중소기업경영자의 긍정적 리더십, 구성원의 긍정적 삶의 태도, 학습조직활동, 직무열의, 조직성과 변인간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationships among SEM CEO's Positive Leadership, Members' Positive Life Positions, Learning Organization Activities, Job Engagement, and Organizational Performance)

  • Purpose - In today's era of globalization, the competitive power of enterprises is growing fiercer, calling for organizations to be able to respond flexibly to survive and maintain predominance in competition. In turn, keen competition exists among enterprises for the systematic management of members' knowledge to secure predominance in such competition. Under such circumstances, SMEs must find and utilize positive causes for change that affect organizational performance. The objective of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between four factors known from prior research-a CEO's positive leadership, members' positive life positions, learning organization activities, and job engagement-and organizational performance. Research design, data, and methodology - To achieve this objective, this study established the following four research problems. First, do CEOs' positive leadership, members' positive life positions, learning organization activities, and job engagement affect organizational performance? Second, do CEOs' positive leadership, members' positive life positions, and learning organization activities affect job engagement? Third, do CEOs' positive leadership and members' positive life positions affect learning organization activities? Fourth, does CEOs' positive leadership affect members' positive life positions. Additionally, to achieve the objective of this study, the research model was selected on the basis of a documentary survey of 787 full-time employees at 100 SMEs, which was used to collect related data. Results - The following conclusions were drawn. First, a CEO's positive leadership directly affects members' positive life positions, learning organization activities, and job engagement. Second, positive leadership only indirectly affects organizational performance. That is, positive leadership has an indirect effect on organizational performance given the parameters of members' positive life positions, learning organization activities, and job engagement. Third, members' positive life positions directly affect learning organization activities and job engagement, but indirectly affect organizational performance with learning organization activities and job engagement as parameters. Fourth, learning organization activities directly affect job engagement and organizational performance. Additionally, learning organization activities indirectly affect organizational performance with job engagement as a parameter. Fifth, job engagement directly affects organizational performance. Conclusions - A CEO's positive leadership and members' positive life positions do not directly affect organizational performance but have a positive effect through learning organization activities and job engagement. In particular, CEOs' positive leadership was proven to be the major factor to affect members' positive life positions, learning organization attitudes, and job engagement, and learning organization activities and job engagement were found to be major factors that directly affect organizational performance. Considering these conclusions, the direct effect of a CEO's positive leadership on organizational performance is not statistically significant but seems to affect members' positive life positions, learning organization activities, and job engagement, which ultimately affects organizational performance. In addition, CEOs' positive leadership is an important factor that enhances the factors with the strongest effect on organizational performance-activities of learning organizations and job engagement.

SCM통합과 기업성과의 인과관계 분석 (A Causality Analysis between SCM Integration and Firm Performance)

  • Supply chain management (SCM) aims to provide the coordination and execution of planning and decision-making in multi organization-wide production and distribution. The advancement of information technology and the globalization of market promote SCM integration. Information sharing has become a major driver of competitive advantage in SCM. In this research, we aim to analyze the influence of SCM integration on firm performance and the role of information sharing between SCM integration and firm performance. Of the 750 questionnaires posted, a total of 218 questionnaires were collected after one follow-up. A total of 199 questionnaires were analyzed after 19 questionnaires were eliminated due to largely missing values. We used structural equation modeling technique to validate the causal relationship between SCM integration, information sharing, and firm performance. The results suggest that improved SCM integration both within the focal company (intra-organization) and across companies (inter-organization) enhances firm performance positively. Information sharing acts as a mediator between the SCM integration and the firm performance. Intra-organization SCM integration is positively related to inter-organization SCM integration, namely, SCM integration with suppliers and customers. The results suggest that internal integration of SCM significantly influences external integration with customers and suppliers. The result also shows that supply chain integration has a positive influence on firm performance and information sharing positively impacts firm performance as well.

기능적 조직 형태에 따른 TQM 실행요소와 운영성과간의 관계에 관한 연구 (An empirical study on the relationship between Total Quality Management Practices and Operational Performance depending on Functional Organization Types)

  • This study aims to examine the relationship between total quality management(TQM) practices and operational performance perceived by employees who are in different functional organization types, R&D function and Non-R&D function organization in manufacturing companies. Operational performance is defined as the degree of operation efficiency in the perspective of quality, delivery, and cost. Our study showed that the significant elements of TQM practice were different depending on functional organization types. In case of R&D organization, the categories of customer focus and process management were the strongest significant predictors of operational performance. Therefore, the optimal TQM practices for R&D organization can be obtained in consideration of customer focus and process management.

  • Many corporations are accepting various kinds of business reform techniques to be adapted and overcome in this e-Business period. Among these techniques, team-organization is selected most in person/organization field. The introduction of team-organization is more needed and spread, so many corporations actually constructed team-organization formation form. But the result has not been active. Therefore after team-organization is introduced to improve the performance evaluation of team management, the result of team management performance should be correctly measured to find out and settle the problems of team-organization. The purpose of this research presents the development of the model of team-management performance evaluation and the method of the proper measurement based on BSC.

산업보안요원의 직무만족이 조직몰입과 조직성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Job Satisfaction of Industrial Security Guards on Organization Commitment and Organization Performance)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 산업기술 보호의 필요성과 기술보호를 위한 산업보안요원들의 직무만족이 조직몰입과 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 이에 대한 개선점을 도출하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 실무에서 산업보안요원으로 근무하고 있는 150여 근무자들을 대상으로 2023년 8월 28부터 9월 22일까지 4주간 설문조사를 시도하였다. 설문내용을 보면 변수를 "첫째 직무만족, 둘째 조직몰입, 셋째 조직성과"로 구성하였으며 이를 바탕으로 연구가설을 3개 제안하였다. 각 측정항목들의 내적 일관성이 충족한 것을 확인하고 판별타당성과 개념 신뢰도를 산출하였으며 각 변수들의 판별타당성을 검증하였다. 분석결과, 연구모형을 검증하기 위하여 회귀분석을 시행한 이후 그 결과를 보면 연구가설 3개 중에서 "직무만족 ⇨ 조직몰입, 직무만족 ⇨ 조직성과"는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 도출되어 채택하였으나, "조직몰입 ⇨ 조직성과"는 유의하지 않는 것으로 산출되어 기각되었다.

A study on the Influence of Family-Friendly Program on Organizational Life and Job Commitment and Performance -Focusing on police officer organization-

  • Investigations into family-friendly company culture have been carried out for various companies and conglomerates. But there has never been such investigation for police organization, so this investigation is intended to see the effect on organizational commitment and job performance of the organization culture that makes use of family-friendly program for the police organization. To this end, how the internal factors of family-friendly organization culture affects organization commitment and job performance is empirically analyzed with structural equation modeling. And it is found that family-friendly program has significant effect on organizational life and welfare, and the welfare, in return, is found to have significant effect on job performance.

The Role of Business Capabilities in Supporting Organization Agility and Performance During the COVID-19 Pandemic: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • This study aims to analyze the important role of business analytics capability, information quality, and innovation capability in influencing organization agility and organization performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data was collected from 76 companies from various sectors in Indonesia. Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship between variables and test a series of hypotheses. Importance-Performance Matrix Analysis (IPMA), a useful analysis approach in PLS-SEM, is used, which extends the results of the estimated path coefficient (importance) by adding a dimension that considers the average values of the latent variable scores (performance). The IPMA approach examines not only the performance of an item but also the importance of that item. The results show that business analytics capability has a significant effect on information quality and innovation capability which then affects organization agility. Organizational performance is influenced by organizational agility. IPMA results show that organizational agility has the highest level of impact on organizational performance. This study will assist companies in planning business analytics, improving information quality, increasing innovation capability, and ultimately increasing agility and performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study will add to existing knowledge about previous literature, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하는 조직문화가 학습조직과 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the effect of organizational culture recognized by organizational members of public organizations on learning organization and organizational performance)

  • 본 연구는 공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하는 조직 내 조직문화가 학습조직과 조직성과에 미치는 영향관계를 알아보기 위한 연구로 연구자가 2016년 공조직(지자체, 지자체 산하 재단, 공기업)을 대상으로 연구용역 및 자문을 실시한 350명을 대상으로 하였다. 설문에 대한 응답은 350부 중 최종 313부를 SPSS 20.0의 통계패키지 프로그램과 AMOS 20.0을 이용하여 연구모형에 대한 연구가설을 검증하였다. 연구모형에 대한 연구가설을 검증한 결과 첫째, 연구가설 1인 공조직의 조직문화는 학습조직에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미칠 것이라는 결과 공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 조직문화는 학습조직에 긍정적인 영향관계를 나타내었다. 즉, 공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 조직문화가 학습조직을 구축하는데 주요 영향 요인임을 나타낸 것이다. 둘째, 연구가설 2인 조직문화와 조직성과 간의 영향관계에 대한 결과 공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 조직문화는 긍정적인 영향관계를 나타내었으며, 이는 공조직의 조직성과를 향상하기 위해 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 조직문화에 대한 인식전환과 활성화 방안에 대한 중요성을 의미한다. 셋째, 연구가설 3인 공조직의 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 조직문화는 조직성과에 영향관계를 나타내었으며, 학습조직을 매개로 한 조직성과에도 정(+)의 영향관계를 나타내었다. 이는 공조직에서 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 조직문화는 학습조직을 통해 조직성과에 영향관계를 나타내고 있음에 따라, 공조직의 특성에 부합된 조직문화 구축 방안과 학습조직 내실화 및 조직성과 향상에 대한 다양한 실행방안이 요구되었다.

내부마케팅이 직무만족, 애호도, 기업성과에 미치는 영향 : 로지스틱회귀분석 방법을 이용 (Internal Marketing Approach to Internal Satisfaction, Loyalty and Organization Performance : Using Logistics Regression)

  • As interests in the management of government-owned corporation rise, in these days, debt reduction and normalization of management of those companies have been proceeding under the lead of government. At this point, it is very important to seek internal marketing method for improvement of internal employees' satisfaction, loyalty and organization performance. This study analyzes impact of factors of internal marketing effect on organization satisfaction, loyalty and organization performance in the context of the domestic public companies, the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-WATER)'s employees empirically. There are some significant differences between the two publics. It is proved that delegation of the authority influences on internal satisfaction and organization performance in the case of KEPCO, and education and training influence on internal satisfaction and organization performance in the case of K-WATER. On the other hand, in the case of K-WATER, any internal marketing factors don't influence on loyalty. The results of this study show somewhat different characteristics depending on the characteristics of firm, however, it is expected that this study can be very useful in regards to similar public enterprises or businesses.

조직요인과 지식정보 특성 요인이 지식관리 시스템의 조직성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Organization Factors and Knowledge Information Characteristic Factors on Organization Performance of Knowledge Management System)

  • 본 연구는 지식관리시스템을 도입하여 운영 중인 기업체와 기관들을 대상으로 지식관리시스템의 도입요인이 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 조직요인의 하위변수 중 최고책임자의 지원은 조직성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 둘째, 지식정보요인의 하위변수인 지식정보의 품질, 지식정보의 신뢰성, 이용편리성은 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직요인의 하위변수 중 비전과 목표는 조직성과에 영향을 미치지 않는 변수로 분석되었다. 이와 같은 본 연구의 분석결과는 선행연구 결과와 일치하는 것임을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 핵심전략과 비전의 수립, 비전과 전략의 명확성과 구체성, 지식관리의 필요성, 핵심지식의 규정화 등으로 측정된 비전과 목표는 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 변수로 분석되어 선행연구 결과와는 다르게 분석되었음을 알 수 있었다.
