  • As using of insulating material of plastic to industrial electric field, thermoset has been gradually substituted for thermoplastic. But changing the material with crystalline has some problem, which is strength or warpage, Especially getting a strength to endure inner pressure is necessary when arc is occurred. So we use the material that is composed of glass fiber to compensate strength. By the way as the reinforced glass-fiber material is used in injection molding, unstableness of dimension is appeared frequently and it is difficult to know warpage pattern. So this paper will be contributed to know warpage pattern of mold product that is upper frame of magnetic contactor caused by glass-fiber orientation with fixed gate-system, when glass-fiber reinforced material with classification of poly-amide is used in injection molding.

Approximation of Common Fixed Points for a Family of Non-Lipschitzian Mappings

  • In this paper, we first introduce a family S = {$S_n$ : C ${\rightarrow}$ C} of non-Lipschitzian mappings, called total asymptotically nonexpansive (briefly, TAN) on a nonempty closed convex subset C of a real Banach space X, and next give necessary and sufficient conditions for strong convergence of the sequence {$x_n$} defined recursively by the algorithm $x_{n+1}$ = $S_nx_n$, $n{\geq}1$, starting from an initial guess $x_1{\in}C$, to a common fixed point for such a continuous TAN family S in Banach spaces. Finally, some applications to a finite family of TAN self mappings are also added.

  • In this paper the robust vector control method of induction motor for the purpose of improving the system performance deterioration caused by parameter variations is proposed. The estimations of the stator current and the rotor flux are obtained by the full order state observer with corrective prediction error feedback. and the adaptive scheme is constructed to estimate the rotor speed with the error signal between real and estimation value of the stator current. Adaptive sliding observer based on the variable structure control is applied to parameter identification. Consequently predictive current control and speed sensorless vector control can be obtained simultaneously regardless of the parameter variations.

  • In this paper, a new method for calculating capacitance in multi-electrode system with arbitrarily shape is presented. This new approach based on divergence theorem and Gauss's law is achieved by Surface-Contacted Element(SCE) for Gaussian surface. To evaluate capacitance in multi-electrode system, two dimensional finite element method using only the elements which is contacted one nod (PE: Point-Element) or two nod (FE: Face-Element) with surface is employed. The proposed SCE method has short computing time to calculate capacitance which is because it uses only SCE elements and needs one calculation loop while exiting FEM method in servral loops. This method is verified by application in calculating capacitance using potential detection device model which is composed with anode, cathode, and floating electrode.

  • In this paper. to estimate starting torque of synchronous motor by simple test, we propose a new method which is the combination of commercial tests and single phase AC applied test of synchronous motor. A driving characteristic was examined when field winding is supplied a de and chopper current. The starting characteristics are assumed and agreed with actual data.

부분방전에 의한 주계전기의 절연성능 평가 (Insulation Performance Estimation of Main Relays by Partial Discharges)

  • A new dielectric test on main relays of electric traction vehicles, the partial discharge(PD) test, is proposed. The PD test will not affect the insulation performance of specimen during the test and provide much more detailed information on insulation, the types of defects, and so on. Insulation performance of relays is estimated by discharge inception voltage(DIV), discharge extinction voltage (DEV), and apparent charge as a function of test voltage and time. Three main relays of different manufacturing date were estimated by applying AC voltage with three patterns in ranges of $0{\sim}1,200[V]$. From the results, we could estimate insulation state and which types of defects exist in them.

  • Inverter-fed induction motors (IFM) are prevalent in traction vehicles. However, the winding insulation of IFM is substantially more stressed than of line-powered motors by surge voltages. Consequently, the winding insulation of IFM should be estimated by surge voltages. Also, the weakness of coil insulation can be detected by the surge voltage test. This paper described the insulation evaluation of induction motors by application of surge voltages. A surge voltage generator with the maximum voltage of 5 kV and the selectable rise-time in ranges of $50\;ns\;{\sim}\;500\;ns$ was fabricated. In the experiment, we applied surge voltages into induction motors with the magnitude and the risetime according to IEEE 522. By the analysis of applied surge voltage and current waveforms, we could find difference between normal and defection windings.

저압계통에서 직렬아크신호의 검출 (Detection of Series Arc Signal in Low-voltage Systems)

  • This paper described the design and fabrication of a series arc detection module to monitor electrical insulation in low-voltage system. The module consists of a passive high-pass filter with a low cut-off frequency of 3 kHz to attenuate power frequency voltage by 80 dB and an active band-pass filter with a frequency of 4 kHz to detect series arc signals only. For the application experiment, we simulated series arcing phenomena on various loads such as incandescent lamp controlled by dimmer and inverter fed induction motors by an arc generator specified in UL1699. From the experimental results, we could detect series arc signals without an influence of noises.
