매칭성능 기반의 지문샘플 품질측정방법에 관한 비교연구 (Matching Performance-Based Comparative Study of Fingerprint Sample Quality Measures)

  • 지문샘플의 품질은 지문인식 시스템에서 매칭 성능에 영향을 주는 중요한 요소이다. 지문인식 시스템에서 낮은 품질의 지문영상을 제거하면 인식 에러율이 현저하게 줄어드는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 minutiae 기반의 지문인식 알고리즘을 이용하여 단일 샘플 품질 측정방법에 대한 유효성을 평가하였다. 우선, minutiae 기반의 지문인식 알고리즘의 매칭성능에 영향을 주는 여러 가지 요소에 대하여 검증하고, 다음, 현재 흔히 사용하는 측정방법에 대해 연구하고, 그 중 효과적인 품질측정방법들을 선택하여 NIST, QualityCheck와 Verifinger 5.0을 이용하여 비교 분석 하였다. FVC 데이터베이스로 실험한 결과 단일 측정방법도 매칭성능을 효과적으로 향상함을 알 수 있었다.

패밀리 레스토랑 품질 관리 및 차별화 전략이 고객 만족과 경영 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Quality Management and Differentiation Strategies of Family Restaurants on Customer Satisfaction and Management Performance)

  • The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of quality management and differentiation strategies on customer satisfaction and management performance in family restaurants. In particular, it aims to identify whether such quality management and differentiation strategy have positive influence on customer satisfaction and perceived customer satisfaction as indicated through management performance. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was applied to a total of 250 customers who experienced family restaurant service in Seoul during the past one year. The model was tested using SPSS 12.0 and visual PLS(partial least squares) programs on a sample of the 198 surveys which showed a 92% usable response rate. The results of empirical analysis showed as follows: 1) quality management has a significant effect on customer satisfaction and differentiation strategies but not significant on management performance. 2) differentiation strategies have a significant effect on customer satisfaction and management performance. 3) customer satisfaction has a significant effect on management performance.

병원정보시스템 품질이 사용자 만족과 서비스혁신 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Hospital Information System Quality on satisfaction of system users and Service Innovation Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 종합병원에서 병원정보시스템 품질요인이 사용자의 만족과 서비스혁신 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 간호사 250명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였으며, 5점 Likert 척도를 사용하여 병원정보시스템 품질, 사용자 만족, 서비스혁신 성과를 측정하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, correlation Regression 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 서비스혁신 성과와 독립변수 간 상관계수는 시스템 품질(r=.644, p<.001), 정보품질(r=.650, p<.001), 서비스품질(r=.629), 사용자 만족(r=.831, p<.001) 으로 유의하였다. 병원정보시스템 품질과 서비스혁신성과에서 사용자 만족이 조절변수로 설명력은 78.4%로, 사용자 만족이 높을수록(B=.557, p<.001) 서비스혁신 성과가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 병원정보시스템의 구축에 있어 시스템 품질과 사용자 위주의 지원 및 서비스의 중요성을 바탕으로 실무적인 함의를 제시하였다.

프로젝트 스폰서 역할과 프로젝트 관리자 역량이 프로젝트 성과 품질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Project Sponsor Roles and Project Manager Competencies on the Project Performance Quality)

  • Purpose: This paper seeks to analyze the relationship between project sponsor roles and project manager competencies which may account for project performance quality. Methods: After an extensive literature review, the structural equation modeling was conducted test the research model. The data was collected from project manager training course attendees by the questionnaire. Results: The results of structural equation modeling show that project sponsor roles effect on project manager competencies. Project manager competencies have a positive effect on project performance quality. Conclusion: The authors demonstrate that project sponsor external roles are related positively to project performance quality. And project manager professionalism has a positive effect on project manager communication. A number of significant findings are reported including the empirical verification that project sponsor roles, and project manager competencies may all be directly related to project performance quality.

울산 야시장 서비스 품질이 감정, 행동의도 및 지역발전성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Quality on Emotions, Behavior Intention and Local Development Performance in the Ulsan Night Market)

  • This study identified the important service quality of the emerging night market as an alternative for the revitalization of the traditional market. This study also was to analyze the effects of service quality on customers' emotions, behavior intention and local performance in night market, and to provide an effective operation plan. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.0 Version, a statistical package program, and various results were discovered. First, all the service quality factors (convenience, food, event program, physical environment) had a positive (+) effect on positive emotion, and the service quality factors except event program had a negative (-) effect on negative emotions. Second, the service quality factors had a partially positive (+) effect on behavior intention and local performance. Third, the positive and negative emotions had a effect on behavior intention, however, the positive emotions had a positive (+) effect on local performance. Consequently, the present study confirmed that service quality in the night market is important factors for emotions, behavior intention, and local performance. Therefore, the findings of this study is capable of being the basic data for revitalizing the traditional market in the future.

교육서비스 품질과 참여의도가 교육성과 향상에 미치는 연구: Action Learning 사례를 중심으로 (The effects of Educational Service Quality and Participation Intention on Educational Performance through a Case of Action Learning)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of educational service quality, participation intention, and educational performance in action learning class. Methods: The proposed research model is tested using structural equation modeling for hypotheses based on the data collected from one of action learning class. Results: The results indicate that educational service quality(reliability, assurance, tangibles, empathy, information accuracy, and relationship quality) positively affects participation intention which in turn improve educational performance, including aspects of before and after class of action learning. In addition, participation intention in classroom positively affects educational performance with both groups. For after class of action learning, the result confirms the effect of responsiveness of educational service quality on participation intention, however, in before class of action learning there is not showed a significant relationship. Conclusion: This study would provide useful information and can be applied to the improvement of educational performance through the participation of students by the instructors and the educational institutes who want to apply the active learning forum in classroom.

수출기업의 혁신활동, 혁신성과, 경영성과 간의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 (A study on the Structural Relationship among Innovation Activity, Innovation Performance, and Business Performance of Export Firms)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among innovation activities, innovation performance, and management performance of export firms. I first undertake a review of previous studies related to innovation activity, innovation performance, and export firms' innovation. Based on this, I set up a research model and hypotheses. First, The innovation activity is classified into product innovation activity, process innovation activity, and administrative innovation activity. Innovation performance is divided into product quality improvement and cost reduction. And the business performance is regarded as financial performance of export's firms. This study examined whether innovation activity affect innovation performance such as product quality improvement and cost reduction. In addition, I examined whether these innovation performance affects business performance (financial performance). To achieve this, a total of 368 questionnaires are used in this study and PLS (Partial Least Square) was used to analyze structural equation. As a result, this study shows that product innovation activity have a positive effect on product quality improvement, and process innovation activity also have a positive effect on product quality improvement. However, it was found that neither product innovation activity nor process innovation activity had an effect on cost reduction. And it was found that administrative innovation did not affect product quality improvement, but had a positive effect on cost reduction. Also, it was found that quality improvement, which is an innovation performance, did not affect the financial performance of export's firms, and cost reduction, which is an innovation performance, had a positive effect on the financial performance of the export's firms.

ERP시스템의 품질요인이 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (Empirical Study on the Effects of Quality Factors of ERP System on Organizational Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 ERP시스템의 품질요인이 조직성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 실증적으로 조사 및 분석하였다. 많은 선행연구들이 일반품질요인에 초점을 두는 대신에 본 연구는 설문지를 사용하여 ERP시스템을 채택한 기업에 있어서 품질요인과 조직성과간의 상호관련성을 조사 연구하였다. 특히 선행연구들은 시스템품질과 정보품질만을 연구대상으로 설정한 것이 주류를 이루고 있는데 본 연구에서는 서비스품질을 추가하여 조직성과와의 관련성을 연구하였다는데 의미가 있다. 설문지는 ERP시스템을 도입한 기업을 대상으로 품질요인과 조직성과간의 관련성의 설문으로 구성된다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ERP시스템의 품질요인이 조직성과에 t검정으로 영향을 미친다는 것이다. 둘째, ERP시스템의 품질요인이 t검정으로 조직성과에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미친다는 것이다. 이 결과는 실무계 및 교육계에 유용한 통찰력과 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대한다. 첫째, ERP시스템을 기업이 도입할 때, 품질요인이 조직성과에 유의적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 사전에 숙지하고 품질요인에 대한 투자와 연구가 행되어야 한다는 것이다. 둘째, 본 연구는 지금까지의 선행연구와는 달리 서비스품질을 추가하여 연구함으로써 품질요인을 세부적으로 접근하였다는데 그 실용가치가 높다고 판단되며, 셋째, 본 연구는 ERP시스템의 품질요인의 질적향상에 대한 학문적 기초를 제공한다.

중국의류산업에서 제조업체와 유통업체간 개인 Guanxi(관계, 關係)와 조직관계가 조직관계의 질 및 유통경로성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Private Guanxi and Organizational Relationship Type on Quality of Relationship and Performance of Distribution Channel -Focused on Apparel Manufactures and Distribution in China-)

  • The purpose of this study was 1) to find effects of private Guanxi and organizational relationship on quality of organizational relationship, 2) to find effects of private Guanxi and organizational relationship on performance of distribution channel, and 3) to also find effects of quality of organizational relationship on performance of distribution channel. Apparel manufacturers and distributors in China participated in the study. Random sampling method was used to collect the data. Data from 173 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. Factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and regression analysis was conducted. Two factors of private Guanxi were classified(i.e., affective Guanxi, instrumental Guanxi). Three factors of organizational relationship type were identified(i.e., opportunistic relationship, cooperative relationship, vertical relationship). The result indicated that affective Guanxi in terms of private Guanxi positively affected on quality of organizational relationship. Cooperative relationship and vertical relationship in terms of organizational relationship positively affected on quality of organizational relationship. Affective Guanxi positively affected on non-financial performance and financial performance in terms of performance of distribution channel. Instrumental Guanxi in terms of private Guanxi positively affected on financial performance only. Cooperative relationship in terms of organizational relationship positively affected on non-financial performance and vertical relationship positively affected on financial performance. Quality of organizational relationship positively affected on non-financial performance and vertical relationship positively affected on financial performance.

Cross-layer Design of Rate and Quality Adaptation Schemes for Wireless Video Streaming

  • Video streaming service over wireless networks is a challenging task because of the changes in the wireless channel conditions that can occur due to interference, fading, and station mobility. To provide an efficient wireless video streaming service, the rate adaptation scheme should improve wireless node performance and channel utilization. Moreover, the quality adaptation scheme should be considered at the streaming application. To meet these requirements, we propose a new cross-layer design for video streaming over wireless networks. This design includes the rate and quality adaptation schemes. The rate adaptation scheme selects the optimal transmission mode and resolves the performance anomaly problem. Based on performance improvement by the proposed rate adaptation scheme, our quality adaptation scheme improves the quality of video streaming. Through performance evaluations, we prove that our cross-layer design improves the wireless channel utilization and the quality of video streaming.
