  • In this paper, we define twisted q-Euler polynomials of the second kind and explore some properties. We find generating function of twisted q-Euler polynomials of the second kind. Also, we investigate twisted q-Raabe's multiplication formula and (w, q)-alternating power sums of twisted q-Euler polynomials of the second kind. At the end, we define twisted q-Hurwitz's type Euler zeta function of the second kind.

  • In this letter we present a generic Craig form for the two-dimensional (2-D) Gaussian Q-function. The presented Craig form provides an alternative solution to the problems of computing probabilities involving a form of the 2-D Gaussian Q-function.

  • In this paper, we consider the differential equation $$F^{\prime}-Q_1=Re^{\alpha}(F-Q_2)$$, where $Q_1$ and $Q_2$ are polynomials with $Q_1Q_2{\neq}0$, R is a rational function and ${\alpha}$ is an entire function. We consider solutions of the form $F=f^n$, where f is an entire function and $n{\geq}2$ is an integer, and we prove that if f is a transcendental entire function, then $\frac{Q_1}{Q_2}$ is a polynomial and $f^{\prime}=\frac{Q_1}{nQ_2}f$. This theorem improves some known results and answers an open question raised in [16].

  • Let $k={\mathbb{F}}_q(T)$ and ${\mathbb{A}}={\mathbb{F}}_q[T]$. Fix a prime divisor ${\ell}$ q-1. In this paper, we consider a ${\ell}$-cyclic real function field $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]P)$ as a subfield of the imaginary bicyclic function field K = $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]P,\;(\sqrt[{\ell}]{-Q})$, which is a composite field of $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]P)$ wit a ${\ell}$-cyclic totally imaginary function field $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]{-Q})$ of class number one. und give various conditions for the class number of $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]{P})$ to be one by using invariants of the relatively cyclic unramified extensions $K/F_i$ over ${\ell}$-cyclic totally imaginary function field $F_i=k(\sqrt[{\ell}]{-P^iQ})$ for $1{\leq}i{\leq}{\ell}-1$.

  • Let $\mu$ be a positive Borel measure on $R^n$ which is positive on cubes. For any cube $Q \subset R^n$, a Borel measurable nonnegative function $\varphi_Q$, supported and positive a.e. with respect to $\mu$ in Q, is given. We consider a maximal function $$ M_{\mu}f(x) = sup \int \varphi Q$\mid$f$\mid$d_{\mu} $$ where the supremum is taken over all $\varphi Q$ such that $x \in Q$.

  • In this paper, let q ∈ (0, 1]. We establish the boundedness of intrinsic g-functions from the Hardy-Lorentz spaces with variable exponent Hp(·),q(ℝn) into Lorentz spaces with variable exponent Lp(·),q(ℝn). Then, for any q ∈ (0, 1], via some estimates on a discrete Littlewood-Paley g-function and a Peetre-type maximal function, we obtain several equivalent characterizations of Hp(·),q(ℝn) in terms of wavelets.

  • In this paper, we present a new and simple derivation of the Craig representation for the two-dimensional (2-D) Gaussian Q-function in the viewpoint of geometry. The geometric derivation also leads to an alternative Craig form for the 2-D Gaussian Q-function. The derived Craig form is newly obtained from the geometry of two wedge-shaped regions generated by the rotation of Cartesian coordinates over two correlated Gaussian noises. The presented Craig form can play a important role in computing the probability represented by the 2-D Gaussian Q-function.

  • The main aim of this paper is to prove some results related to the growth rates of composite entire and meromorphic functions on the basis of their relative (p, q)-th order, relative (p, q)-th lower order, relative (p, q)-th type and relative (p, q)-th weak type where p and q are any two positive integers.

  • In this paper, we introduce various first order (p, q)-difference equations. We investigate solutions to equations which are linear (p, q)-difference equations and nonlinear (p, q)-difference equations. We also find some properties of (p, q)-calculus, exponential functions, and inverse function.

  • Reinforcement learning learns policies for accomplishing a task's goal by experience through interaction between agent and environment. Q-learning, basis algorithm of reinforcement learning, has the problem of curse of dimensionality and slow learning speed in the incipient stage of learning. In order to solve the problems of Q-learning, new function approximation methods suitable for reinforcement learning should be studied. In this paper, to improve these problems, we suggest Fuzzy Q-Map algorithm that is based on online fuzzy clustering. Fuzzy Q-Map is a function approximation method suitable to reinforcement learning that can do on-line teaming and express uncertainty of environment. We made an experiment on the mountain car problem with fuzzy Q-Map, and its results show that learning speed is accelerated in the incipient stage of learning.
