In this paper, we designed and fabricated a high-speed semiconductor sensor for use in power control devices and analyzed the characteristics with pulsed radiation tests. At first, radiation sensitive circular Si PIN diodes with various diameters(0.1 mm ~5.0 mm) were designed and fabricated using Si epitaxial wafer, which has a $42{\mu}m$ thick intrinsic layer. The reverse leakage current of the diode with a radius of 2 mm at a reverse bias of 30 V was about 20.4 nA. To investigate the characteristic responses of the developed diodes, the pulsed gamma-radiation tests were performed with the intensity of 4.88E8 rad(Si)/sec. From the test results showing that the output currents and the rising speeds have a linear relationship with the area of the sensors, we decided that the optimal condition took place at a 2 mm diameter. Next, for the selected 2 mm diodes, dose rate tests with a range of 2.47E8 rad(Si)/sec to 6.21E8 rad(Si)/sec were performed. From the results, which showed linear characteristics with the radiation intensity, a large amount of photocurrent over 60mA, and a high speed response under 350ns without saturation, we can conclude that the our developed PIN diode can be a good candidate for the sensor of power control devices.

Let H and G be finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebras and let A and B be left H and G-module algebras respectively. We use smash product algebras to show that 1) if A is right Artinian then $A^H$ is right Artinian, 2) $Soc\;V_A{\subset}Soc\;V_{A^H}$ and rad $V_A{\supset}\;radV_{A^H}$, 3) $K\;dim\;_BV_A=K\;dim\;_{B^G}V_{A^H}$.

The purpose of this paper is to prove that the noncommutative version of the Singer-Wermer Conjecture is affirmative under certain conditions. Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. We show that if there exists a continuous linear Jordan derivation D : A ${\rightarrow}$ A such that [D(x), x]$D(x)^3{\in}$ rad(A) for all $x{\in}A$, then D(A) ${\subseteq}$ rad(A).

In this paper we show that if D is a continuous linear Jordan derivation on a Banach algebra A satisfying [[D($x^{n}$), $x^{n}$, $x^{n}$] $\in$ rad(A) for a positive integer n and for all x${\in}$A, then D maps A into rad(A).

The purpose of this paper is to prove the following result: Let A be a noncom mutative Banach algebra. Suppose that there exist continuous linear Jordan derivations $D:A{\rightarrow}A$, $G:A{\rightarrow}A$ such that [$D^2(x)+G(x)$, $x^n$] lies in the Jacobson radical of A for all $x{\in}A$. Then $D(A){\subset}rad(A)$ and $G(A){\subset}rad(A)$.

방전가열형 구리증기레이저의 비축형 불안정공진기를 사용하여 레이저의 빔발산각을 안정공진기의 경우에 비해 25배 (200 $\mu$rad) 까지 줄였다. 이때 불안정공진기의 배율 M 은 50 이었으며, 평균출력은 안정공진기를 사용할 경우에 비해 53 %를 얻었다. 또한, M이 8.5 일 때 (750 $\mu$rad) 평균출력은 안정공진기의 94% 까지 도달하였다.
