A nonlinear robust guidance law is designed for missiles against a maneuvering target by incorporating sliding-mode and optimal control theories based on the state dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) to achieve robustness against target accelerations. The guidance law is derived based on three-dimensional nonlinear engagement kinematics and its robustness against disturbances is proved by the second method of Lyapunov. A new switching surface is considered in the sliding-mode control design. The proposed guidance law requires the maximum value of the target maneuver, and therefore opposed to the conventional augmented proportional navigation guidance (APNG) law, complete information about the target maneuver is not necessary, and hence it is simple to implement in practical applications. Considering different types of target maneuvers, several scenario simulations are performed. Simulation results confirm that the proposed guidance law has much better robustness, faster convergence, and smaller final time and control effort in comparison to the sliding-mode guidance (SMG) and APNG laws.

A practical recursive WLS (weighted least squares) algorithm is proposed to estimate relative range using LOS (line-of-sight) information for ASM (anti-ship missile) application. Apart from the previous approaches based on the EKF (extended Kalman filter), to ensure good convergence properties in long range engagement situations, the proposed scheme utilizes LOS rate measurements instead of conventionally used LOS angle measurements. The estimation error property for the proposed filter is investigated and a simple error compensator is devised to enhance its estimation error performances. Simulation results indicate that the proposed filter produces very accurate range estimates with extremely small computations.
The ultimate goal of career guidance is to help medical students develop a career plan that matches their personal characteristics, allows them to train in their desired subspecialty, and helps them to adapt well to medical practice after graduation. Gachon Medical School has designed a longitudinal career guidance program called GLORI (Gachon Longitudinal Orientation and Career Development), which is based on the outcome of each phase. The program consists of regular courses and portfolio-based career guidance from a mentor professor. In phase 2 (basic medical science), the "Career Seminar" course was developed. This course focuses on self-understanding through a psychological inventory, exploration of postgraduate career paths, and interviews with professors in specialties of interest. In phase 3 (the integration of basic and clinical science), the "Exploring Nonclinical Career Options" course was introduced. This course presents perspectives from doctors who have followed various pioneering career trajectories, including biomedical engineering, medical journalism, writing, public health, health care administration, the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, and other areas. All teaching methods were designed to encourage student participation. The assessment methods are assignment-based, including self-reflective reports and presentations. In addition, a portfolio-based career guidance program is implemented in phases 3 and 4 (clinical clerkship). It is expected that this case study will serve as a practical example for developing comprehensive career guidance programs for medical schools.
A practical filter is suggested for ground-Dasea missile tracking in a capture guidance mode, utilizing angle-only measurements from a passive sensor and its performance is evaluated by a realistic system simulation study. Also suggested is a missile acceleration model that provides inputs to the filter. The suggested filter has a decoupled structure of independent azimuth and elevation channels with efficiency in commutation time and memory requirements.
This study examines a systematic and effective approach to career guidance in medical education, with a particular focus on the 6-year integrated career guidance education framework implemented at the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. Based on the "New SLICE" educational development principles, this framework comprehensively addresses the needs of medical students in career planning and development. It is structured into three phases: understanding yourself, exploring options, and choosing a specialty. The first phase, understanding yourself, helps students to recognize their strengths, weaknesses, aptitudes, and potentials, thereby setting the direction for future career choices. This phase includes various psychological tests and Self-Development and Portfolio courses. The second phase, exploring options, enables students to engage in related activities such as research and practical training, providing direct and indirect experiences across various fields. This phase offers courses including Medical Field Experience, Career Guidance through the Learning Community & Advisory Professors, and Student Participation in Professor Research Projects. The final phase, choosing a specialty, involves students making decisions based on in-depth self-assessment and exploration of majors, with a capstone project being a significant component. Maximizing the efficiency of career decision-making requires integration between the basic medical curriculum and postgraduate education. Including the period up to residency entrance in the framework is necessary for effective career guidance education.

The purpose of this study was to explore pre-physical education teachers' subjective perception on the athletics practical skill test of examination system for appointment secondary physical education teachers using Q-methodology. This study found three types of pre-teachers' subjective perception on the system. Type I is named 'the type of specialized facility support demand', Type II is named 'the type of professional technical guidance demand'. Type III is named 'the type of evaluation method improvement demand' In conclusion, the pre-physical education teachers hoped for the support of specialized facilities, the opportunity to receive professional skills, and the detailed preliminary guidance on evaluation methods and procedures.

In MSC $95^{th}$ commitee, the Guideline on software quality assurance and human-centred design for e-navigation was approved as a circular. After that, the practical guidance to apply the guidance for marine-industry is developing. This guidance presents detailed actions which is done with the software development life-cycle and it provides templates of basic outcomes of the detailed actions. In April 2015, the "e-navigation SQA and HCD Guideline Workshop 2015" was held. There was discussions about the improvement and application plans of the guideline. Also, various opinions of marine-industry about IMO SQA were gathered and how to apply to the marine-industry with harmonization of SQA and HCD was discussed. This paper subscribes the future work to improve the guideline discussed on the workshop.
In this paper, we design and implement a real-time route guidance system(RGS) in large-scale networks. Coupled with the well-known mathematical routing algorithms, we devise an RGS for knowledge aquisition and self-learning ability within the framework of the expert system. Through off-line construction of database, on-line treatment of unexpected traffic accidents, etc., the developed RGS can provide drivers with good quality real-time routing information. The practical effectiveness of the proposed system is demonstrated in terms of response time and route appropriateness.

This paper proposes an optimal dynamic resource allocation method in IoT (Internet of Things) parking guidance system using Q-learning resource allocation model. In the proposed method, a resource allocation using a forecasting model based on Q-learning is employed for optimal utilization of parking guidance system. To demonstrate efficiency and availability of the proposed method, it is verified by computer simulation and practical testbed. Through simulation results, this paper proves that the proposed method can enhance total throughput, decrease penalty fee issued by SLA (Service Level Agreement) and reduce response time with the dynamic number of users.

This paper deals with the path-following control for marine surface vehicles with underactuated characteristics. In consideration of practical limitations of actuators, an improved DVS(dynamic virtual ship) guidance algorithm is proposed with the multi-level DVS optionally selected to be tracked. To address the output-feedback control issue, an adaptive FLS(fuzzy logical systems) is devised to online approximate the kinematic states. Based on that observing framework, the path-following control law is thereafter derived. Simulations testify effectiveness of the proposed scheme
