Evolving the Cybersecurity of Clinical Photography in Plastic Surgery

  • Point-of-care photography and photo sharing optimize patient outcomes and facilitate remote consultation imperative for resident surgeons. This literature review and external pilot survey study highlight the risks associated with current practices concerning patient privacy and biometric security. In a survey of 30 plastic surgeon residents and attendings, we found that the majority took photos of patients with their iPhones and shared them with colleagues via Apple iMessage. These findings corroborate previous reports and highlight a lack of physician user acceptance of secure photo-sharing platforms. Finally, we frame a successful example from the literature in the context of a postulated framework for institutional change. Prioritizing the privacy and safety of patients requires a strategic approach that preserves the ease and frequency of use of current practices.

온라인 쇼핑몰에서의 리뷰 속성이 브랜드 태도, 구매결정 및 온라인 구전의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Review Attributes on Brand Attitude, Purchase Decision and e-WOM Intention in Online Shopping Mall)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 쇼핑몰에서 리뷰의 속성을 평점, 댓글의 양 및 이미지정보로 분류하여 브랜드 태도와 구매결정 및 온라인 구전의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 리뷰 속성이 브랜드 태도, 구매결정 및 온라인 구전의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었으나 댓글의 양은 구매결정에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 브랜드 태도는 구매결정에, 온라인 구전의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 더불어 평점, 이미지정보와 구매결정 간의 영향관계에서, 또한 리뷰 속성과 온라인 구전의도 간의 영향관계에서 브랜드 태도의 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 소비자가 무조건 댓글의 양이 많은 것을 선호하지 않으며, 리뷰를 작성할 때 최대한 높은 평점과 포토후기에 초점을 맞출 수 있도록 해야 함을 시사한다.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare and analysis researches related the promising career and job outlook and to provide the direction for job choice to engineering students. Literature review and expert council were used to achieve the objectives of study. The result of this study was analyzed that these jobs were promising, that is, environmental scientist and specialist, earth scientist and hydrologist(education and research related career), architecture and architectural engineer, civil engineer, landscape technician, land surveyor map production expert photo surveyor surveying technician(construction related career), material engineer (mechanics and material related career), mine and geology engineer(chemistry, fiber and environment related career), computer system design and analyst, system software engineer, application software engineer, web specialist, and computer support specialist (electrical and telecommunication related career) and food engineer(food related career). In addition, health silver specialist, bio biomedical engineer, renewable energy specialist etc. were promising by considering social and economic trend for demographic change like aging and green growth.

미세 전해가공 기술 동향 (Review of Micro Electro-Chemical Machining)

  • Micro machining technologies have been required to satisfy various conditions in a high-technology industry. Micro electrochemical process is one of the most precision machining methods. Micro electrochemical process has been divided into electrochemical etching through protective layer and electrochemical machining using ultrashort voltage pulses. Micro shaft can be fabricated by electrochemical etching. The various protective layers such as photo-resist, oxide layer and oxidized recast layer have been used to protect metal surface during electrochemical etching. Micro patterning on metal surface can be machined by electrochemical etching through protective layer. Micro hole, groove and structures can be easily machined by electrochemical machining using ultrashort voltage pulses. Recently, the groove with subnanometer was machined using AFM.

핵의학 영상기기의 감마선 검출기 (Gamma-ray Detectors for Nuclear Medical Imaging Instruments)

  • In this review paper, basic configurations of gamma detectors in SPECT and PET systems were reviewed together with key performance parameters of the imaging system, such as the detection efficiency, the spatial resolution, the contrast resolution, and the data acquisition time for quick understanding of the system-component relationship and future design of advanced systems. Also key elements of SPECT and PET detectors, such as collimators, gamma detectors were discussed in conjunction with their current and future trend. Especially development trend of new scintillation crystals, innovative silicon-based photo-sensors and futuristic room-temperature semiconductor detectors were reviewed for researchers who are interested in the development of future nuclear medical imaging instruments.

A review of zinc oxide photoanode films for dye-sensitized solar cells based on zinc oxide nanostructures

  • Zinc oxide (ZnO) is a unique semiconductor material that exhibits numerous useful properties for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and other applications. Various thin-film growth techniques have been used to produce nanowires, nanorods, nanotubes, nanotips, nanosheets, nanobelts and terapods of ZnO. These unique nanostructures unambiguously demonstrate that ZnO probably has the richest family of nanostructures among all materials, both in structures and in properties. The nanostructures could have novel applications in solar cells, optoelectronics, sensors, transducers and biomedical sciences. This article reviews the various nanostructures of ZnO grown by various techniques and their application in DSSCs. The application of ZnO nanowires, nanorods in DSSCs became outstanding, providing a direct pathway to the anode for photo-generated electrons thereby suppressing carrier recombination. This is a novel characteristic which increases the efficiency of ZnO based dye-sensitized solar cells.

Recent Trends of Light-enhanced Metal Oxide Gas Sensors: Review

  • Recent light-enhanced metal oxide gas sensors are reviewed in this article. The basic mechanisms of a light-enhanced metal oxide gas sensor are discussed. Many literatures reveal that the standalone sensitivity and the response/recovery time enhancements enabled by the exposing light are not as high as the performance enhancement provided by external heating. Therefore, both optimal amount of external heating and exposed light intensity are necessary to increase the performance of these light-enhanced gas sensors. The development of highly light sensitive materials and structures is important to lower the overall power consumptions of the sensors.

  • One of the most abundant microalgaes, diatom is characterized by its unique cell wall structures composed of nano-patterned silica. Due to its highly ordered porosity, these silica frustules, which are found as sediments called diatomite, were used as a cheap adsorption material for water purification. Recently, new emerging nanotechnology compels many researchers to have interest in such diatom's unique properties (eg, nano-scale mesoporosity, photo luminescence, light transparency, etc.) as biogenic inorganic materials as well as the biomass resource (conventional usage of microalgae). In this review, we will focus on the current knowledge about the diatoms research and the possibility of its applications.

  • 인터넷 쇼핑몰, 오프라인 매장에서 구입한 제품의 포토 리뷰를 블로그, 쇼핑몰에 올릴 때 얼굴 노출을 꺼려하여 직접 사진 처리 프로그램 등을 통해 얼굴을 가리거나 사진을 얼굴 부분까지 잘라 내는 등의 번거로운 작업을 거친 후 올리게 된다. 위와 같은 불편함을 해결하기 위해 쇼핑몰, 블로그 등 인터넷 매체를 통해 포토 리뷰를 작성 할 때 얼굴이 포함된 사진을 올리더라도 자동으로 얼굴 인식 후 의상에 어울리는 소품을 합성하여 구매자가 포토 리뷰를 올리기 편한 환경을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기본적인 얼굴 추적과 얼굴 특징 점을 기반으로 한 안경과 같은 소품 합성 등이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 실시간으로 얼굴 및 특징점을 추출하고 이를 기반으로 얼굴에 소품을 합성하는 기본 기능을 구현하였다.

Carbon Doping of TiO2 for Visible Light Photo Catalysis - A review

  • The field of photocatalysis is one of the fastest growing areas both in research and commercial fields. Titanium dioxide is the most investigated semi-conductor material for the photocatalysis applications. Research to achieve $TiO_2$ visible light activation has drawn enormous attentions because of its potential to use solar light. This paper reviews the attempts made to extend its visible photocatalytic activity by carbon doping. Various approaches adopted to incorporate carbon to $TiO_2$ are summarized highlighting the major developments in this active research field. Theoretical features on carbon doping are also presented. Future scenario in the rapidly developing and exciting area is outlined for practical applications with solar light.
