경주 남산화강암에 대한 강화제 처리 전후의 물리적 특성변화 연구 (Studies on Physical Characterization of Gyeongju Namsan Granite after Treated with Consolidants)

  • 경주 남산화강암에 대한 강화제 처리 전후의 물리적 특성변화 연구를 위하여 강화제 처리 한 후 쌍안실체현미경관찰, 초음파속도, 쇼어경도, 색도측정 등을 실시하였다. 실험에 사용한 강화제는 세종대학교에서 개발한 6종류 35wt% Silicate Nonparticle/100%1T1G (Nonparticle), 3%POSS-SO1455/97%1T1G (3%POSS1455), POSS-SO1458/97%1T1G(3%POSS1458), 3%7nm/97%1T1G (3%7nm), 3%16nm/97%1T1G(3%16nm), 3%40nm/97%1T1G(3%40nm)와 상품화된 제품인 2개 Wacker사의 Silres BS OH-100, Kulba사의 Unil Sandsteinfestiger OH-100으로 총 8가지 종류이다. 강화제 처리후 암석의 표면색깔은 강화제의 종류에 따라 약간의 차이는 있으나 대부분 어두워졌으며 시간이 지남에 따라 원암과 유사한 색깔을 나타낸다. 강화제 처리 후 초음파속도와 쇼어경도는 증가하였다.

복합콘크리트와 이형 철근간의 부착강도에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Bond Splitting Strength between Composite Concrete and Deformed rebar)

  • To relieve noise between floors in Korea, recent domestic and overseas studies have been developing materials that have the properties of ceramic, which is an inorganic compound, and polymer, which is an organic compound, to introduce a new function to polymer. This study conducted a bending strength experiment between re-bar and new composite concrete mixing POSS (Polyhedral Oligomeric Silses-quioxanes) nano complex on the inside of concrete, and by assembling the inside of each concrete with 3 and 4 main re-bars as an experiment to supplement various problems that occur by the expression of this strength and the distribution of the reinforcement. The number of the main re-bars. and the direction of laying the concrete were applied as the principal variables of the experiment. Upon experiment, there were no differences in the bond strength based on the location of the main re-bar, and a 2 % increase in the bond strength was shown in the specimen laid in the same direction as the main re-bar in comparison to that of the specimen laid in a different direction from the main re-bar. The experiment results displayed that the composite concrete had uniform performance based on the rapid reaction speed of POSS nano complex.

의치세정제와 소독제가 의치상 레진의 색조, 표면경도, 표면조도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (THE EFFECTS OF DENTURE CLEANSERS AND DISINFECTANTS ON THE COLOR, SURFACE HARDNESS, SURFACE ROUGHNESS OF DENTURE BASE RESINS)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare effects of denture cleansers and disinfectants on the color. surface hardness, and surface roughness of reinforced acrylic resin using polyhedral oligosilsesquioxane molecules(POSS resin) to those of common resins. According to manufacturer's instructions, 45 specimens were made from three denture resins(Luciton 199, Paladent 20, POSS resin), and polished. Five denture cleansers(distilled water, glutaraldehyde, alkaline hypochlorites, chlorhexidine, alkaline peroxides) in combination with three denture resins were evaluated before and after immersion for 7 days. Color data in $L^*a^*b^*$ system were measured with a colorimeter. Surface hardness data were measured with a microhardness tester. Surface roughness data were measured with a 3-dimensional surface analyzer. Data were analyzed with two-way ANOVA, one-way ANOVA, and t-test. The results were as follows : 1. All resins(Luciton 199, Paladent 20, POSS resin) showed significant differences in color after immersion in hypochlorites(p<0.05). 2. POSS resin showed significant differences in color compared with Paladent 20 in all denture cleansers, but no statistically significant differences with Luciton 199(p<0.05). 3. Luciton 199 showed significant differences of surface hardness in chlorhexidine, Paladent 20 showed significant differences in glutaraldehyde and chlorhexidine. POSS resin showed a little change of surface in all denture cleanser, but no statistically significant differences(p<0.05). 4. Luciton 199 and Paladent 20 showed significant differences of surface roughness in hypochlorites and glutaraldehyde, and POSS resin showed no statistically significant differences in all denture cleansers(p<0.05).

표면 처리법에 따른 치과용 합금과 열중합형 레진 간의 결합 강도에 관한 연구 (EFFECT OF SURFACE TREATMENTS ON THE BOND STRENGTH OF DENTURE BASE RESINS TO DENTAL ALLOY)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare tensile bond strength between Cr-Co alloy and three denture base resins after surface treatment. Following the manufacturer's instructions, 180 bonded specimens were made from three denture base resins (Lucitone 199. Paladent 20. POSS resin) and three surface treatment methods (sandblasting. metal primer. silicoating) 20 samples were made in each group and a half was ther-mocycled 1000 times between $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$. The tensile bond strength was measured using an Instron with 5mm/min crosshead speed. Data was analyzed with one-way ANOVA, T-test and Duncan test. The results were as follows : 1. Samples with metal primer coating had significantly high tensile bond strength than the other surface treated groups (p<.05). Significantly low tensile bond strength was shown in sand blasted groups (p<.05). 2. No significant difference was observed in metal primer coating groups before and after ther-mocycling (p>.05) 3. Tensile bond strength was decreased in silicoated samples after thermocycling (p<.05). 4. Of the surface treated groups with metal primer, Lucitone 199 had the greatest bond strength and POSS resin and Paladent 20 were followed (p<.05). 5. Of the surface treated groups with silicoating, POSS resin and Lucitone 199 had greater bond strength than Paladent 20 (p<.05).

Syntheses and light-emitting properties of new PPV derivatives containing polyhedral oligomeric silsequioxane

  • A new light-emitting poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV) derivative containing a polyhedral oligomeric silsequioxane (POSS-PPV) and its MEH-PPV copolymers, [Poly(POSSPV-co-MEHPV)]s, have been synthesized through the Gilch polymerization, and their light-emitting properties were investigated. The synthesized polymers were characterized by NMR, GPC, thermogravimetric and elemental analysis. The POSS-PPV and copolymers showed almost the same optical properties as the MEH-PPV, regardless of copolymer composition. The POSS-PPV and MEHPPV all showed their peak absorption at 505 and 496nm, and PL emission maxima at 578 and 581nm. POSSPPV showed higher PL quantum efficiency than the MEH-PPV. Synthesis, characterization and electroluminescent properties of the polymers will be presented.

MQL드릴링 가공에서 밀폐커버와 타입 절삭유의 효과 (The Effect of a Sealed Cover and POSS-type Cutting Oil on MQL Drilling)

  • When drilling through Inconel 601 nickel-chromium-based alloys, a large amount of cutting oil is required to prevent tools from wear and fracturing due to heat buildup resulting from the high temperature resistance and toughness of this alloy. However, cutting oil supply has become a factor compromising the machining environment, and this has caused attention to shift to a more environmentally friendly cutting fluid supply system called minimum quantity lubrication (MQL). Our aim in this study was to find a more efficient drill processing method using MQL, and to verify its performance. To that end, we proposed a sealed cover, a step feed, and POSS-type cutting oil as measures to increase the effectiveness of MQL in view of the cutting force and tool wear, and established an improvement in efficiency using the proposed measures.

에폭시/아민계의 경화 특성에 미치는 Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane의 영향 (Effect of Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane on Cure Characterization of an Epoxy/Amine System)

  • 유무기 하이브리드 나노 물질인 polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS)를 첨가한 diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A(DGEBA) 에폭시/방향족 아민계를 다양한 경화온도에서 등온으로 반응시킨 후 유리전이온도($T_g$)와 전환율(${\alpha}$)을 DSC를 이용하여 측정하였다. 등온 경화시간에 따른 $T_g$의 변화 데이터를 임의로 설정된 기준 온도에서 수평 이동시켜 반응초기에 해당하는 속도우세 구간에서 서로 겹치게 하여 이때 필요한 이동 인자를 구하였으며, 이를 이용하여 활성화 에너지를 결정하였다. 또한 POSS가 $T_g$${\alpha}$에 미치는 영향을 조사하였으며 이들의 관계를 알기위하여 DiBenedetto식을 이용하여 분석하였다.

Photobleaching Nonchemically Amplified Photoresists

  • We designed and synthesized new type of nonchemically amplified polymeric and molecular resists and studied their lithographic performance. The polymeric resists [poly(DOBEMA-co-GBLMA)] show very high degree of photobleaching at 248 nm and moderate to good degree of photobleaching at 193 nm. The molecular resist (CDEOPE-POSS) shows high degree of photobleaching at 248 nm and modetate degree of photobleaching at 193 nm. CDEOPE-POSS possesses very high oxygen reactive ion etching resistance, which makes it suitable to be used as a bilayer resist. The lithographic studies of these resist materials suggest the feasibility of these materials to be used as single and bilayer resists.
