가정과 수업에의 적용 가능성 탐색을 위한 부모자녀간 의사소통훈련 프로그램의 효과분석 (Analysis of the Effect of Training Program for Parent-Adolescent Communication Applied to Home Economics Classes, and the Possibility to Implement the Program)

  • The Purpose of this research was to introduce communication training program for positive parent-adolescent relation into home economics education curriculum. The research applied the program named "Making the desirable world 2" which was revised by K.E.T.I(Korea Effectiveness Training Institute). This program was given two hours a week during 8 weeks. The subject of this study was 24 students, divided into two groups, the experimental and the control group. This research supposed that parent-adolescent communication and self-esteem in the experimental group would significantly increase by group training program. The results of this research are as follows. First, parent-adolescent communication in the experimental group was significantly increased by the group training program. Second, self-esteem in the experimental group was significantly increased by the group training program. For home economics education as a practical subject matter, promoting qualitative maturity of students' family life, this study aimed both at enhancing communication for positive relation of parent-adolescent by group training and implementing home economics education curriculum practically.

유아기 자녀를 둔 다문화가족 부모자녀관계 증진을 위한 부모교육프로그램 개발 및 효과성 연구 (A Study on the Development and Effects of a Parenting Training Program for Improving Parent-Child Relationships in Multi-cultural Families)

  • This study centred around the development of a parenting training program for improving parent-child relationships in multi-cultural families and to examine the effects of the program. The goal of this program was to improve parent-child relationships in multi-cultural families. The program consists of 8 sessions and each session employs a variety of activities and teaching methods to help multi-cultural mothers to become more involved in the a program. The participants were 12 mothers of multi-cultural backgrounds in Seoul and Asan city. There 12 mothers were assigned to the experimental group participated in this program for a total of 8 sessions. Data were analyzed according to frequencies, percentiles, means, standard deviations, and paired t-test. The results of this study indicated that this parenting training program for improving parent-child relationships was effective in improving multi-cultural mother's parenting efficacy and reducing their parenting stress.

Evaluation of a Parent Training Program for Promoting Filipino Young Children's Number Sense with Number Card Games

  • Not all parents are skilled in scaffolding their young children's numeracy learning. The present study investigated the effectiveness of a parent training program in promoting Filipino young children's number sense via card game playing at home. Participants were 161 young children and their parents; families were of a relatively low socioeconomic status. During the 10-week intervention period, parents in the experimental group received training on how to use number game cards to help their children acquire various numeracy concepts; parents in the control group received no special instructions. Children in the experimental group showed greater improvements in their performance on six number sense tasks (namely numeral identification, object counting, rote counting, missing number, numerical magnitude comparison, and addition) over the intervention period than did children in the control group. Findings of the present study suggest that providing simple training to parents on strategies for fostering their young children's number sense at home is important for giving children a good early start in basic number knowledge.

또래 괴롭힘 피해아의 특성에 기초한 중재 프로그램의 개발 : 부모교육 프로그램과 사회적 기술 훈련 프로그램을 중심으로 (The Development of Intervention Programs Based on Characteristics of Children Victimized by Peers:Focus on Parent Education and Social Skills Training Programs)

  • Based on characteristics of victims, the parent education program focused on building a new concept of personal respect toward their children and on changing overprotective and coercive parenting styles into democratic parenting. The social skills training program focused on building self-acceptance, self-esteem and interpersonal capabilities in victimized children. Three groups, each composed of 6 victims and their mothers, were compared to examine the effectiveness of the programs. Children in experimental group I showed marked increase in self-esteem. They also reported that their mothers' overprotective parenting decreased after participation in the parent education program, indicating the effectiveness of the intervention program.

주의력결핍 과잉활동 장애 아동에서 약물 단독 치료와 부모 훈련 병합 치료의 효과 비교 (COMPARISON OF THE TREATMENT EFFECTS BETWEEN MEDICATION ONLY AND MEDICATION-PLUS-PARENT TRAINING IN ADHD CHILDREN)

  • 본 연구에서는 ADHD로 진단된 5세에서 11세 연령 범위의 임상 환아 집단을 대상으로 부모 훈련과 약물(메칠펜)을 병행한 치료와 약물만을 단독으로 사용한 치료 효과를 비교하였다. 8주간의 부모 훈련과 약물 치료를 실시한 결과, ADHD 아동들이 학교나 가정에서 보이는 주의산만함, 충동성, 과잉활동성 등 문제 행동을 감소시키고 부모의 양육 스트레스를 감소시키는데 부모 훈련과 약물 치료를 병행하는 것이 약물치료를 단독으로 사용하는 것보다 매우 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 약물 치료만을 사용한 경우, 부모가 평정한 아동의 문제 행동 잠수와 양육 스트레스 점수상에서는 거의 변화가 없는 반면, 교사의 평정치와 TOVA 검사의 Reaction Time과 Variability 점수가 비록 통계적으로 유의미하지는 않았으나 약물 치료후에 정상 범위로 감소되는 경향이 있었다. 이러한 결과는 메칠펜이 주의력 결핍 중상의 치료에 효과적일 수 있으나, ADHD 아동이 학교나 가정에서 보이는 문제 행동을 변화시키고 부모나 교사가 ADHD 아동에 대해 가지고 있는 부정적인 인식을 변화시킬 뿐만 아니라 부모들의 자녀양육 스트레스를 감소시키기 위해서는 부모 훈련이 반드시 필요하다는 점을 시사해 주었다.

Silk Filament Progression with Backcross Breeding Generations in Tropical Tasar Silkworm, Antheraea mylitta D

  • Silk filament progression study applying backcross breeding with recipient parent Jata and donor parent Daba ecoraces of tropical tasar silkworm, Antheraea mylitta Drury conducted during 2006 to 2008, revealed introgression of filament denier (10.2 d) superior to both parents at BC4 level. Also, the silk waste (0.35%) and filament breaks (2.6 nos) were reduced compared to both parents, while the filament length (973 m) and non break filament (296 m) improved over donor and could attain closer to recipient parent. The best performance of Jata $\times$ Daba at F1 level, with highest silk filament length (1646 m) of 12.5 d denier, denotes heterosis impact on silk trait with parental heterogenousity, an advantage to exploit silk filament yield. The progression of quality in terms of finer filament denier, less silk waste and least number of filament breaks over both parents and improvement in filament length and non break filament over donor parent except for a marginal shortage against recipient at BC4 level indicates the prospects of Jata and Daba ecoraces as source of breeding material for qualitative improvement of tasar silk filament. The study suggests that the commercially important finer denier of tasar silk filament can be attained with minor reduction in silk yield of wild Jata ecorace by adopting repeated backcrossing for four generations with semi domesticated Daba ecorace.

ADHD 아동을 위한 부모훈련 중재의 효과 연구: 메타분석 (The Effects of Parental Training Interventions on ADHD in Children: A Meta-Analysis)

  • 목적 : 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; ADHD)의 증상을 완화시키는데 있어 부모 훈련 중재(Parent Training Intervention)의 효과를 분석하고 어떠한 효과가 있는지 그 근거를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 : 2009년부터 2019년까지 10년간 해외 학술지에 게재된 문헌을 Proquest, Scopus 데이터베이스를 통하여 수집하였다. 검색용어는 (ADHD OR Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) AND (Parent OR Mother OR Father) AND (Training OR Program OR Therapy OR Intervention) AND (Randomized OR Randomised OR Randomly)를 사용하였다. 연구의 질적 평가를 위해 PEDro척도를 활용하였고, Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.0을 통해 메타분석을 실시하였다. 결과 : 1차 검색된 628개의 연구를 확인하였고, 최종 20개의 논문을 선정하였다. ADHD 아동에 대한 부모 훈련 중재의 전체효과크기(0.431) 및 부모 대상 중재(0.391), 부모-아동 대상 중재(0.639)는 모두 중간 효과크기로 나타났다. 부모 대상 중재는 ADHD 증상-과잉행동 및 충동성(0.921), 아동 행동(1.075), 아동 정서(0.834)에서 큰 효과크기가 나타났으며, 부모-아동 대상 중재는 ADHD 증상-과잉행동 및 충동성(0.922), 아동 정서(1.335), 반항성 및 품행장애(2.555), 학교 기능 및 사회기술(0.990)에서 큰 효과크기가 나타났다. 이질성 검정 결과 유의미한 결과가 나타나 랜덤효과모형을 선택하였다. 결론 : 부모 훈련 중재가 ADHD 아동의 증상에 미치는 효과를 알 수 있었다. 이는 작업치료사에게 임상적 근거를 제공하기 위한 근거 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 추후에는 국내실정에 맞는 부모 훈련 중재와 관련된 다양한 연구들이 진행되어야 할 것이다.

유아교육공동체 구현을 위한 컨설턴트 양성과정 참여 어머니의 경험: 자기 인식의 변화 (Experiences of Mothers Participating in Consultant Training to Build an Early Childhood Education Community: Changes in Self-Awareness)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of mothers who participated in the training of consultants for the purposes building an early childhood educational community. Methods: Participants were 14 mothers in the first phase, 10 mothers in the second phase, and 8 mothers in the third phase. Data were collected from stories shared during the learning community activities. The mothers' experiences were analyzed according to qualitative analysis procedures. Results: Mothers' experiences of participating in the training of consultant for building early childhood educational community were categorized into three themes and seven sub-themes. The first theme was "self as a parent" including "looking inside myself in the parent-child relationships" and "looking inside myself in the relations with other mothers". The second theme was "self as a member of the community" which consisted of "sharing emotions through ritual", "forming communitarian identity through hospitality and solidarity" and "growing as a social mother". The third theme was "self as a educational community consultant" out of which emerged "setting up shared visions", "building practical community competence", and "creating fields of community implementation". Conclusion: The results suggested there are implications for the effective practices of building an early childhood education community and the direction and methodology of parent education.

부모교육으로서의 부모놀이치료 효과에 대한 연구 (Effectiveness of Filial Play Therapy as Parent Education)

  • This study on filial play therapy training as parent education included 12 experimental group mothers, 11 control group mothers, and their 5-year-old children. Over 5 weeks, experimental group mothers received 2 hours filial therapy training 10 times, twice a week, and 30 minutes home special play 4 times, once a week. Each mother was videotaped playing with her child and completed three self-report instruments : Parental Acceptance Scale(Porter, 1954), Parenting Stress Index(Abidin, 1990), and Child Behavior Checklist(Oh et al., 1997) before and after the training. Pre- and post-test data was analyzed by paired-t test. Filial play therapy training enhanced empathy in adult-child interaction during free play. Significant increases appeared in parental acceptance level of child's feeling and autonomy.

Inheritance of Resistance to Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus in Silkworm, Bombyx mori

  • Inheritance pattern of resistance to Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus (BmNPV) was studied in an Indian silkworm stock TX by single back-cross test method. The resistant parent [TX], susceptible parent [HM], their Fl, F2, and Fl progeny back-crossed to TX [BC(R)] and HM [BC(S)] were inoculated per os with a fixed concentration of BmNPV($0.5{\times}10^{th} PIB/ml$) on the first day of second stadium. The cumulative mortality was recorded until day $10^{\times}$ post-inoculation. The results show that the resistance to BmNPV in TX fellow mono Mendelian inheritance pattern. The resistance dominated over the susceptibility at Fl. At F2, the resistant and susceptible offspring segregated in 3:1 ratio whereas at BC(S), the resistant and susceptible offspring segregated in 1:1 ratio. The response of BC(R) was more or less like the resistant parent TX which confirms the involvement of a major dominant gene conferring resistance to BmNPV in TX. The possible mechanism of inheritance of resistance in TX is discussed.
