전후 처리 기능을 포함하는 조립라인 설계 방법론 (A Study on the Assembly Line Design Tool with a Pre/Post Process)

  • According to a simple survey on the current status of the assembly line design, it was found that trial and error methods on the basis of experiences have been used mainly in domestic manufacturing industries, even though there exist a lot of excellent line balancing studies. It seems that more practical researches should be carried out to develop user-oriented line balancing tools especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. This study presents a design of the line balancing tool which can support the line balancing tasks of nonspecialists. The proposed design tool is composed of three major modules: pre-process, line balancing, and post-process. In particular, pre-process and post-process are newly proposed to increase its ease of use. We applied the proposed design to a test problem and test result showed that our practical method may contribute to enhance the efficiency of production operations management.

  • System on panel 프레임 버퍼를 위한 메모리 셀 어레이와 주변회로가 설계되었다. 또한, system on panel 공정의 낮은 yield를 극복하기 위해, 블럭 단위의 parallel test 방안이 제안되었다. 기존의 메모리 테스트 보다 빠르게 fault detection이 가능하며, 다양한 embedded memory나 일반 SRAM 테스트 분야에도 적용 가능하다. 또한 기존의 다양한 test vector pattern이 그대로 적용될 수 있어 fault coverage가 높고, 최근의 추세인 hierarchical bit line과 divided word line 구조에도 적용될 수 있다.

델타변환 무정전전원장치 시스템의 특성 시험 (Test on Characteristics of Delta Conversion UPS System)

  • 본 논문에서는 일명 델타변환 무정전전원장치(UPS)로서 알려져 있는 3상 라인 인터랙티브 UPS 시스템의 성능 시험에 대해서 다루고 있다. 델타변환 UPS는 종래의 단일 변환 라인 인터랙티브 UPS 시스템에서 직렬 인덕터를 제거하고 직렬 및 병렬 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 컨버터를 사용하는 새로운 라인 인터랙티브 UPS 시스템으로 전원 전류를 직접 제어함으로써 UPS 시스템의 입출력 특성들이 상당히 개선되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 여기서는 UPS 시스템의 성능 시험에서 중요한 내용들인 부하시험, 정전/복전시험, 동기절체 시험 등에 대한 결과들을 제시하고 델타변환 UPS 시스템에 대한 전반적인 평가를 한다.

  • Korean High Speed Train(KHST) has been tested on the high speed test line in Osung site of Korea High Speed Rail Construction Authority (KHRC). since it was developed as G7 Project Plan In 2002. This paper introduces the dynamic test devices in KHST and shows the comparison between the results of test and theoretical computing results which derive from the new model for KHST dynamic behavior. Previous computer simulation model for KHST was developed to review wether the vehicle system was satisfied with the dynamic performance requirements during the design procedure. But It should be applied the results of the parts test for suspension elements in order to compare between the results of computation and real test. Using VAMPIRE Program made by AEA Technology in UK. the new model also was modified. This paper shows that the static wheel loads calculated from new model is similar to test results. For test on high speed line, we prepared the test devices for evaluating the dynamic performances. which was consisted of the accelerometers( based on Kisler Co.) and the data aquisition systems (based on National instrument Co.), and test program coded by LabView 6i program. These lest devices and programs are flexible to extension the channels for adding sensors and connect to the ethernet network. The acceleration of car bodies, bogie frames and axle boxes were compared between the results of computation and test at 150km/. This paper shows that the results of test were high in high frequency band range but similar frequency band range. It might be considered that these differences were caused by the test which did not performed at constant speed for comparison analysis. Also. It will be able to understand the differences and make better results through a lot of tests planed in future.

한국형 고속 전철을 활용한 기존선 속도향상 고찰 (Speed Up Test on conventional Line by using Korean High Speed Train(HSR-350x))

  • KTX has started commercial service from Seoul to Busan and Mokpo since April 1, 2004. The service line is composed of new-high speed line and conventional line. Before KTX is runs, the maximum operational speed on conventional line was 140km/h. In order to reduce the traveling time, operation speed of KTX must be increased on the conventional line. So, we performed test running with prototype HSR-350x and verification of safety was made in $10\%$ speed-up. Korean High Speed Train HSR-350x) was developed by G7 - R&D project. In this study, in safety aspect, several technical reviews are introduced and the possibility for reduction of traveling time is investigated on the conventional line by using HSR-350x.

Considerations on the Long-term Reliability of On-line Partial Discharge Ceramic Sensor for Thermal Power Generators and its Demonstration in the Field

  • The present study describes the considerations on the long-term reliability of the on-line partial discharge (PD) ceramic sensor for thermal power generators. Voltage acceleration aging tests were carried out under continuous and impulsive thermal aging at more than $100^{\circ}C$, considering the practical service environment. Experimental results show that the sensors have a life that could last for more than 100 years, excellent dielectric characteristics, and insulation strength. In addition, the ceramic on-line PD sensors were installed in a thermal power generator in Korea for demonstration. The results of the PD calibration and test voltage application prove that the on-line ceramic sensors have satisfactory performances for on-line PD measurement.

실증시험을 통한 지중배전선로 모델링 기법 검증 연구 (Verification of Underground Distribution Line Modeling with Field Test)

  • This paper described the verification of modeling technique of underground distribution from comparison between field test and simulation. It needs more exact transient phenomenon analysis model to establish lightning protection of underground distribution line. Although, there were a lot of transient phenomenon researches, nobody could has verified the confidence of modeling from field tests in interior until now. So, simulation model verified field test is needed to analyse transient phenomenon of underground distribution system. The examination must be accomplished in many different condition before suggesting these verified analysis model. In this paper, the conditions were examined and the various data results on the different line composition was compared with the EMTP simulation, when the lightning impulse test was accomplished at underground distribution line. Also the value between field test and simulation was very closed and the method of modeling has demonstrated confidence, when the method is used to analyse domestic transient phenomenon of underground distribution.

축광노면표시의 실내 및 현장 휘도 성능분석과 디지털이미지를 이용한 휘도분석 사전연구 (Performance Analysis of Laboratory and Field Luminance for Phosphorescent Line Marking and Preliminary Study of Luminance Analysis Using Digital Images)

  • OBJECTIVES : Visibility at night can be improved by using retroreflection for short distances and phosphorescent line markings for long distances. In this study, we analyzed the characteristics of the phosphorescent line marking through a laboratory luminance test. Field performance analysis was performed through tests conducted on the road. We also examined the luminance measurement methods using the digital image obtained during the phosphorescent visibility evaluation. METHODS : In this study, the laboratory luminance test of the phosphorescent line marking was conducted using seven specimens to characterize the luminance changes according to the type of the glass beads, the thickness of the phosphorescent line marking, and the brightness and irradiation time of the light source. Phosphorescent and general line markings were made at 150 m to investigate the field luminance performance. A preliminary review of the luminance measurement methods was made using a digital image from a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera. The measured luminance ratio of the general and the phosphorescent line markings was compared with the calculated luminance ratio using luminance analysis. RESULTS : Through the laboratory luminance test, it was seen that the change in luminance, which corresponds to the brightness of the light source, appears large but the influence of the thickness and irradiation time is low. The field performance test of the phosphorescent line marking conducted on the road involved measuring the luminance on the day the marking was made and 7 days after the marking was made. The luminance was found to be $190mcd/m^2$ at 30 min after sunset and approximately $10-12mcd/m^2$ 4h after sunset. The results of the luminance test were captured using a digital image for each time group. The luminance ratio of the phosphorescent line marking, when compared to that of the general line marking, showed a similar trend within a 13% maximum error. Additionally, when this luminance ratio is compared to the direct field measurement, it could be confirmed that the luminance ratio, as captured in the digital image, showed a similar tendency. CONCLUSIONS : 1) The change in luminance corresponding to the brightness of the light source is significant in comparison with that corresponding to the thickness and the irradiation time. In addition, the results of the field test for the phosphorescent line marking satisfied the phosphorescent fire protection standard. 2) We examined the validity of the luminance measurement method using a digital image and we concluded that the change in the luminance ratio shows a similar tendency in both the cases. The results can form the basis for luminance measurement methodology for the construction and maintenance of phosphorescent line markings.

원심모형실험을 이용한 모래지반에 관입된 계류선 거동 평가 (Evaluation of Behaviors on Mooring Line Embedded in Sand Using Centrifuge Test)

  • When an anchor penetrates and is installed under a seabed, a portion of the mooring line connected to the anchor is also embedded under the seabed. This embedded mooring line affects the capacity of the anchor in two ways. First, the frictional resistance that occurs between the mooring line and the seabed reduces the pulling force acting on the anchor. Second, the embedded part of the mooring line forms a reverse catenary shape due to the bearing resistance of the soil, so that an inclined pulling force is applied to the anchor. To evaluate the mooring line's effect on the capacity of an anchor in sand, centrifuge model tests were performed using two relative sand densities of 76% and 51% while changing the anchor depths. The test results showed that the load is reduced much more in deep and dense sand, and the inclination angle of the load is lower in shallow and loose sand.

원거리 사위도가 입체시에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Distance Phoria on Stereoacuity)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 Carl Zeiss사의 Pola Test E-II를 이용하여 성인 대상자의 평균 원거리 입체시를 측정하였으며, 사위 교정에 따른 원거리 입체시의 변화를 평가하였다. 방법: 성인(19~46세) 50명(남 29명, 여 21명)을 대상으로 Pola Test E-II의 D6 Circle 시표와 D8 Line 시표를 이용하여 원거리 입체시를 조사하였다. 결과: 원거리 평균 입체시는 D6 Circle 검사의 경우에 159.6초, D8 Line 검사의 경우에 149.4초를 각각 나타냈다. 사위성분과 사위량에 따른 사위교정 전 후 원거리 입체시의 변화는 D6 Circle 검사의 경우에 외사위는 평균 43.2초 증가하였으며, 내사위는 평균 51초 증가하였다. D8 Line 검사의 경우에 외사위는 평균 42초 증가하였으며, 내사위는 평균 70.2초 증가하였다. 결론: 입체시 검사 결과로부터 내사위인 경우에 외사위인 경우보다 사위교정 후 입체시가 더 크게 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.
