학교 밖 청소년의 흡연 및 금연 경험 연구 (A Study of Experiences of Smoking and Smoking Cessation in out-of-school Youth)

  • Purpose: The aim of this qualitative study was to identify the experiences of smoking and smoking cessation in out-of-school youth. Methods: The participants were 12 out-of-school youths belonging the Youth support Center located in A and B area. The data were collected from January 8 to 15, 2018, using a FGI(Focus Group Interview). The main sub-domains of the experiences of smoking and smoking cessation in out-of-school youth by 7 questions were categorized from the intrapersonal, interpersonal, organizational, and community factors in ecological model. Results: The motivation, continuity, disadvantage of smoking experiences of out-of-school youth were analyzed in 10 sub-domains (curiosity, friend's invitation, mood of adapted group, habit, relieving stress, providing breaks, friendship, physical damage, loss of money, a bad sight of smoker). The reason, difficulty, advantage, reason for restarting smoking cessation experiences of out-of-school youth were analyzed in 15 sub-domains (physical damage, for future hope, invitation of others, influence of family, weight gain, emotional stress, worsening friendship, improvement physical condition, saving money, better relationships, not with bad friends, withdrawal, smoking of friends, drinking, separated a lover). Conclusion: Based on the results, it is expected that a Specialized Smoking Cessation Education Program will be developed for out-of-school youth's health activities in ecological factors.

The Impact of Parental Attachment on Career Barriers for Out-of-School Youth : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Self-esteem

  • 본 연구는 부모 애착과 학교 밖 청소년의 진로 장벽 간의 경로에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 살펴보고 학교 밖 청소년의 진로 장벽 수준 감소를 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 분석자료로 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수행한 학업 중단 청소년 패널조사 5차 연도 데이터를 활용하여, 학교 밖 청소년 318명을 분석에 활용하였다. 통계 프로그램 SPSS 23.0과 Amos 23.0 version을 이용한 분석결과, 부모 애착 하위 요인인 정서적 지지와 진로 장벽의 모든 하위 요인 간의 경로에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이런 결과는 학교 밖 청소년의 진로 장벽 수준에 영향을 미치는 부모 애착(정서적 지지, 경제적 지지)과 자아존중감의 향상을 위한 다각적인 차원의 노력이 필요함을 시사한다. 이에 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학교 밖 청소년 부모 교육과 자아존중감 향상을 위한 실천적인 방안을 구체적으로 제시하였다.

학교 밖 청소년의 금연시도에 영향을 미치는 사회생태학적 요인 (Effects of the Socio-Ecological Factors for Attempts to Quit-Smoking in Out-of-School Youths)

  • Purpose: The study was undertaken to determine the socio-ecological convergence factors affecting on attempts to quit smoking in out-of-school youths. Methods: The study participants were 187 out-of-school youths enrolled Youth support Centers, collected from November 2018 to February 2019, analyzed through x2test and independent sample t-test, logistic regression analysis. Results: There was a significant differences and associated within daily smoking amounts, age of start smoking, intense physical activity, intake breakfast, smoking cessation self-efficiency, and smoking attitude among socio-ecological characteristics according to attempts of quit-smoking. Conclusion: The results of this study will be provided a basic data for developing The Quit-Smoking Intervention Program for out-of-school youth's health activities.

  • This study was carried out to strengthen institution of international youth change in rural area. References, in the field of international cooperation international youth exchange and youth's volunteer service were reviewed. Considering rural situation, poor human resources in terms of foreign languages and globalization are major problems for international youth exchange. Such problems as poor network among relevant organizations for international youth change, low level of rural internationalization and lacking of development plan for exchange program were pointed out. For effective international youth exchange, the following strategies were suggested : 1) networking among youth, local government, industries and community, 2) youth education for global citizenship, 3) globalization of local industries, local government, and rural community, et.c.

북한이탈청소년의 학교중도탈락 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting School Drop-out Intention of North Korean Refugee Youth)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 북한이탈 청소년의 학교중도탈락의 영향요인과 그 영향의 정도를 밝히고, 결과를 근거로 사회복지실천 개입전략과 정책적 제안을 마련하는 것이다. 성별, 학업성취역량 인식, 자아존중감, 학교 문화적응스트레스와 같은 개인내적 특성이 학교중도탈락의 주요 영향요인이며, 부모 양육의 질, 또래애착, 가족의 경제수준, 정착기간 등의 환경적 요인들은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론에서 본 연구가 갖는 이론적 기여, 실천 정책적 함의에 대하여 논의하였다.

Intermediation Effect of Parental Support on the Psychological Emotion of School Dropouts

  • In this study, we wanted to examine the effects of social stigma on the psychological emotions of out-of-school youths and the mediating effects of parental emotional support in the relationship between these variables. To that end the National Youth Policy Institute dropout Youth Panel Survey of the Experimental (2017) 318 with data. The study method used the AMOS 7.0 program to check the suitability of the structural model and the significance of the direct and indirect effects. Through this study, we will first look at the relationship between social stigma and psychological sentiment of out-of-school youths, social stigma and parental emotional support. Second, we would like to examine how social stigma among out-of-school teens affects psychological sentiment. Third, we would like to examine the mediated effect of parental emotional support in the influence of social stigma on psychological sentiment of out-of-school youths. Based on the results of this study, we would like to support the existing prior studies related to out-of-school youth and further propose practical intervention measures that can be used in counseling and education sites. We would also like to discuss suggestions for further research.

학교 밖 청소년의 금연의도 관련요인: 계획된 행위이론 변수를 중심으로 (Factors Related to Quit-Smoking Intention among Out-of-school Youths : Based on the Planned Behavioral Theory)

  • Purpose: This study was undertaken to identify factors related to quit-smoking intention based on the planned behavior theory among out-of-school youths. Methods: This study was a quantitative research, data were collected during Nov. 1. 2018 to Feb. 28, 2019, study subjects were 189 out-of-school youths in Youth support Center located in A, B, C area city. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression. Results: There was a significant differences of quit smoking intention according to age, weekly allowance, participate of antismoking program. There were positive correlations between quit smoking intention and attitude to non-smoking and perceived behavior control. In smoking cessation intention influenced by predictive variable, age, weekly allowance, attitude to non-smoking, and perceived behavior control explain 26.8% smoking cessation intention. Conclusion: We believe that findings from this study will help to develop the specific smoking cessation education program for out-of-school youth's health behaviors.

학교 밖 청소년의 생활실태와 행복감 관련 변인 (The Current Status of Life and Happiness of Out of School Youth)

  • 본 연구는 천안시의 학교밖 청소년 250명을 대상으로 생활실태와 심리적 특성을 분석하고 행복감에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하여, 학교밖 청소년들의 행복감 증진을 위한 정책적 제언을 하고자 수행되었다. 분석 방법은 SPSS PC+ Win. 21.0을 활용하여 기술통계분석, 신뢰도분석, 평균비교분석, 상관분석 및 다중회귀분석을 하였고, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정문제로 학업을 중단한 청소년의 자아존중감이 다른 이유로 학업을 중단한 청소년보다 낮았고, 행복감은 학업중단 기간이 2년 이상인 청소년이 가장 낮았다. 둘째, 학교밖 청소년들은 하루 중 수면 7.9시간, 일 3.91시간 등으로 사용하였고, 활동 장소는 집 10.73시간, 일터 3.66시간 등이었으며, 장래계획은 취업계획이 가장 많았고, 친구는 함께 게임 놀이할 친구가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 학교밖 청소년의 자아존중감, 희망 및 행복감 간에는 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 넷째, 학교밖 청소년의 행복감에 대한 상대적 영향은 자아존중감이 가장 높았고, 희망, 취업계획, 가정소득수준 순이었다.

농촌청소년의 직업의사결정 분석 (A Study on Vocational Decision Making of Rural Youth)

  • The purposes of this study were to explore the differences of decision making in farming settlement and to analyze attributes for vocational decision making of rural youth. The study was carried out by literature review and questionnaire. To analyze vocational decision making of rural youth, the data were collected from 196 rural youth by stratified random sampling. The SPSSWIN/ver10 was used for analyzing data with frequency, percentage, t-test ANOVA and factor analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows; 1) Rural youth decided to become farmers at the middle and high school stage for farming succession and eco-friendly life orientation. 2) Youth parents were the major source of influence on their rural youth to settle in farming. 3) Rural youth with high economic status, upper academic achievement and university graduation showed higher autonomous decision making and lower heteronomous decision making. 4) Rural youth with low economic status and low academic achievement showed unstable vocational decision making. 5) The study suggested that rural youth with unstable decision making should get more educational opportunities and supports.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감이 진로장애와 우울을 매개로 스마트폰중독에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감이 스마트폰중독에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 진로장애와 우울의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구대상은 한국청소년정책연구원의 학교 밖 청소년패널 5차년도 조사에 참여한 대상자 318명이었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감, 진로장애, 우울, 스마트폰중독은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감은 진로장애와 우울을 거쳐 스마트폰중독에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 이중매개가 확인되었다. 또한, 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감이 스마트폰중독에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 진로장애와 우울 각각 매개를 확인하였으나 사회적 낙인감은 스마트폰중독에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학교 밖 청소년의 스마트폰중독을 예방하고 청소년 코칭에서의 개입 방안과 시사점을 제시하였다.
