장 닭의 혈액 내 gas, 생화학인자, 호르몬 농도 및 근육 내 스트레스 반응인자 비교 (Comparison of Blood Gas, Biochemical Factors, and Hormone Concentrations, and Muscle Stress Response Factors of Chickens in General Farms and Animal Welfare Farms)

  • 본 연구는 육계에서 동물복지농장의 스트레스 저감효과를 과학적인 지표를 통해 확인하고자 시행되었다. 농장 내 gas 농도를 비교한 결과 일반농장에서 육계에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 CO2와 NH3의 농도가 높았다. PCO2는 일반농장에서, PO2는 동물복지농장에서 유의하게 높았다. 일반농장의 육계에서 혈중 CREA, GLU, AST, CK가 유의적으로 높았으며, TP, GLOB는 유의하게 낮았다. 또한 혈중 corticosterone과 norepinephrine이 일반농장에서 유의하게 높은 값을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 동물복지농장에 비해 일반농장 육계의 스트레스 수치가 더 높은 것으로 판단되며, 동물복지농장이 스트레스가 감소된 사양 환경을 제공하고 있다는 것을 의미한다.

하중조건을 고려한 제주 화산암지대의 지반 안정성 평가 (Ground Stability Evaluation of Volcanic Rock Area in Jeju according to the Loading Conditions)

  • 본 논문은 SOC시설물 건설에 따른 지반 안정성을 평가한 논문으로, 기존 지반 및 숨골 조사결과에 따른 지반 물성치를 이용하여 SOC시설물 하부지반의 안정성을 평가한 것이다. 연구내용은 다음과 같다. 1) 기존 지반조사 자료를 기반으로 지반현황을 분석하여 숨골 및 지반 물성치를 산정하였다. 2) 수치해석을 통한 지반의 안정성 및 변형 범위를 파악하였다. 3) 지반안정성 해석단면(대형장비 주행로) 결정한 후 단면에 대한 모델링을 하여, 지반 안정성을 평가하였다. 본 연구는 SOC시설물 전체 부지를 크게 3개의 단면으로 나누어 해석하였으며, SOC시설물 하부지반의 각 단면별 지반, 하중조건 및 포장조건을 파악하여 컴퓨터 수치해석 모델링을 통해 응력, 침하량, 변형률을 산정하였다. 현 지반 조건에 따른 각 단면별 해석결과, 침하량은 0.11~0.18 m, 전응력은 92.75~445 kPa로 해석되었다. 이 결과들은 하부지반의 숨골을 고려하여 지반의 강도 정수를 감소시켰을 뿐 아니라, 하부지반의 보강이 없는 조건으로 해석한 결과이므로, 적절한 하부지반의 조건을 고려하여 약액주입 등의 간단한 지반 보강만으로 충분한 SOC시설물 지반 안정성을 확보할 수 있다.

완충재 설계시 고려사항 및 고기능 완충재 연구 현황 (Design Considerations for Buffer Materials and Research Status of Enhanced Buffer Materials)

  • 현재 고준위방사성폐기물 처분을 위한 완충재의 설계 기준 온도는 100 ℃ 미만이기에 완충재의 열 분산 능력이 개선된다면 처분장의 처분 터널과 처분 공의 간격을 줄일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 완충재의 열-수리-역학 성능 기준을 분석하고자 하였으며, 완충재의 열전도도를 개선할 수 있는 고기능 완충재의 연구 현황에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 우선, 열전도도는 가능한 높아야 하며 완충재의 열전도도 값은 건조밀도, 함수비, 온도, 광물조성, 벤토나이트 유형에 영향을 받는다. 또한 완충재에 함유된 유기물은 처분용기의 부식 성능에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있기에 완충재의 유기물 함량은 매우 낮아야 한다. 수리전도도는 근계암반보다 더 낮게 설정해야 하며, 완충재가 제 기능을 하기 위해 팽윤성이 적정해야 한다. 고기능 완충재 개발을 위해 대표적으로 모래, 흑연, 산화 흑연 등의 첨가제를 사용하며 흑연의 경우 모래보다 아주 적은 첨가량으로 열전도도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다.

The efficacy and safety of Dendropanax morbifera leaf extract on the metabolic syndrome: a 12-week, placebo controlled, double blind, and randomized controlled trial

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The extract from Dendropanax morbifera exhibited diverse therapeutic potentials. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of D. morbifera leaf extract for improving metabolic parameters in human. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A 12-week, double blind, placebo-controlled and randomized trial included a total of 74 adults, and they were assigned to the placebo group (n = 38) or 700 mg/day of D. morbifera group (n = 36). The efficacy endpoints were changes in glycemic, lipid, obesity, and blood pressure (BP) parameters, in addition to the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) and the numbers of MetS components. Safety was assessed by monitoring adverse events (AEs). RESULTS: After 12 weeks of treatment, the hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level significantly decreased in the D. morbifera group compared to that of the placebo group (difference: -0.13 ± 0.20% vs. 0.00 ± 0.28%, P = 0.031; % of change: -2.27 ± 3.63% vs. 0.10 ± 5.10%, P = 0.025). The homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance level also decreased significantly from its baseline in the D. morbifera group. The systolic BP of D. morbifera group decreased significantly than that of placebo group (difference: -3.9 ± 9.8 mmHg vs. 3.3 ± 11.7 mmHg, P = 0.005; % of change: -2.8 ± 7.7% vs. 3.3 ± 10.2%, P = 0.005). However, the lipid parameters and body composition including body weight did not differ between the groups. The prevalence of MetS (36.8% vs. 13.9%, P = 0.022) and the incidence of MetS (10.5% vs. 13.9%, P = 0.027) at 12 weeks was significantly lower in the D. morbifera group than it was in the placebo group. No serious AEs occurred in either group. CONCLUSIONS: Supplementation with D. morbifera extracts over a 12-week period improved metabolic parameters such as HbA1c and BP and reduced the prevalence of MetS.

라이프케어 증진을 위한 협응적 이동훈련 프로그램이 비만 여성노인의 균형에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Coordinative Locomotor Training Program for Life-Care Promotion on Balance of Obese Elderly Women)

  • 본 연구는 라이프케어 증진을 위한 협응적 이동훈련 프로그램이 비만 여성노인의 균형에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 본 연구의 대상자는 비만 여성노인 10명으로, 최근 1년 이내 허리나 엉덩관절 및 무릎관절 수술경험이 없고 독립보행이 가능한 자로 선정하였다. 협응적 이동훈련을 일일30분씩 2회, 주5회, 4주간 총 20회 실시하였다. 협응적 이동훈련 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 인바디 BMI검사, myoVIDEO를 이용한 관절가동범위검사, 표면근전도 검사(척추세움근, 배바깥빗근, 넙다리네갈래근, 넙다리뒤근육), 힘판 트레드밀을 통한 동적 균형검사, 버그 균형 척도(BBS)와 일어서서 걷기 검사(TUG)를 중재전후 시행하였다. 본 연구의 연구결과, 보행 시 디딤기 및 흔듦기 시기에 몸통과 엉덩관절의 관절가동범위 전-후 비교에서 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며(p<0.05), 표면근전도를 통한 근 활성도검사에서는 척추세움근과 배바깥빗근의 중재 전-후 비교에서 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 보행 시 동적균형검사에서는 보행선길이와 한발지지선의 중재 전-후 비교에서 유의한 차이가 있었으며(p<0.05), 버그 균형 척도(BBS)와 일어서서 걷기검사(TUG)에서도 중재 전-후 비교에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 본 연구결과를 통해 라이프케어 증진을 위한 협응적 이동훈련 프로그램이 비만 여성노인의 자세불안정과 근 약화, 균형능력감소 및 낙상위험도를 개선에 유의한 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 비만 여성노인의 균형능력 개선 및 낙상방지를 통한 라이프케어증진을 위해 이동적 협응훈련 프로그램 적용을 권장한다.

당뇨병 동물모델에서 여정엽(女貞葉) 추출물의 항당뇨 및 항염증 효과 (Anti-diabetic and Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Water Extract of Ligustrum japonicum Leaves in db/db Mouse)

  • Objectives : In this study, we investigated the anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory effects of water extract from leaves of Ligustrum japonicum (WLJ) in db/db mouse. Methods : The db/db mice were treated orally with WLJ (300 mg/kg/day) for 10 weeks to examine the long-term effects on hyperglycemia and glomerular tissue as well as biochemical and functional abnormalities in the kidney. Results : WLJ treatment markedly reduced plasma levels of glucose, triglyceride, creatinine, and systolic blood pressure in diabetic db/db mouse. Treatment of WLJ significantly increased plasma level of high density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol. We also found that overexpressions of vascular cellular adhesion molecule (VCAM)-1 and endothelin (ET)-1 were observed in aortic tissue of db/db mouse, whereas, WLJ suppressed both expression of VCAM-1 and ET-1 in aorta. In renal tissue, overexpressions of ICAM-1 and TGF-${\beta}1$ were found in untreated db/db mouse, however, significantly decreased those levels by WLJ treatment. The insulin immunoreactivity of the pancreatic islets remarkably increased in WLJ treated db/db mouse compared with untreated db/db mouse. Taken together, WLJ treatment ameliorated hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia via improvement of insulin secretion and lipid metabolism, respectively. Furthermore, WLJ treatment also ameliorated hypertension via inhibition of inflammatory process in vascular and renal tissues. Conclusions : Ligustrum japonicum has an anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory effects in db/db mouse. Thus, these results suggested a beneficial effect of Ligustrum japonicum in treatment with diabetes and diabetic vasculopathy.

Improved postoperative recovery profile in pediatric oral rehabilitation with low-dose dexmedetomidine as an opioid substitute for general anesthesia: a randomized double-blind clinical trial

  • Background: Low-dose dexmedetomidine may be a suitable alternative to opioids for pediatric ambulatory procedures under general anesthesia (GA). However, the recovery profile remains unclear. Herein, we aimed to evaluate the effects of low-dose dexmedetomidine on the recovery profile of children. Methods: Seventy-two children undergoing ambulatory oral rehabilitation under GA were randomly and equally distributed into two groups (D and F). Group D received an infusion of dexmedetomidine 0.25 ㎍/kg for 4 min for induction, followed by maintenance of 0.4 ㎍/kg/h. Group F received an infusion of fentanyl 1 ㎍/kg over 4 min for induction, followed by maintenance at 1 ㎍/kg/h. The primary outcome was the extubation time. The secondary outcomes were awakening time, end-tidal sevoflurane (ET-Sevo) requirement, change in hemodynamic parameters, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS), Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario pain scale (CHEOPS) score, length of PACU stay, and incidence of adverse events. Results: Statistically significant differences were observed in the recovery profile between the groups: the median time for extubation was 3.65 (3.44-6.2) vs. 6.25 (4.21-7) minutes in groups D vs. F (P=0.001), respectively, while the corresponding awakening times were 19 (18.75-21) and 22.5 (22-24) minutes, respectively (P < 0.001). The mean ET-Sevo was low in group D (1.1 vs. 1.2; P < 0.001). The heart rate was significantly low across all time points in group D, without resulting in bradycardia. The median RASS and CHEOPS scores were also significantly lower in group D. No significant differences were observed in the mean arterial pressure, incidence of adverse events, or length of PACU stay. Conclusion: Low-dose dexmedetomidine was more effective than fentanyl as an opioid substitute at providing a better recovery profile in pediatric ambulatory oral rehabilitation under GA. Dexmedetomidine also significantly reduced sevoflurane consumption without causing adverse events or prolonging hospital stay.

내탁백렴산 추출물의 항염증 효능 연구 (Anti-inflammatory Effects of Naetakbaekryeom-san)

  • Objectives This study was conducted to confirm the anti-inflammatory effect of Naetakbaekryeom-san (NTB), and whether it could be another treatment for inflammatory diseases. Methods The NTB water extract was extracted with hot water at 100℃ for 2 hours, concentrated at 80℃ under reduced pressure, and used. After 2 hours of pretreatment with NTB and positive control Bay11-7082, nitric oxide (NO), inducible NO synthase (iNOS), interleukin (IL)-6, IL-1𝛽, tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-𝛼) were measured in RAW264.7 cells activated with lipopolysaccharides (LPS) 500 ng/mL. After 2 hours of pretreatment with NTB, the anti-inflammatory effect of NTB was evaluated by measuring nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-𝜅B) in RAW264.7 cells and 293T cells activated with phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetic acid (PMA) 30 ng/mL. Results In RAW264.7 cells activated with LPS, NTB at concentrations of 0.1, 0.3, and 1.0 mg/mL showed no cytotoxicity, significantly inhibited NO production and inhibition of iNOS expression. TNF-𝛼 cytokine levels was not regulated, but NTB at each concentration inhibited the production of IL-1𝛽 and IL-6, and the effect was higher than that of the positive control Bay11-7082 (20 𝜇M). In PMA-activated RAW264.7 cells and 293T cells, each concentration of NBT decreased the NF-𝜅B transcriptional activity, with the greatest decrease at 1 mg/mL. Conclusions These results demonstrated the anti-inflammatory effect of NTB water extracts, but further studies such as comparison of anti-inflammatory effects and antioxidant effects by NTB component, comparison of effects according to extraction solvents, and clinical studies are needed.

  • Sound quality and NVH-issues(Noise, Vibration and Harshness) of vehicles has become very important for car manufacturers. It is interpreted as among the most relevant factors regarding perceived product quality, and is important in gaining market advantage. The general sound quality of vehicles was gradually improved over the years. However, today the development cycles in the automotive industry are constantly reduced to meet the customers' demands and to react quickly to market needs. In addition, new drive and fuel concepts, tightened ecological specifications, increase of vehicle classes and increasing diversification(increasing market for niche vehicles), etc. challenge the acoustic engineers trying to develop a pleasant, adequate, harmonious passenger cabin sound. Another aspect concerns the general pressure for reducing emission and fuel consumption, which lead to vehicle weight reductions through material changes also resulting in new noise and vibration conflicts. Furthermore, in the context of alternative powertrains and engine concepts, the new objective is to detect and implement the vehicle sound, tailored to suit the auditory expectations and needs of the target group. New questions must be answered: What are appropriate sounds for hybrid or electric vehicles? How are new vehicle sounds perceived and judged? How can customer-oriented, client-specific target sounds be determined? Which sounds are needed to fulfil the driving task, and so on? Thus, advanced methods and tools are necessary which cope with the increasing complexity of NVH-problems and conflicts and at the same time which cope with the growing expectations regarding the acoustical comfort. Moreover, it is exceedingly important to have already detailed and reliable information about NVH-issues in early design phases to guarantee high quality standards. This requires the use of sophisticated simulation techniques, which allow for the virtual construction and testing of subsystems and/or the whole car in early development stages. The virtual, testing is very important especially with respect to alternative drive concepts(hybrid cars, electric cars, hydrogen fuel cell cars), where complete new NVH-problems and challenges occur which have to be adequately managed right from the beginning. In this context, it is important to mention that the challenge is that all noise contributions from different sources lead to a harmonious, well-balanced overall sound. The optimization of single sources alone does not automatically result in an ideal overall vehicle sound. The paper highlights modern and innovative NVH measurement technologies as well as presents solutions of recent NVH tasks and challenges. Furthermore, future prospects and developments in the field of automotive acoustics are considered and discussed.
