A Study on the Apparatus for Image Transmission and Transmission Control using Cellular Phone Network (셀룰러폰 통신망을 이용한 영상전송 및 전송제어 장치에 관한 연구)

  • A remote image transmission apparatus combines robot technology and image transmission there is safe problem or place that a person can not go. Recently, control apparatus that use wire and RF between web server and robot for remote control are developed. But, there is problem that must install Internet line and communication distance. Transmission distance problem can solve when using the equipment of RF, but price of RF router is problem that is very high cost. In this paper, we developed remote control system using the cellular phone communication network that can control image transmission and image transmission apparatus to solve these problem. Developed system could solve defects of methods that use existent RF and internet. And could transmit the most suitable image and voice under limited condition include current communication network.

  • In this paper, We have fabricated PMMA thin films by plasma polymerization method for organic thin film transistor's insulator layer. In the electrical characteristic results with deposition pressures and substrate RF bias power in thin film deposition process, we have got dielectric constant of 3.4, high deposition rate of 8.6 [nm/min] and high insulation characteristics in condition of RF100 [W], Ar20 [sccm], 5 [mtorr], RF bias 20 [W]. Therefore, the fabricated thin films are possible as insulation layer of OTFT and organic memory.

  • In this paper, a local oscillator for X-band radar system is designed and fabricated with GaAs MESFET. GaAs MESFET is good for microwave oscillators because of very low noise figure and high electron mobility. Oscillator design methods in this paper are used the characteristic of negative resistance of active component and impedance matching technique without RF resonator. So, oscillator is designed in compact size because space of RF resonator is reduced and can be applied MMIC technique. Designed oscillator has characteristic of the output power of 2.30 dBm and center frequency of 10.545GHz.

  • In the Bluetooth piconet in which up to 7 slave devices can be connected simultaneously at one network instance, the wireless data expected to be sent over to the RF interface should be sliced by the unit of 1 micrometer, which is a requirement in the specification of the Bluetooth version 1.1. In this contribution, we have designed a digital low-pass filter which is able to slice the unstable analog signal fed from the RF interface to the Baseband, by the uniform unit of 1 micrometer, and is also capable of removing the possible noise which can be caused by the analog circuit system. The low-pass filter operated well in the various modes of the Bluetooth RF embedded Baseband chip such as sleep mode, normal mode, and high-speed mode at 12MHz, 24MHz, and 48MHz respectively.

  • This paper has proposed a 2,500 MHz ~ 2,570 MHz 0.13-${\mu}m$ CMOS RF front-end transmitter for LTE-Advanced systems. The proposed RF front-end transmitter is composed of a quadrature up-conversion mixer and a driver amplifier. The measurement results show the maximum output power level is +6 dBm and the suppression ratio for the image sideband and LO leakage are better than -40 dBc respectively. The fabricated chip consumes 36 mA from a 1.2 V supply voltage.

  • A MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) mixer chip using the schottky diode of InGaAs/CaAs p-HEMT process has been developed for receiver down converter of Ka-band. A different approach of MMIC mixer structure is applied for reducing the chip size by the exchange of ports between IF and LO. This MMIC covers with RF (30.6∼31.0㎓)and IF (20.8∼21.2㎓). According to the on-wafer measurement, the MMIC mixer with miniature size of 3.0mm1.5mm demonstrates conversion loss below 7.8㏈, LO-to-RF isolation above 27㏈, LO-to-IF isolation above 19㏈ and RF-to-IF isolation above 39㏈, respectively.

  • 본 논문에서는 Local Oscillator(LO)의 누설신호 제거를 위해 혼합기의 특성을 이용하여 광대역의 특성을 가지고 RF 채널에 근접한 누설신호를 제거할수 있는 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 구조는 Half-LO 주파수를 이용하는 방버븡로 LO 누설신호를 일반적인 다른 경우보다 RF 신호대역에서 멀리 떨어진 대역으로 분리시킴으로서 대역 통과여파기로서 쉽게 제거하였다. 상향변환기로서 필요한 저역통과여파기, 대역통과여파기, 그리고 증폭기를 설계하였고 혼합기에 의한 영상성분은 혼합기의 위상을 특성을 이용하여 제거하였다.

  • In WSN, at the initial stage, sensor nodes are randomly deployed over the region of interest, and self-configure the clustered networks by grouping a bunch of sensor nodes and selecting a cluster header among them. Specially, in WSN environment, in which the administrator's intervention is restricted, the self-configuration capability is essential to establish a power-conservative WSN which provides broad sensing coverage and communication coverage. In this paper, we propose a communication coverage-aware cluster head election algorithm for Herearchical WSNs which consists of communication coverage-aware of the Base station is the cluster head node is elected and a clustering.

  • Visible light communication(VLC) system based on LED devices has some specific advantages compared with RF system. First, visible light is harmless to human and there is no limit to using frequency band. Also, VLC system has good security performance, and it can use the very wide frequency band for data transmission. However, for simultaneously using the illumination and data transmission in VLC systems, degradation of code rate is occurred. So, in this paper, we proposed the novel line coding scheme for flicker free and efficient dimming control in VLC systems. From the simulation results, it is confirmed that proposed scheme has good flicker, dimming, and transmission performance compared to conventional variable pulse position modulation(VPPM) scheme.
