  • Denote $M_n$ the maximum of n independent and identically distributed variables from the generalized short-tailed symmetric distribution. This paper shows the pointwise convergence rate of the distribution of $M_n$ to exp($\exp(-e^{-x})$) and the supremum-metric-based convergence rate as well.

  • In this paper, we present some general results on the pointwise convergence of the non-convolution type nonlinear singular integral operators in the following form: $$T_{\lambda}(f;x)={\large\int_{\Omega}}K_{\lambda}(t,x,f(t))dt,\;x{\in}{\Psi},\;{\lambda}{\in}{\Lambda}$$, where ${\Psi}$ = and ${\Omega}$ = stand for arbitrary closed, semi-closed or open bounded intervals in ${\mathbb{R}}$ or these set notations denote $\mathbb{R}$, and ${\Lambda}$ is a set of non-negative numbers, to the function $f{\in}L_{p,{\omega}}({\Omega})$, where $L_{p,{\omega}}({\Omega})$ denotes the space of all measurable functions f for which $\|{\frac{f}{\omega}}\|^p$ (1 ${\leq}$ p < ${\infty}$) is integrable on ${\Omega}$, and ${\omega}:{\mathbb{R}}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}^+$ is a weight function satisfying some conditions.

  • In the present paper we shall prove that on a foundation *-semigroup S with an identity and with a locally bounded Borel measurable weight function ${\omega}$, the pointwise convergence and the uniform convergence of a sequence of ${\omega}$-bounded exponentially convex functions on S which are also continuous at the identity are equivalent.

  • In this paper we introduce the integral type Lupas-$B{\acute{e}}zier$ operator $\tilde{B}_{n,{\alpha}}$, which is a new approximation operator of probabilistic type. We study the rate of pointwise convergence of the operators $\tilde{B}_{n,{\alpha}}$ for local bounded functions and get an asymptotically estimate by means of some methods and techniques of probability theory.

  • In this paper, we introduce a Stancu type generalization of genuine LupaŞ-Beta operators of integral type. We establish some moment estimates and the direct results in terms of classical modulus of continuity, Voronovskaja-type asymptotic theorem, weighted approximation, rate of convergence and pointwise estimates using the Lipschitz type maximal function. Lastly, we propose a king type modification of these operators to obtain better estimates.

  • In this article we continue the study of smooth Picard singular integral operators that started in [2], see there chapters 10-14. This time the foundation of our research is a trigonometric Taylor's formula. We establish the convergence of our operators to the unit operator with rates via Jackson type inequalities engaging the first modulus of continuity. Of interest here is a residual appearing term. Note that our operators are not positive. Our results are pointwise and uniform.

  • The present study determined new value that can be created through the convergence between artificial intelligence technology (AIT) and all industries by deriving and thoroughly analyzing major issues related to artificial intelligence (AI). This study analyzes domestic articles related to AI using topic modeling method based on LDA algorithm. Keywords were extracted from 3,889 articles of eleven metropolitan newspapers, eight business newspapers and major broadcasting companies; articles were selected by searching for the keyword "artificial intelligence". Keywords were extracted by optimizing the relevance parameter λ to improve the measure of pointwise mutual information (PMI), which shows the association among the keywords of each topic, and topic names were inferred from keywords based on valid evidence. The extracted topics widely showed changes occurring throughout society, economy, industries, culture, and the support policy and vision of the government.
