아동의 잠재된 영재성 개발 프로그램

  • Torrance에 따르면, 열등생의 약 30% 정도가 잠재된 영재성을 지닌 아동이라고 한다. 이러한 잠재된 영재아들은 자신의 영재성을 겉으로 나타내 보이는 아동보다 실제로 훨씬 더 많이 존재한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 아동의 잠재된 영재성을 발현시키기 위한 연구 활동은 비교적 활발하게 진행되지는 않았었다. 러시아 학자 바바에바는 아동의 잠재된 영재성을 개발시키기 위한 새로운 교육 프로그램을 만들었다. 그의 프로그램에서는 여러 가지 활동 방법들 즉 ‘심리 교정 활동’ 그리고 ‘심리 진단 및 훈련 활동’이 포함되어 있으며 이러한 훈련 활동은 몇 개의 단계를 거쳐 실현되며 각 단계들은 단계별 목적과 실현 방법을 갖고 있다. 본 프로그램에 의해 진행되는 실험 학습에 비영재로 판별된 아동들이 참여한 결과 이들의 지능 및 창의력 수준은 영재로 판별된 아동들과 비슷한 수준으로 향상되는 결과가 나타났다. 이 프로그램‘에 의해 바바에바는 아동의 영재성 발달 과정에 적지 않은 영향을 미치고 있는 심리적 저해 요소들을 밝혀냈을 뿐만 아니라 그것을 아동 스스로 극복할 수 있도록 이끌어주는 구체적인 학습 방법들을 개발하기도 하였다. 본고에서는 독특한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 러시아에서 연구된 바바에바의 ‘잠재된 영재성 개발 프로그램’을 고찰해 보고 그들의 이론적인 배경과 구체적인 활동 방법을 소개하고자 한다. 이를 통해 우리 나라 영재 교육의 바람직한 방향을 제시하고, 비록 여러 영역에서 탁월한 능력을 가지고 있으면서도 자신의 잠재성을 제대로 발휘하지 못하고 영재 프로그램의 혜택을 받지 못하는 잠재된 영재아를 위한 훈련 활동 및 교육 프로그램을 설계하는데 있어 의미있는 시사점들을 도출하려고 한다. 때 아동의 한 영역에서의 창의성은 그 아동의 다른 영역에서의 창의성이나 일반적으로 유용 되고 있는 창의성 검사 등을 통해서 신뢰성 있게 예측되거나 판별되기가 어려움을 지적하고 있다. 창의적인 아동을 판별하기 위해 창의성 검사들이 무분별하게 사용되어 지고 있는 현실을 고려할 때 본 연구의 결과는 그 의미가 상당히 크다 할 수 있다. 끝으로 필자는 창의성을 영역 한정적으로 보는 견해가 아동의 창의적 특성에 관한 보다 유용하고 건설적인 정보를 제시하기 때문에 일반적으로 창의성 검사에 의존하는 영역 보편적 견해보다 더욱 효과적이라고 주장한다. 본 연구는 또한 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 영재 판별과 영재 교육과정에 관한 시사점을 제시한다.증진제 첨가 실험결과 이소프로필알콜 0.1%이상 첨가 살포에서 2회처리시에 약간의 살충력 증진 효과를 보였으며, 규조토 첨가는 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 11) 노지재배 고추의 약해검정결과 25%카프릴산비누 50배액을 제외하고는 약해가 발생하지 않았으며, 25% 카프론산 비누의 100배액은 고추 유묘기에 약해를 나타내었다. 양배추에서는 25% 카프릴산 비누 100배액에서 약해를 보였으나, 25% 야자지방산의 경우 50~100배액 어디에서도 액해를 보이지 않았다. 별도로 적용한 시험에서, 토마토의 경우에도 25% 야자지방산 비누 50~100배액 모두 약해를 발생하지 않았으나, 오이에서는 25% 야자지방산 비누 100배액에도 약해를 나타내었다. 12) 이상의 결과, 천연지방산을 이용하여 유기농업에 허용되는 각종의 살충비누를 제조할 수 있었으며, 방제가 조사결과 진딧물, 응애 등 껍질이 연약한 곤충의 방제에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 제조된 살충비누를

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made. Comparisons between the valves were made on the transvalvular pressure drop, regurgitation volume and maximum valve opening area. The polymer valve showed smaller regurgitation volume and transvalvular pressure drop compared to the mechanical valve at higher heart rate. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. We propose a new image reconstruction method using internal current density data measured by NMR. We obtained a two-dimensional current density distribution within a phantom by processing the real and imaginary MR images from a 4.77 NMR machine. We implemented a resistivity mage reconstruction algorithm using the finite element method and sensitivity matrix. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. The procedure has the following three distinct stages. First, the initial center is estimated by the initial center estimation algorithm which is applied to decimated image. Third, best-fit boundary is detected by the cost function which is based on the best-fit elliptic model. We use combination of MLP and fuzzy filter for pattern recognition to estimate the direction of a muscle and Hogan's method for the force estimation. EMG signals are acquired by using a amputation simulator and 2 dimensional joystick motion. The main unit includes a 12.1" TFT color LCD, a main CPU board, and peripherals such as a module controller, Ethernet LAN card, video card, rotate/push button controller, etc. The main unit can connect at maximum three module cases each of which can accommodate up to 7 parameter modules. They include the modules for electrocardiograph, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, temperature, and SpO2 with Plethysmograph.SpO2 with Plethysmograph.

The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. 대중문화에 재현된 동아시아 자본주의 사회의 담론 : 슈퍼히어로 애니메이션 <타이거 앤 버니>를 중심으로 (The Discourse of Capitalist Society on East Asian Pop Culture: A TV Series of Superhero Animation )

  • 서구의 슈퍼히어로 장르는 캐릭터들의 탄생과 성장을 다루는 과정에서 정치, 경제, 사회 환경과 함께 각종 기호체계와 타 예술 장르들을 외적으로 흡수하고, 기존의 작품들을 패러디(parody) 등의 여러 형식으로 받아들였다. 본 논문에서는 슈퍼히어로 장르의 이와 같은 발전과정을 인식의 토대로 하여, 미국적 정신의 구현으로 여겨지던 이 장르가 어떻게 동아시아에서 입체적으로 활용되고 다양하게 재구성되었는지, 일본 선라이즈(Sunrise)사의 TV 애니메이션 시리즈 <타이거 앤 버니>(Tiger & Bunny,2011)를 통해 사례 분석하였다. <타이거 앤 버니>는 상호텍스트성에 기반을 둔 패러디적 유형과 특징들을 보이고 있으며, 내면 정서와 가치관의 동양적 재현에 더해, 자본주의 사회의 회사 중심적인 현대인들의 특징을 차용하여 적극적으로 사회의 외적인 부분을 반영하였다. 서구 히어로물과의 유사성과 차이점 비교를 통해 제시되는 부분은 크게 두 가지로 정리된다. 하나는 서구적 자본주의 사회에 대한 부정적 풍자이고, 다른 하나는 동양적 가족주의 가치관에 대한 긍정적 강조이다. 개인주의와 성과 위주의 평가가 만연한 서구 자본주의 사회에 대한 풍자는 히어로들의 TV 활동 과정에서 이루어진다. 이는 자본과 미디어에 수동적으로 종속된 현대 인간과 공공적 목표조차도 이윤의 도구로 이용하는 자본주의 시스템에 대한 은유적 비판이다. <타이거 앤 버니>의 설정과 내러티브에서 강조되는 덕목은 개인과 사회에 대한 동아시아적 가치관인데, 이는 국가와 사회의 구성원들을 가족적 정서로 연결시켜 공동체의 성공을 위해 노력하는 협조적 관계를 말한다. 타이거는 각자 사적인 목적에 충실하여 대의명분 없이 경쟁만 하던 히어로 집단에 정신적 지주 역할을 수행하고, 버니와 동료들은 타이거의 인간적인 가족주의적 커뮤니케이션 방식에 점차 감화된다. <타이거 앤 버니>는 이 과정을 통해서 현대사회의 사회병리를 해결할 수 있는 방안은 세계시민으로서 이러한 공동체 중심적, 자기희생적 정서를 갖추는 것임을 강조한다.

PLS 경로모형을 이용한 IT 조직의 BSC 성공요인간의 인과관계 분석 (A PLS Path Modeling Approach on the Cause-and-Effect Relationships among BSC Critical Success Factors for IT Organizations)

  • Measuring Information Technology(IT) organizations' activities have been limited to mainly measure financial indicators for a long time. However, according to the multifarious functions of Information System, a number of researches have been done for the new trends on measurement methodologies that come with financial measurement as well as new measurement methods. Especially, the researches on IT Balanced Scorecard(BSC), concept from BSC measuring IT activities have been done as well in recent years. BSC provides more advantages than only integration of non-financial measures in a performance measurement system. The core of BSC rests on the cause-and-effect relationships between measures to allow prediction of value chain performance measures to allow prediction of value chain performance measures, communication, and realization of the corporate strategy and incentive controlled actions. More recently, BSC proponents have focused on the need to tie measures together into a causal chain of performance, and to test the validity of these hypothesized effects to guide the development of strategy. Kaplan and Norton[2001] argue that one of the primary benefits of the balanced scorecard is its use in gauging the success of strategy. Norreklit[2000] insist that the cause-and-effect chain is central to the balanced scorecard. The cause-and-effect chain is also central to the IT BSC. However, prior researches on relationship between information system and enterprise strategies as well as connection between various IT performance measurement indicators are not so much studied. Ittner et al.[2003] report that 77% of all surveyed companies with an implemented BSC place no or only little interest on soundly modeled cause-and-effect relationships despite of the importance of cause-and-effect chains as an integral part of BSC. This shortcoming can be explained with one theoretical and one practical reason[Blumenberg and Hinz, 2006]. From a theoretical point of view, causalities within the BSC method and their application are only vaguely described by Kaplan and Norton. From a practical consideration, modeling corporate causalities is a complex task due to tedious data acquisition and following reliability maintenance. However, cause-and effect relationships are an essential part of BSCs because they differentiate performance measurement systems like BSCs from simple key performance indicator(KPI) lists. KPI lists present an ad-hoc collection of measures to managers but do not allow for a comprehensive view on corporate performance. Instead, performance measurement system like BSCs tries to model the relationships of the underlying value chain in cause-and-effect relationships. Therefore, to overcome the deficiencies of causal modeling in IT BSC, sound and robust causal modeling approaches are required in theory as well as in practice for offering a solution. The propose of this study is to suggest critical success factors(CSFs) and KPIs for measuring performance for IT organizations and empirically validate the casual relationships between those CSFs. For this purpose, we define four perspectives of BSC for IT organizations according to Van Grembergen's study[2000] as follows. The Future Orientation perspective represents the human and technology resources needed by IT to deliver its services. The Operational Excellence perspective represents the IT processes employed to develop and deliver the applications. The User Orientation perspective represents the user evaluation of IT. The Business Contribution perspective captures the business value of the IT investments. Each of these perspectives has to be translated into corresponding metrics and measures that assess the current situations. This study suggests 12 CSFs for IT BSC based on the previous IT BSC's studies and COBIT 4.1. These CSFs consist of 51 KPIs. We defines the cause-and-effect relationships among BSC CSFs for IT Organizations as follows. The Future Orientation perspective will have positive effects on the Operational Excellence perspective. Then the Operational Excellence perspective will have positive effects on the User Orientation perspective. Finally, the User Orientation perspective will have positive effects on the Business Contribution perspective. This research tests the validity of these hypothesized casual effects and the sub-hypothesized causal relationships. For the purpose, we used the Partial Least Squares approach to Structural Equation Modeling(or PLS Path Modeling) for analyzing multiple IT BSC CSFs. The PLS path modeling has special abilities that make it more appropriate than other techniques, such as multiple regression and LISREL, when analyzing small sample sizes. Recently the use of PLS path modeling has been gaining interests and use among IS researchers in recent years because of its ability to model latent constructs under conditions of nonormality and with small to medium sample sizes(Chin et al., 2003). The empirical results of our study using PLS path modeling show that the casual effects in IT BSC significantly exist partially in our hypotheses.

광한루원의 경관변화양상에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the aspect of landscape change for Gwanghalluwon Garden)

  • 본 연구는 누원(樓園) 조성의 관점에서 광한루원의 경관변화양상을 파악하고자 관련 문헌을 바탕으로 공간구조 중심의 변화과정을 4시기의 공간변화로 구분할 수 있었으며, 현존하지 않거나 기록에서 나타나지 않는 경관요소를 설화나 소설에서 나타나는 상상환경에 도입하여 도식화한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 광한루가 처음으로 조성되는 시기는 광한루(廣寒樓)의 전신인 광통루(廣通樓)가 조성되는 기간으로, 작은 개울을 근경으로 그 일대의 지리산을 원경으로 하는 등 경관이 수려한 장소에 위치하고 있으며, 문헌을 통해 광한루는 광통루의 경관을 그대로 계승한 것임을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 광한루가 원(園)의 성격을 가지는 시기는 1582년 이후로. 신선사상이 반영된 이상세계 구현을 위하여 삼신산을 조성하고, 은하수를 상징하는 호수와 오작교를 조성하였다. 셋째, 광한루원이 복구되는 시기는 정유재란 이후부터 일제강점기 기간으로 광한루원의 원형을 회복하는 과정은 매우 부분적으로 진행되어 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 이 당시 기록에서 나타나는 광한루원은 정유재란 이전의 경관을 계승하여 여전히 선경의 모습에 비유되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 넷째, 근대에 이르러 광한루는 춘향전의 배경으로 관광지의 성격을 지니게 되었으며, 세 차례에 걸쳐 권역이 확장되어 현재에 이르고 있다. 다섯째, 광한루원의 각 시기별 변화양상은 광한루를 중심으로 외부로 확장되고 있음을 알 수 있었으나, 외부로 확장되는 요소는 관아누각인 광한루원의 진정성과는 무관한 시설이 다수 유입된 것으로 보인다. 여섯째, 광한루원 일원의 주요 요소들이 설화와 소설 속에 내재된 상상환경에 공통적으로 나타나고, 당시의 정원문화가 묘사되고 있는 것을 통해 문헌상의 한계로 인해 확인할 수 없었던 광한루원의 문화경관을 추정할 수 있었다.

해외근무(海外覲務) 기업체(企業體)에 대(對)한 테러 방지책(防止策) - 최근(最近) 소수민족분리주의운동지역(小數民族分離主義運動地域)을 중심(中心)으로 - (The Preventive Measures On Terrorism Against Overseas Korean Businessmen(A view of recent ethnic minority separation movement))

  • This study concerns possible measures to prevent separatists' terrorist acts against overseas Korean businessmen. Of late, many Korean enterprises are helping a number of foreign countries develop their economy, by building factories and manning regional offices in those countries. But recent development of terrorism especially against Korean businessmen is alarming. This report discusses the need for Korean enterprises heading overseas to prepare themselves with awareness of terrorism and possible protective measures against it, besides their routine pursuance of profits; and for the government and prospective enterprises to refrain from investing in those countries having active separatist movements. If an investment has become inevitable, a careful survey of the region in conflict should be conducted and self-protective measures should be put in place through security information exchange, emergency coordination and training of personnel, etc. This study will first review the past terrorist incidents involving employees of overseas Korean enterprises, and then will focuss on seeking effective measures on the basis of the reported incidents. In carrying out the study, related literature from both home and abroad have been used along with the preliminary materials reported and known on the Internet from recent incidents. 1. The separatist movements of minority groups Lately, minority separatist groups are increasingly resorting to terrorism to draw international attention with the political aim of gaining extended self rule or independence. 2. The state of terrorism against overseas Korean enterprises and Koreans Korean enterprises are now operating businesses, and having their own personnel stationed, in 85 countries including those in South East Asia and Middle East regions. In Sri Lanka, where a Korean enterprise recently became a target of terrorist bombing, there are 75 business firms from Korea and some 700 Korean employees are stationed as of August 1996. A total of 19 different terrorist incidents have taken place against Koreans abroad since 1990. 3. Terrorism preventive measures Terrorism preventive measures are discussed in two ways: measures by the government and by the enterprises. ${\blacktriangleleft}$ Measures by the government - Possible measures at governmental level can include collection and dissemination of terrorist activity information. Emphasis should be given to the information on North Korean activities in particular. ${\blacktriangleleft}$ Measures by individual enterprises - Organizational security plan must be established by individual enterprises and there should also be an increase of security budget. A reason for reluctant effort toward positive security plan is the perception that the security budget is not immediately linked to an increment of profit gain. Ensuring safety for overseas personnel is a fundamental obligation of an enterprise. Consultation and information exchange on security plan, and an emergency support system at a threat to security must be sought after and implemented. 4. Conclusion Today's terrorism varies widely depending on reasons and causes, and its means has become increasingly informationalized and scientific as well while its method is becoming more clandestine and violent. Terrorist organizations are increasingly aiming at enterprises for acquisition of budgets needed for their activities. Korean enterprises have extended their business realm to foreign countries since 1970, exposing themselves to terrorism. Enterprises and their employees, therefore, should establish their own security measures on the one hand while the government must provide general measures, on the other, for the protection of the life and property of Korean residents abroad from terrorist attacks. In this regard, set-up of a counter terrorist organization that coordinates the efforts of government authorities in various levels in planning and executing counter terrorist measures is desired. Since 1965, when the hostile North Korea began to step up its terrorist activities against South Koreans, there have been 7 different occasions of assassination attempt on South Korean presidents and some 500 cases of various kidnappings and attempted kidnappings. North Korea, nervous over the continued economic growth and social stabilization of South Korea, is now concentrating its efforts in the destruction and deterioration of the national power of South Korea for its earlier realization of reunification by force. The possibility of North Korean terrorism can be divided into external terrorist acts and internal terrorist acts depending on the nationality of the terrorists it uses. The external terrorist acts include those committed directly by North Korean agents in South Korea and abroad and those committed by dissident Koreans, hired Korean residents, or international professionals or independent international terrorists bought or instigated by North Korea. To protect the life and property of Korean enterprises and their employees abroad from the threat of terrorism, the government's administrative support and the organizational efforts of enterprises should necessarily be directed toward the planning of proper security measures and training of employees. Also, proper actions should be taken against possible terrorist acts toward Korean business employees abroad as long as there are ongoing hostilities from minority groups against their governments.

한국인 남성에서 GSTM1과 CYP1A1 유전자 다형성과 원발성폐암의 유전적 감수성 (Polymorphisms of GSTM1 and CYP1A1, and Susceptibility to Primary Lung Cancer in Korean Males)

  • 서 론 : 폐암의 80-90%는 흡연과 관계가 있으나 흡연자의 일부에서만 폐암이 발생하는 현상은 개체의 유전적 소인이 폐암발생을 결정하는 주요 요인임을 시사한다. 저자들은 한국인에서 발암물질 대사효소계의 유전자 다형성에 따른 폐암의 위험도를 조사하고자 연구를 시행하였으며 본 연구에서는 담배 내에 존재하는 benzo(a)pyrene 등의 polycylic aromatic hydrocarbon의 대사에 관여하는 GSTM1 과 CYP1A1 유전자 다형성에 따른 폐암의 상대위험도를 조사하였다. 방 법 : 1998년 1월부터 1998년 9월까지 경북대학교병원내과에서 병리학적으로 폐암으로 확진된 환자를 대상으로 하였으며 악성종양으로 진단받은 과거력이 있는 사람은 제외하였다. 대조군은 1998년 1월부터 1999년 8월까지 경북대학교병원 건강검진센터를 방문한 40세 이상의 검진자들을 대상으로 하였으며 호흡기질환이나 악성종양이 있는 경우는 제외하였다. 대상인의 나이, 성, 흡연력, 과거력 등은 면접이나 병력지를 통해 얻었으며, 시료는 전혈 5cc에서 DNA를 추출하고 PCR과 RFLP법을 통해 GSTM1과 CYP1A1의 유전자 다형성을 조사하였다. 결 과 : GSTM1(-) 형인 경우 소세포폐암의 대응비가 1.772로 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다. CYP1A1 MspI 유전자형이 m2/m2 인 경우 m1/m1 형인 경우에 비해 소세포폐암의 대응비가 3.374(95% CI=1.092-10.421)로 유의하게 높았다. 결 론 : GSTM1과 CYP1A1 유전자형은 폐암의 위험도를 결정하는 인자로 생각되나, 보다 많은 예를 대상으로 한 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

언어네트워크 분석을 적용한 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 연구 동향 분석 (Analysis on the Trends of Studies Related to the National Competency Standard in Korea throughout the Semantic Network Analysis)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 관련 연구 동향에 대하여 언어네트워크 분석을 적용하여 연구 핵심어의 구명 및 핵심어간의 연결 속성, 그리고 핵심어간의 확장에 대해 살펴보고 향후 NCS관련 연구의 발전 방안에 대하여 모색하고자 수행되었다. 이 연구의 대상은 한국교육학술정보원에서 제공하는 학위논문 및 학술지 논문지 가운데 국가직무능력표준 또는 NCS를 키워드로 하는 논문이며, 총 345편의 논문으로 선정하였다. 연구동향의 분석 방법으로는 언어네트워크 분석방법을 적용하였으며, 이를 위하여 논문의 제목에 나타난 용어에서 핵심어를 도출하였다. 빈도분석을 위하여 KrKwic을 사용하였으며, 연결망 분석을 위하여 UCINET6.0, 연결망의 시각화를 위하여 NetDraw를 활용하였다. 이 연구를 통해 도출된 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 관련 연구는 2002년부터 시작되어 점진적으로 증가되어 오다가 2014년 이후 큰 폭의 성장세를 이루고 있다. 둘째, 키워드 네트워크 분석 결과 '국가직무능력표준(NCS), 개발, 교육과정, 분석, 활용, 직무, 대학, 교육' 등이 중점 키워드로 나타났다. 셋째, 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 관련 연구의 하위 군집분석 결과 4개의 군집으로 분류되었으며 이는 '국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 취지와 목적을 실현하기 구체적인 전략 등에 관한 연구', '국가직무능력표준(NCS)을 활용하여 직업기초능력 향상과 대학생의 취업 관련 가능성에 탐색적 연구', '전문대학 중심의 전문교과의 교육과정 및 개편을 위한 실무적 연구', '고등학교 수준의 직업교육과정에 요구 및 인식에 관한 분석'으로 볼 수 있었다. 넷째, 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에 관한 국내 연구물의 키워드간의 연결 형성과정은 '직무${\rightarrow}$직무능력${\rightarrow}$국가직무능력표준(NCS)${\rightarrow}$교육${\rightarrow}$과정, 교육과정${\rightarrow}$개발, 대학${\rightarrow}$분석, 활용${\rightarrow}$자격, 적용, 개선${\rightarrow}$방안, 운영, 산업${\rightarrow}$설계${\rightarrow}$평가'의 형태로 확장되고 있었다.

XML 기반의 에너지 저장용 프로파일 어댑터 분석 및 설계 (Analysis and Design of Profiling Adaptor for XML based Energy Storage System)

  • 에너지 저장장치(Energy Storage System)은 전력 수요가 적을 때 전력을 저장해 두었다가 수요가 발생하거나 비상시 저장된 전력을 사용함으로 전기 에너지를 저장하여 필요할 때 사용 가능함으로써 에너지 이용 효율 향상, 전력공급 시스템 안정화 및 신재생 에너지 활용도 향상 효과를 가지는 시스템이다. 최근 세계적으로 에너지의 효율적인 소비에 대한 관심이 증대되면서 전력의 안정적인 공급을 원하는 수요자와 전력 수요 평준화를 원하는 공급자의 요구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 에너지 저장장치의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 현재 에너지 저장장치를 구성하는 Power Conditioning System(PCS), Battery Management System(BMS), 배터리 셀은 제조사별로 상이한 규격을 가진다. 이로 인해 각 핵심 부품 간 인터페이스가 규격화되어 있지 않아, 에너지 저장장치의 구성 및 운영에 난점으로 작용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제조사별로 상이한 특징을 가지는 부품들의 설정과 효율적 운영에 필요한 정보를 수용하여 에너지 저장장치를 구성할 수 있는 XML 기반의 에너지 시스템 전용 프로파일 시스템의 설계와 분석방안을 제안한다. 제조사별 PCS, BMS, 배터리 셀과 그 외의 주변 기기들의 설정 정보 및 운영 정보를 분석하여 프로파일 규격을 정의하고, 에너지 저장장치에 적용할 수 있는 프로파일 어댑터 소프트웨어를 설계 및 구현한다. 프로파일 어댑터를 통해 생성된 프로파일은 설정 프로파일과 운영 프로파일로 구성되며, 추후 확장성을 고려하여 표준 XML의 규격을 따른다. 구현된 프로파일 시스템의 검증은 에너지 저장장치 시스템에 적용되어 기본적인 충 방전 동작을 통해 정상 동작 결과를 제안한다.
