Model Updating Using the Closed-loop Natural Frequency (폐루프 공진 주파수를 이용한 모델 개선법)

  • Parameter modification of a linear finite element model(FEM) based on modal sensitivity matrix is usually performed through an effort to match FEM modal data to experimental ones. However, there are cases where this method can't be applied successfully; lack of reliable modal data and ill-conditioning of the modal sensitivity matrix constitute such cases. In this research, a novel concept of introducing feedback loops to the conventional modal test setup is proposed. This method uses closed-loop natural frequency data for parameter modification to overcome the problems associated with the conventional method based on modal sensitivity matrix. We proposed the whole procedure of parameter modification using the closed-loop natural frequency data including the modal sensitivity modification and controller design method. Proposed controller design method is efficient in changing modes. Numerical simulation of parameter estimation based on time-domain input/output data is provided to demonstrate the estimation performance of the proposed method.

  • This paper has the object of investigating natural frequencies of thick plates on inhomogeneous Pasternak foundation by means of finite element method and providing kinematic design data lot mat of building structures. This analysis was applied for design of substructure on elastic foundation. Mat of building structure may be consisdered as a thick plate on elastic foundation. Recently, as size of building structure becomes larger, mat area of building structure also tend to become target and building structure is supported on inhomogeneous foundation. In this paper, vibration analysis or rectangular thick plate is done by use or serendipity finite element with 8 nodes by considering shearing strain of plate. The solutions of this paper are compared with existing solutions and finite element solutions with 4${\times}$4 meshes of this analysis are shown the error of maximum 0.083% about the existing solutions. It is shown that natrural frequencies depend on not only Winkler foundation parameter but also shear foundation parameter.

  • In this paper, some algorithms for robust stabilization of linerar time - invariant single - input - multi output(SIMO) systems subject to parameter perturbatations are presented. .The range of structure perturbation was obtained by using the gradient optimization algorithm. These algorithms iteratively enlarge the stability hypersphere in plant parameter space and can be used to design a robust controller to stabilize a plant subject to givien range of parameter ecxursions.

  • In this study, a winch and load motion control system design method is introduced. Especially, the winch and load (moving cart) are connected with long wire rope which is extended to few kilometers long. Therefore, the rope length changes such that many dynamic parameter values are changed as well by winding and releasing the rope from the winch system. In this paper, the authors designed the control system by considering the real time parameter variation to occupy and keep good control performance continuously. The effectiveness of introduced method was evaluated by simulation results.

  • IP speed controller is used as a main controller and it makes the system low overshoot and easy controllability. Load torque is estimated by Kalman filter algorithm and parameter controller is used against a rotor inertia negative variations.   • Virtual construction (VC) system enables project manager to visually check mistakes in design materials by using virtual reality technology. In using VC system, to make 3D object by each construction element is still tedious work. This study suggests an improved method to make 3D object by using parameter-based 3D generation function. The IDEFO model to organize the process for the function. A VC system by this function was developed in this study and the function was verified by a bridge project in this system.

  • In a recent article, Leon et al. lucidly explained the ideas of the Taguchi two-stage procedure for parameter design optimization, and proposed alternative performance measures called PerMIA to the signal-to-noise ratios. On the other hand, Box proposed an empirical approach to the problem based upon monotone transformations of the performance characteristic(y). This paper develops procedures for parameter design optimization under the assumptions that the expected loss(not necessarily a mean squared error loss) is increasing with respect to the variance of the error in y, and that the mean of y satisfies certain conditions of adjustability. It turns out that the variance of the error in y can play the role of PerMIA, and it is further shown that the derived PerMIA can be adapted to the Box empirical procedure for the minimization of the expected loss in the original metric.

And then, it is develop that stone surface process equipment by automation for the work method of boner process can be substitute work method by shotball blasting. To developement of equipment, There is to be down noise and dust. Acording to remove calamity growth hazardous substance in the work environment, there is to solve workplace avoidance factor. We have taken Taguchi's parameter design approch, specifically orthogonal array, and determined the optimal levels of stone surface through analysis of the experimental results using SIN ratio.

  • The log-log presentation of stress versus Larson-Miller parameter is obtained by uniaxial tensile test instead of the long time creep test. The used material for example calculations is SUS304 stainless steel. The temperature of the uniaxial tensile test can be determined by the Larson-Miller parameter of the design stress and the 0.1hr's rupture time of the uniaxial tensile test. The rupture time at the design temperature and stress can be determined by the Larson-Miller parameter of the stress. The average creep rate is the total deformation of the tensile test divided by the rupture time at the design stress and temperature. The liner trend and the order of the data of the average creep rate by this method is almost same as that of experimental results.
