In this study, the computer code for the optimal design of road tunnel ventilation system based on one-dimensional analysis of the air flow was developed. The control volume method was used to calculate the air velocities and the concentration distribution of pollutants(CO, NOx, Particulate) for various tunnel ventilation system. This code was validated by comparing the calculation results to the practical design data for the road tunnel ventilation system. The calculation results were in accord with the practical design data.

In this thesis, fracture tests were carried out in order to investigate the flexural strength behavior of FRC(fiber reinforced concrete) structures. FRC beams were used in the tests, the initial crack load and the ultimate load of the beams were observed under the static loading. According to the results, the ultimate loads increase with the fiber content, and these tendency is clear in the specimens with large fiber aspect ratio. From the results of the regression analysis, practical formulae for predicting the flexural strength of FRC were suggested.

This study presents a method of realizing the theoretical results of Demyanov in practice on a computer in order to produce a kind of constructive evidence for his theory and a practical method of getting numerical results for quasi-differentiab1e optimization problems which may arise in industry and science. A practical result for a restricted nondifferentiable optimization problem is experimented with a simle example.

This research was designed to compare the subjective evaluation of texture image and preference between offline and online by structural characteristics of women' jacket fabrics for spring and summer. 78 participants evaluated the sensibility image and preference of various fabrics. The data were analysed by factor analysis, t-test, Pearson's productive correlation, regression, and multi dimensional scale. The results were as follows: Sensibility image factors of women' jacket fabrics were 'classic' 'sophisticated' 'natural' 'characteristic' and 'practical'. Between offline and online, sensibility images showed no differences. In sensibility images, 'classic'-'sophisticated', 'natural'-'practical', and 'practical'-'characteristic' images showed significant correlation. By analyzing the contribution of fabric structure on sensibility images, density affected on the 'classic' image offline and online. By the results of regression analysis, thickness, density and weave affected on the tactile preference. In sensibility images, 'classic', 'sophisticated' 'characteristic' images were the influencing factor. 'Sophisticated', 'natural', 'characteristic' and 'practical' images affected on the purchase preference.

The current research aims to verify whether distance learning can be adopted in practical cooking class for Korean foods in a two-year college. The distance learning education can be a supplementary method to the traditional cooking class. The face-to-face teaching method and the distance learning method were compared in order to determine which of the one is more effective teaching method in the practical cooking class. The results of the present experimental study were analyzed based on the participant's learning expectation and satisfaction, the evaluation of the experimental process, and the academic performance. The results of this study showed that the participants in the face-to-face class evaluated their class experience higher than those in the distance learning class with respect to the participant's learning expectation and satisfaction, and the evaluation of the experimental process. On the contrary, regarding the academic performance, the participants in the distance learning class showed higher scores than those in the face-to-face class. The end result supports the claim that the distance learning method is more effective in the participants for gaining cooking knowledge.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the Influences on practical intention of Breast Self-Examination (BSE) in high school girls' knowledge and attitude about BSE. Methods: The participants were 208 high school girls from D city. Data were collected from August 7, to August 9 in 2013 by a questionnaire. Data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 19.0 using ANOVA, one sample t-test, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The factors influencing the practical intention of BSE were attitude (${\beta}=.370$) and knowledge (${\beta}=.138$). The explanatory power of this model was 16.7%. Conclusions: The results of this study revealed that knowledge and positive attitude of BSE influenced on the practical intention of BSE. Therefore, It is needed to develop the education program to obtain the knowledge and positive attitude of BSE for high school girls.

The purpose of this study was to analyze two subject competencies (practical problem-solving capability and independent life capability) reflected in the activity tasks included in the 'home life and safety' area of 12 middle school technology-home economics textbooks in accordance with the 2015 revised curriculum. The analysis criteria were sub-elements of two subject competencies. Seven sub-elements were derived from each competency. Frequency analysis was performed to determine how often the sub-elements were reflected in the activity tasks. The results were as follows. First, with regard to the sub-elements of 'practical problem-solving capability', 'value judgment' was reflected most frequently in the activity tasks followed by 'exemplification of solution', 'logical thinking', 'critical thinking', 'decision-making', 'practical reasoning', and 'evaluation of solutions'. Secondly, the sub-elements of 'independent life capability' were unevenly distributed in the activity tasks. The 'capability to perform conscious living' was reflected most frequently followed by 'development and self-identity', 'time, money, and leisure management', and 'reasonable consumption and resource utilization'. For teachers wanting to teach activity-oriented classes and student participatory classes, the results pinpoint the materials necessary to develop learners' subject competencies by using textbooks from different publishing companies.

In this paper, a practical design criteria for judgement of crack occurrence in weldments is presented as a function of typical welding parameters, such as diffusible hydrogen, restraint intensity, and preheating temperature. The elastic analyses using the finite element techniques are employed in order to quantify the restraint intensities, numerically. Systematic experiments are also conducted in order to investigate the propensity of crack to typical welding parameters. The results of numerical estimation using the proposed method for the experimental specimens show the usefulness as a practical tool in welding induced crack problems with extensive uncertainties. The computer programs of effective horsepower estimation of small fishing boat were developed, which was based on the statistical analysis of model test results. From the EHP estimation by these program and experimental model tests of practical fishing boats, the estimation accuracy was verified with maximum deviation of about 10 percent. Also, the EHP estimation accuracy was practically applied to initial design of four small fishing boats, and after the tank tests, the EHP reduction of the order of 15 to 25 percent was confirmed, as compared with existing ships. Moreover, a computer aided design procedure of fishing boat's hull form has been proposed in this study. The practical use of this procedure of fishing boat's hull form has been proposed in this study. The practical use of this procedure was demonstrated with the hull form design results of several fishing boats.

This research proposed the necessary capability of cyber security professional personnel for cyber security education and training. Cyber security professional personnel were required specialized capability because the curriculum of cyber security education and training is structured around practice and training. Based on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of professors, we derive candidate capabilities and index through the results of precedent research. As a result, we derived capability such the candidate capability group as teaching qualification, expert knowledge, practical ability, lecture ability, and research ability, and detailed capability index was derived accordingly. Finally, based on the questionnaire results of the professors related to the information security, it was determined that the capability required for the cyber security education and training professional personnel were expert knowledge, practical ability, and lecture ability. Among the capabilities, executive ability means that they have to fulfil abundant executive experience due to the high proportion of practical training due to the characteristics of cyber security education and training.
