Methods: We compared and analyzed the approval provisions for qualifying as first aid educators under the School Health Act, the Emergency Medical Services Act, and prior studies of first aid education. Results: The comparison of the studies demonstrated some key points. First, the first aid education of teachers could be improved through the knowledge of professional instructors. Second, the doctors, emergency nurse practitioners, and emergency medical technicians (EMT) were suitable as specialized first aid instructors. Third, for qualifying as first aid instructor, only the EMTs required more than five years of career. Conclusion: We suggest that all emergency medical service providers qualify to become first aid educators. Additionally, the requirement of EMTs to have more than 5 years of career to qualify as an instructor should be eliminated.

  • In this paper, we propose to discover the certification items and to study the content system for SW education instructors, including SW education based on basic teaching-learning capabilities and Computational Thinking(CT). To this end, SW education instructor qualification were divided into three classes using methods such as prior case studies, Delphi surveys, and expert meetings, and the certification evaluation areas were divided into large areas of 'Teaching and Learning Method' and 'Software Education' reflecting primary and secondary curriculum. Sub-areas and content elements for each series were set and verified through expert Delphi survey. Such research is expected to contribute to the spread and dissemination of SW education by being used meaningfully when establishing a system that fosters SW education instructors and maintains and manages the quality of instructors.

  • This study aims to explore alternative strategies for the archival professional training system in response to changing records management environments. It found implications in the training and qualification system for overseas archival professionals and compared and analyzed the qualification system for Korean archival professionals. In addition, by analyzing the archival graduate schools' general status and the instructors' research performance, the study confirmed that many instructors have low academic interest in archival studies and the gap between schools was significant. Based on this, interviews with professors and experts were conducted to gather opinions on improving the archival professional training system. In conclusion, the study presents prerequisite tasks of organizing an archival community governance system and securing self-regulatory power. Moreover, it proposes innovative measures for the archival professional training system with three major tasks: creating graduate education guidelines, establishing a continuing and deepening education system, and transforming educational institutions.

  • Since the MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot License) Program was introduced in Korea in 2009, there has not been a single pilot licensed under the MPL Program. To successfully implement the MPL Program in Korea, it is necessary for an Approved Training Organization to develop the MPL Flight Instructor Training Program and foster excellent MPL Flight Instructors. However, there are no rules or guidelines regarding the MPL Flight Instructor Training Program in Korea. This study suggests the Training Specification for the MPL Flight Instructor, including the training syllabus, training and assessment methods. The MPL Flight Instructor Training Program should be composed of minimum 14-hour academic and practical training, which includes the concept of Competency-Based Training, CRM, Competency, Behavior Indicator and Assessment. To be qualified for the MPL Flight Instructor, candidates need to successfully complete the course and pass the practical test. In order to maintain the qualification, MPL Flight Instructors should comply to recency and recurrent training requirements.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the training quality of Van Lang University's Finance Banking faculty (VLU). Another goal was to discover a way to increase training quality and give students the greatest experience possible. To achieve the following goals, qualitative research was used in combination with questionnaires and document reviews. A total of 700 surveys were sent out, with 624 responses. In-depth interviews with 12 graduates were conducted during the qualitative stage to obtain their perspectives on their time at VLU. The impact of five factors (instructor qualification, facility, education program, accessibility, and student interaction) was investigated in this study, and the findings revealed that all of them significantly mediated the relationship with the training quality of VLU's Finance Banking faculty. The findings show that it is vital to improve the training quality to increase student satisfaction and boost their academic abilities. With the framework from this study, policymakers, researchers, and institutes can cooperate in developing and upgrading the general training quality at higher education institutions in Vietnam. Improving the training quality of a faculty will continue to be a challenge. Therefore, this is a topic that requires continuous research.
