  • Cloud storage service has the potential to be a core infrastructure for the future mobile and Internet service; thus related service providers have been investing in it and trying to attract as many users as possible. In addition, those need to find out what motivates the users to keep using their service not only to attract new customers but also to secure their subscribers. Therefore, this study will examine its relationship with user's motivation based on the extended TAM model with external variables for objective research about continuous use of cloud storage service. As a result, it was found that personal innovativeness, self efficacy, functional attributes, and psychological switching cost influence the continuous use of cloud storage service. Also, it is expected they can guide service providers to the right track when setting up their business strategy in the future.

Design of Searchable Image Encryption System of Streaming Media based on Cloud Computing (클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 스트리밍 미디어의 검색 가능 이미지 암호 시스템의 설계)

  • In this paper, we design searchable image encryption system to provide the privacy and authentication on streaming media based on cloud computing. The searchable encryption system is the matrix of searchable image encryption system by extending the streaming search from text search, the search of the streaming service is available, and supports personal privacy and authentication using encryption/decryption and CBIR technique. In simple simulation of post-cut and image keyword creation, we can verify the possibilities of the searchable image encryption system based on streaming service.

  • Desktop is offered to each individual in Educational environments of school or academy, as the users are increasing, the more Desktop is required for each person. Huge Desktop accession resulted in many problems including difficulty of management, Software and Hardware cost rising, cramped places, power consumption increasing and etc. To solve those problems, we focus into uprising technology solution, such as Multi Computer, Desktop Virtualization, and DaaS(Desktop as a Service). In this paper, existing problems that can dramatically improve the private cloud computing for desktop virtualization with the requirements of the system were analyzed.

  • Recently, rapid innovation of Smartphone is changing the paradigm of our daily life. Smartphone users, opinion experts more than 99 percent of the economically active population is using, it has reached the saturation past the early stages of formation. Smartphone is equipped with a general purpose OS possible the implementation of high performance environment similar level as a personal computer. Thus, it is a mobile communication terminal scalable which can be removed or installed various applications. Such extensibility, it is possible to use different applications through the Apps store. Also, it is also possible various services which are location based service. In this research, we aim to analyze factors influencing of cloud computing service on reusing intention of smartphone. In addition, we aim to analyze the causal relationship from perceived value to reusing intention. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications based on the results.

  • Recently, the research on database outsourcing has been actively done with the popularity of cloud computing. However, because users' data may contain sensitive personal information, such as health, financial and location information, the data encryption methods have attracted much interest. Existing data encryption schemes process a query without decrypting the encrypted databases in order to support user privacy protection. On the other hand, to efficiently handle the large amount of data in cloud computing, it is necessary to study the distributed index structure. However, existing index structure and query processing algorithms have a limitation that they only consider single-column query processing. In this paper, we propose a grid-based multi column indexing scheme and an encrypted query processing algorithm. In order to support multi-column query processing, the multi-dimensional index keys are generated by using a space decomposition method, i.e. grid index. To support encrypted query processing over encrypted data, we adopt the Hilbert curve when generating a index key. Finally, we prove that the proposed scheme is more efficient than existing scheme for processing the exact and range query.

  • Precision Medicine, which utilizes personal health information, genetic information, clinical information, etc., is growing as the next-generation medical industry. In Korea, medical institutions and information communication companies have coll aborated to provide cloud-based Precision Medicine Hospital Information Systems (P-HIS) to about 90 primary medical ins titutions over the past five years, and plan to continue promoting and expanding it to primary and secondary medical insti tutions for the next four years. Precision medicine is directly related to human health and life, making information protecti on and healthcare information protection very important. Therefore, this paper analyzes the preliminary research on inform ation protection models that can be utilized in cloud-based Precision Medicine Hospital Information Systems and ultimately proposes research on ways to improve information protection in P-HIS.

  • Recently, developments in the various fields of cloud computing technology has been utilized. Whereas the demand for cloud computing services is increasing, security threats are also increasing in the cloud computing environments. Especially, in case when the hosts interconnected in the cloud environments are infected and propagated through the attacks by malware. It can have an effect on the resource of other hosts and other security threats such as personal information can be spreaded and data deletion. Therefore, the study of malware analysis to respond these security threats has been proceeded actively. This paper proposes a type of attack clustering method of Zeus botnet using the k-means clustering algorithm for malware analysis that occurs in the cloud environments. By clustering the malicious activity by a type of the Zeus botnet occurred in the cloud environments. it is possible to determine whether it is a malware or not. In the future, it sets a goal of responding to an attack of the new type of Zeus botnet that may occur in the cloud environments.

Impacts of Perceived Value and Trust on Intention to Continue Use of Individuals' Cloud Computing: The Perception of Value-based Adoption Model (클라우드 컴퓨팅의 지각된 가치와 신뢰가 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향: 가치기반수용모델을 기반으로)

  • Cloud computing is getting a lot of attention by many people and businesses due to IT environmental changes such as the proliferation of smart devices, the increase of digital data, and the cost of IT resources. More individuals use personal cloud computing services for storing and managing information and data. Therefore, this study proposed determinants that are expected to have an influence on evaluating the value of cloud computing based on the value-based adoption model, examining the relationship between the continuous use intention of cloud computing. Results of the study show that usefulness, convenience of information access, extensibility had a positive impact on perceived value while privacy concerns and costs had a negative impact on perceived value. In addition, perceived value was found to have a significant effect on the intention to continue use of cloud computing. Finally, trust was found to have a significant effect on the perceived value and the intention to continue use of cloud computing. The findings are expected to provide useful information for understanding the factors that individual users consider important in the steadily growing cloud computing market.

  • 스마트폰 등 모바일 단말기의 보급이 확산되면서 퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 이용한 개인화된 서비스에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅 장점과 문제점인 기업의 기술과 서비스의 독점 및 종속성에 대한 문제점과 함께 보안 문제도 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 퍼스널 클라우드에서의 보안 위협들을 살펴보고 보안 위협으로부터 대응을 위한 퍼스널 클라우드 보안 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 이는 향후 퍼스널 클라우드 서비스 제공 시 안전한 인프라를 설계하고 구현하는데 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.
