새로운 유형의 컴퓨터의 시장실패 요인에 관한 구조적 연구 : 소비자의 넷북 미수용을 중심으로 (A Structural Study on the Factors of Market Failure of New-type Computer : Focusing on the Netbook Unaccepted by Customer)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존에 존재하는 제품을 대체하고 보완하는 기능을 가진 새로운 유형의 컴퓨터가 시장에서 받아들여지지 않아 실패하는 요인을 연구하였다. 제품실패의 원인을 소비자가 제품의 가치를 부정적으로 지각하는 것에 두고, 가치 지각에 영향을 주는 요인들을 소비자가 제품을 사용하여 얻게 되는 혜택과 제품을 사용하는데 소요되는 비용으로 구분하여 영향관계를 파악하였다. 넷북을 대상으로 실증 연구한 결과 소비자가 신제품의 가치에 대해 부정적으로 지각하는 것은 사용의도에 부정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 소비자가 새로운 유형의 컴퓨터에 대해 지각하는 비용은 신제품의 가치를 부정적으로 지각하는데 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 소비자가 새로운 유형의 컴퓨터에 대해 혜택을 부정적으로 지각하더라도 이는 가치를 부정적으로 지각하는데 영향을 미치지 않았다.

  • The convenience and flexibility due to the spread of Internet allowed consumers to easily participate in marketing activity. Consumers want to participate in designing, manufacturing, delivering of products and service by expressing their opinions to the companies because they want to buy customized goods where their requirements are incorporated. We can expect that, through this interactive process of customization between consumers and companies, strong relationship quality may be built as a result of the interaction. The main purpose of this study is to examine the influence of consumer perception of customization on relationship quality in the e-business context. To accomplish this purpose, I reviewed the concept of customization, identified the perceptive factors of customization in e-business context (i.e., perception of participation level, assessment of flexibility), and examined the type of customization. Whether customization type generates varying degrees of perception of customization and relationship quality is revealed. As a result, collaborative product/service customization generated the highest relationship quality. Assembled product customization that was built based only on predicted consumer needs without any interaction between consumer and company showed a low level of relationship quality. And this type had no significant difference from standardized products. In short, there is a strong need for e-business companies to interact with consumers to improve relationship quality.

대학생들의 다문화 사회에 대한 주관적 인식 연구 (A Study on University Students' Subjective Perception of Multicultural Society)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들의 다문화 사회에 대한 주관적 인식을 유형화하고, 유형별 특성과 차이점을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 Q방법론을 활용하였으며, 대학생 31명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 대학생들의 다문화 사회에 대한 인식유형은 네 가지로 도출되었다. 1유형은 '적극적 수용형' 으로 다문화 사회에 대해 긍정적, 적극적으로 수용하는 유형이며, 2유형은 '자국민 우선형'으로 이주민보다는 우리나라 국민을 우선시하는 유형으로 나타났다. 3유형은 '합리적 수용형'으로 합리적, 합법적인 범위 내에서 다문화를 수용하며, 4유형은 '제한적 수용형'으로 이주민을 제한적으로 받아들여야 한다고 인식하는 유형이다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 다문화 사회의 구현에 필요한 시사점을 도출하였다.

여자간호사가 인식하는 남자간호사의 유형 및 특성 : Q 방법론적 접근 (The Types and Characteristics of the Male Nurses Perceived by Female Nurses : An Application of Q- Methodology)

  • 본 연구는 인간의 주관성을 탐구할 수 있는 Q 방법론을 이용하여 여자간호사가 인식하는 남자간호사의 유형과 특성을 확인하고자 수행하였다. 35명의 P 표본에게 35개의 Q 표본을 9점 척도 상에 정규 분포의 형태로 분류하게 하였다. 수집된 자료는 PC-QUANL 프로그램으로 처리하였다. 연구결과, 남자간호사에 대한 인식은 3개의 유형으로 확인되었으며, 제1유형은 '발전 지향적 옹호형', 제2유형은 '현실적 비판형', 제3유형은 '보수주의적 수용형'으로 분류되었다. 각 유형 간 공통된 견해는 '남자간호사는 여성 집단의 고유한 특성으로 인해 스트레스를 받는다'로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 세 가지 유형에 근거한 중재 프로그램을 개발하여 남자간호사에 대한 여자간호사의 인식을 향상시키는 데 기여할 것이다.

임상간호사의 태움에 대한 인식 유형 (Perceptions Types of Workplace Bullying among Clinical Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사의 태움에 대한 인식을 확인하기 위해 Q 방법론을 적용하여, 그 유형을 확인과 유형별 특성을 확인하는 데 목적을 둔 탐색적 연구이다. 총 111개의 Q모집단을 추출하여 최종적으로 38개의 Q 표본을 선정하였으며, 36명의 임상간호사를 통하여 11점 척도로 자료 수집을 하였다. 수집된 데이터는 PC QUANL 프로그램으로 분석되었다. 임상간호사의 태움에 대한 인식 유형은 3개 요인의 6개 유형으로 도출되었으며, 요인별 상위유형(감내형, 통과의례형, 위계질서형)과 하위유형(텃새형, 안정지향적 개인형, 대인관계 포기형)으로 구분되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 간호업무 환경을 개선시키기 위하여 대인관계 및 의사소통을 향상시키는 직장문화개선 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

베트남 미혼여성의 결혼이주 인식에 대한 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory Research on Marriage Migrant Recognition for Unmarried Vietnamese Women)

  • This study explored general marriage migration for 180 unmarried Vietnamese immigrant women and identified differences in recognition after the choice of marriage. The methods used were frequency analysis, kai verification, and independent t verification were conducted. The findings were as follows. First, unmarried Vietnamese women showed a receptive attitude towards marriage migration with the less-educated group more likely to opt for marriage migration. Economic benefit expectations topped other factors in regards to the image of marriage migrant women and motivation. Dual national identity benefits were also indicated. Second, the perception of external and illusionary images of the spouses of marriage migrant women was low; however, the perception of good occupations and gender equality was high. A vague expectancy of marriage was also found. The perception was high that children from multi-cultural families would be global bilingual talents and adjust to school; however, the perception of social discrimination or prejudice was low. The perception of social discrimination was low concerning the perception of social integration towards marriage migrant women; however, the perception of identities, cultural differences and employment was present. By contrast, the group opting for marriage migration showed a significantly low perception of social discrimination and difficulty in employment. The suggested measures are to regulate and maintain forms of marriage type, reinforce prior training systems for Vietnamese immigrant women (and spouses), enhance multicultural recognition, and supplement multicultural policies.

간호대학생의 자아탄력성 및 가족탄력성이 성공적 노화 인식에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Ego Resilience and Family Resilience on the Perception of Successful Aging in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine the relationship between ego resilience, family resilience, and the perception of successful aging in nursing students; additionally, specific factors relating to the perception of successful aging were identified. Methods: The participants comprised 154 nursing students. Data were collected through the administration of self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was then performed utilizing a t-test, an ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: Family resilience differed significantly based on the type of residence (p=.020) (i.e., living with grandparents (p=.048)). Perception of successful aging differed significantly based on grade (p<.001). The perception of successful aging showed a positive correlation relative to mode of communication and organizational pattern. The mode of communication accounted for 4.7% of perception of successful aging. Conclusion: The significance of the study on the importance of mode of communication was confirmed by identifying the effects of the perception of successful aging. Nursing students may actively cope with crises through communication; thus, successfully recognizing aging in order to lead a healthy life. Furthermore, having a high perception of successful aging while treating an increasing number of elderly patients at the clinical practice is believed to have a positive effect on patient care.

농가 주부의 경제적 스트레스 지각수준과 관련 변수 (Economic stress perception of farm households′ wives and related variables in Korea)

  • The objectives of this study are : (1) to measure the level of economic stress perception in Korean farm households. (2) to identify the effects of related variables such as socio-demographic variables and economic stability. The data from 505 farm households' wives was analyzed using statistical methods such as frequency, correlation, oneway ANOVA, lease significant difference test, and stepwise multiple regression. The major findings are as follows : The mean value of economic stress perception on the 505 wives was 33.5 points out of a possible 100. Among 3 subsectors, income stress perception had highest score. Socio- demographic variables such as family size, type of farm household, financial manager, debt, credit . grant assistant, wife's age, and educational level of the wife had a significant difference on the economic stress perception of wives in the ANOVA analysis. So did the objective and subjective evaluation of economic stability. As a result of multiple regression analysis, economic stability, debt presence, and wife age were verified explaining 23% of the variance of economic stress perception. Therefore, it can be said that farm wives had relatively high economic stress perception in the case of low economic stability, getting into debt and low age.

Customers' perception of the attributes of different formats of menu labeling: a comparison between Korea and the U.S.

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: This study compared the perception of customers from Korea and the U.S. on the attributes of different formats of menu labeling The specific objectives were 1) to compare the customers' perceived usefulness, ease-of-understanding, clarity, and attractiveness of different formats of menu labeling between Korea and the U.S.; and 2) to compare the customers' use intention to different formats of menu labeling between Korea and the U.S. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A survey was conducted in Korea and the U.S. The participants were allocated randomly to view 1 of the 7 restaurant menus that varied according to the following types of menu labeling formats: (type 1) kcal format, (type 2) traffic-light format, (type 3) percent daily intake (%DI) format, (type 4) kcal + traffic-light format, (type 5) kcal + %DI format, (type 6) traffic-light + %DI format, and (type 7) kcal + traffic-light + %DI format. A total of 279 Koreans and 347 Americans were entered in the analysis. An independent t-test and 1-way analysis of variance were performed. RESULTS: Koreans rated type 4 format (kcal + traffic light) the highest for usefulness and attractiveness. In contrast, Americans rated type 7 (kcal + traffic light + %DI) the highest for usefulness, ease-of-understanding, attractiveness, and clarity. Significant differences were found in the customers' perceived attributes to menu labeling between Korea and the U.S. Americans perceived higher for all the 4 attributes of menu labeling than Koreans. CONCLUSIONS: The study is unique in identifying the differences in the attributes of different formats of menu labeling between Korea and the U.S. Americans rated the most complicated type of menu labeling as the highest perception for the attributes, and showed a higher use intention of menu labeling than Koreans. This study contributes to academia and industry for practicing menu labeling in different countries using different formats.

Factors Influencing the Consumption of Calcium-Rich Foods among Adolescents

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing the consumption of calcium-rich foods among adolescents. A total of 96 adolescents divided into twelve focus groups were investigated during April to May 2000 in Busan. Focus group discussions were audio-taped, transcribed and analyzed using a grounded theory approach. Key factors influencing the consumption of calcium-rich foods were taste, food type, body image, and family. Motivators among the factors were taste, flood type, body image, health, family and perception, and barriers were taste, flood type, location, friends, price, weather and lactose intolerance. Taste, flood type, location and weather were found to be both motivators and barriers of consumption of calcium-rich floods according to circumstances. Some of these factors varied in importance by gender and age. Younger adolescents were more strongly influenced by taste and family than older ones. Older adolescents were strongly influenced by body image, convenience and perception. These findings could be used as a guideline for adolescents to consume calcium-rich foods.
