Sensitivity to online store stimuli (VMD attributes) and response (online store loyalty) may depend upon consumers' regulatory focus (emotional state). In other words, consumers' sensitivity to online store atmosphere and consequent store loyalty can be influenced by the match between their regulatory focus (promotion focused vs. prevention focused) and the type of the online store VMD benefits Study 1 results indicate consumers have a different evaluation about online store atmosphere depending on their regulatory focus. Promotion-focused consumers were significantly more sensitive to visual appeal and entertainment attributes of online store atmospherics than prevention-focused consumers. Conversely, prevention-focused consumers were significantly more sensitive to security and privacy attributes of online store, than promotion-focused consumers. Study 2 results indicate for promotion-focused shoppers, hedonic value toward online store atmosphere was associated with greater online store loyalty. In contrast, prevention-focused shoppers were influenced more by the utilitarian attributes on online store loyalty than promotion-focused shoppers. The current findings indicate that shoppers with promotion-focused are more easily persuaded by visual and entertainment-oriented online store cues. Conversely, shoppers with prevention-focus are more easily persuaded by safety and privacy-oriented online store cues.
A Nationwide health care utilization survey was conducted from March 11 to September 19, 1985 to assess the level of illness and the magnitude of medical care utilization. A probability sample of 15,427 persons was taken from 180 Enumerated Districts designated by the Economic Planning Board. Of those 4,500 housewives were proxy respondents. A interview was conducted with pre-tested questionnaire schedule which was recorded by well trained interviewers. Age and sex compositions of the study population were similar to those of general population structure in 1985. The major findings of this survey are as follows : 1) A total of 64.5% of the study population lived in city area and 35.5% lived in county area. 2) While no difference was observed in interview rate between city and county area, it showed statistically significant difference in the medical security program coverage rate between the two areas(44.7% and 37.1%, respectively) 3) Morbidity rate was 79 per 1,000 persons during the two week periods. There was difference in age and sex adjusted morbidity rates between city and county area. Furthermore morbidity rates by the status of the program were significantly difference between the two areas. 4) Average ambulatory care utilization rate was 7.2 visits per person per year and average admission rate was 1.8 per 100 persons per year. There was significant difference in average ambulatory care utilization rate by the program. but no significant difference in medical utilization rate between city and country area. 5) The major symptoms of the perceived illness was the respiratory system(44.1%). 6) A total of 50.4% of the perceived illness among the covered group by the program were treated at the hospital and clinics, but those who are not covered used primarily drug stores(61.3%).
Recently, various mobile services are provided by the spread of wireless network infrastructures and smart devices. The improvement of cloud computing technologies increases the interests for enterprise mobile cloud services in various IT companies as well. By increasing the interests for enterprise mobile cloud services, it is necessary to evaluate the use of enterprise mobile cloud services. Therefore, the factors which affect the user acceptance of enterprise mobile cloud services are analyzed on the basis of Davis' technology acceptance model in this research. As analysis results, four external variables have significant effects on perceived ease of use of mobile cloud services. Also, these variables indirectly affect attitude toward using cloud services. The results show that the security is the most important factor for attitude toward using enterprise mobile cloud services. The service users also consider the interoperability as an important factor for the user acceptance of cloud services. The perceived ease of use has more contribution than the perceive usefulness on attitude toward using enterprise mobile cloud services. This research has both industrial and academic contributions because it provides the guideline to companies for introducing the enterprise mobile cloud services and apply the technology acceptance model on new IT services.
The purpose of this research is to find individual user's preference for cloud storage service such as Daum Cloud, Naver N-Drive, GoogleDrive, Dropbox, SkyDrive and iCloud. Through literature reviewed and pilot tests, 6 attributes of cloud storage service (storage capacity, perceived cost, collaboration, accessibility, social influence and perceived security) were selected and all 6 attributes had significant effects on the preference of cloud storage service by conjoint analysis. The results shows that the user's willingness to pay is estimated 10,553 won for the free storage, 4,646 won for the function for mobile accessibility, and 2,443 won for more reliable cloud computing service provider. This study has significance to apply conjoint analysis with economic, technological, and environmental factors to cloud storage service (SaaS) and shed light on policy promotion of next generation of cloud computing ecosystem by user perception with willingness to pay on the storage service.
Using Herzberg's motive hygiene theory, this study also investigated the influence of motivation factors and hygiene factors on acceptance and resistance of mobile facial recognition payment services, and the influence of consumer innovation as a parameter on acceptance and resistance from motivation factors and hygiene factors. A survey was conducted on Chinese users who had experience using mobile payment services. IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and SmartPLS 3.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the analysis, the motivating factors of mobile facial recognition payment services have a positive (+) impact on acceptance, and there were no significant results on resistance. In addition, hygiene factors have been shown to have negative (-) effects on acceptance and positive (+) effects on resistance. Consumer innovation, which is a parameter in relation to motivation factors and acceptance and resistance, had a partial mediation effect, and a partial mediation effect was also seen in the relationship between hygiene factors and resistance, but no mediation effect was found in the relationship between hygiene factors and acceptance. The motivating factors found through research results such as rapidity, ubiquity, perceived usability, perceived ease of use, privacy concerns, security, status quo inertia, use barriers, and loss avoidance, which are factors of non-contact and hygiene, can be used as basic data for activating mobile facial recognition payment services.
The freedom of assembly is the fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. However, as far as our reality is concerned, the freedom of assembly is guaranteed only when it is under the control of the police, and otherwise it is perceived as an object to be suppressed. Police say even that they will not tolerate even a small illegal law while referring to the "broken window theory". Therefore, regardless of the peaceful nature of the rally, it is too obsessed with 'compliance'. This attitude is causing the citizens who participated in the assembly to be put to the object to be suppressed. This paper analyzes the requirements and current status of police force, focusing on the vehicle-wall-blocking and water cannon as a means of using the police force, which is a recent problem, and suggests ways to improve it. First of all, the installation of the wall cuts off the essential communication function of the assembly by separating the meeting place from the object of protest. Thus, despite the warning for prevention in the face of illegal acts, other than installing a barrier, it should be allowed only in the 'urgent case where there is a risk of causing damage to the life, body or property of the person'. Without this urgency, the vehicle-wall-blocking should not be allowed to be proactive as well as preventive. Secondly, the water cannon is a police force that is likely to harm people's life and body. Therefore, aiming shots, which could pose a significant risk to the human body, should in principle be prohibited. However, considering its risk, it should be supplementary used only when there is no other alternative, only when the direct risk to the legal interest of the other person or the order of public well-being is 'obvious'. Ever since the 9/11 terror attack, all the world has perceived the need and taken actions to make an anti-terror law, however The Republic of Korea has not yet come up with any relevant output. Currently, the Korean government apportions duties to each related government agency and sets up systems for cooperation among them to make preparations against and cope with terror threats, according to The National Guidelines on Anti-Terror Activities (the presidential directive number 47 given on January 21, 1982). However, the directive has many limits and shortcomings in coping with national emergencies. In this situation, this research aims to compare the national anti-terror laws of others countries with Korea's, in order to understand the problems in Korea, i.e., that The National Guidelines on Anti-Terror Activities, which are the only anti-terror regulations in Korea do not clearly describe the concept and range of a terror, that national anti-terror meetings and the anti-terror standing committee have problems with their operation, that the Terrorism Information Integration Center has also its own problems, and that Korea lacks in preparatory actions against terror crimes and there are still problems about investigations into terror incidents. In order to solve these problems for the future, the present author suggests that the purpose of the law on The National Guidelines on Anti-Terror Activities shall be re-established so as to meet the current anti-terror conditions of Korea, the concept of a terror and anti-terror activities shall be clarified, anti-terror organizations shall be unified, the chair of the anti-terror standing committee shall be appointed legally and automatically according to the relevant rule and be given more rights so as to have free access to private information for anti-terror activities and terror-related information, and systems shall be supplemented for reporting terror-involved persons and funds.
The purpose of the study was to analyze job satisfaction and organizational commitment of organizational members for accreditation of engineering education. That will allow applying for effective and efficiency job system in workplace. To this aim, this study analyzed 62 organizational members for accreditation of engineering education how they perceived job satisfaction and organizational commitment in their workplace. The main results of the study are follows. First, organizational members' general job satisfaction is very low. Especially satisfaction of job security, wages, promotion and reward is very low. Second, organizational commitment of organizational members is low. Especially continuance commitment is higher in comparison with affective commitment and normative commitment. It means that their retailing potential is huge if they have a chance. Finally, influencing factors of job satisfaction and organizational commitment are job security, wages, promotion and reward. In conclusion, this study suggests effective organizational system for enhancing job satisfaction and organizational commitment of organizational members for accreditation of engineering education.

Background : Cancer is a disease that not only places a significant burden on patients clinically but also requires significant expense for diagnosis and treatment. Although the cancer coverage of health insurance has recently been expended, the need for financial assistance among cancer patients and their families is still expected to be significant. In this study, cancer patients' need for financial assistance in Korea was examined and its influence factors were analyzed. Methods : Target study subjects were those who are over 18 years of age and were diagnosed with cancer more than four months prior at the National Cancer Center and 9 Regional Cancer Centers in Korea during the period from July to August of 2008. Quarter sampling was conducted according to the ratio of the type of each cancer. A face to face interview survey was conducted. A total of 2,661 cancer patients finished the survey. Medical charts were reviewed in order to obtain the cancer type and SEER stage of cancer patients. An ordered logistic regression model was used to examine the level of need for financial assistance according to the demographical, clinical, and socio-economic variables of cancer patients. Result : The percentage of cancer patients who needed financial assistance was 69.0%, and 36.9% needed significant financial assistance. The need for financial assistance was perceived to be greater in males, younger age group, low income group, low education group, medical aid recipients, those who were diagnosed recently, those with a low level of quality of life measured through EQ5D, and those with decreased income after cancer diagnosis. Conclusion : In spite of the current policy to increase health insurance coverage, the majority of cancer patients and their families in Korea still need financial assistance due to cancer. In particular, there were more vulnerable groups, such as the low income, or low education group. In the future, policies that focus on the disadvantaged, which strengthen social security, should be considered for achievement of a substantially better quality of life for cancer patients and their families.
