Impact of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Job Satisfaction through Empowerment

  • 본 연구는 서울시에 소재한 일반기업의 사무직 종사자 546명을 대상으로 조직시민행동, 임파워먼트 그리고 직무만족의 관련성에 대해 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 21.0을 이용하여 실증분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 조직시민행동의 임파워먼트 관계에서 참여적 행동이 자기결정력에 정(+)의 영향을 주었고, 임파워먼트 요소인 자기 결정력과 영향력/의미성이 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 조직시민행동과 직무만족의 관계에서는 이타주의가 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 직무만족에 대한 직접효과와 간접효과를 살펴보면, 조직시민행동의 이타주의는 직접효과가 높았고, 참여적 행동은 간접효과의 값이 더 높았다. 반면에 임파워먼트의 요소인 자기결정력과 영향력/의미성은 조직시민행동보다 높은 값을 나타냈다. 따라서 직무만족에 영향을 주는 요소는 임파워먼트가 가장 중요한 요소임을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 구성원들에게 부여된 임파워먼트의 효과성을 지속적으로 모니터링하고, 교육을 통해 업무 역할에 대한 의미성과 자기결정력을 제고하면 자율성이 높아져 조직의 활성화에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

의료기관 종사자의 직무스트레스 요인이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 : 대전지역 병원 중심으로 (The Effect of Hospital Employees' Job Stress Factors on the Turnover Intention : Focused on the Daejeon Metropolitan City)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze job stress factors of hospital workers, which has an effect on their turnover intention. For identifying the influences on turnover intention, types of hospitals (university hospital, general hospital, private hospital) and types of workers(office workers, technical workers, and nursing staffs) were categorized. We went to the hospitals and carried out the survey under the cooperation with the concerned hospitals. The period of survey was from 23. Sep. 2013 to 30. Oct. 2013, and 293 worker participated in the survey. On the basis of the previous study, the measurement of job stress factors and turnover intention was set up as the survey method, and its reliability and validity were measured. The stress factors were subdivided into seven factors; occupational climate, organizational system, autonomy job control, uncertainty of getting a new job, job ability to perform, job demand, job ambiance. The value of job stress factors by the measuring instrument, Cronbach's Alpha, was 0.805 and the value of the subordination variable of turnover intention was 0.881. IBM SPSS Statistics 21 was used as the statistic analysis tool and the descriptive statistics about job stress factors. As a result, the turnover intention were analyzed depending on the types of hospitals, job groups, working years, and gender. Result shows that the job stress factors are differed according to the types of hospitals, and these job stress factors have influence on turnover intention. Therefore, it could be considered that, if the hospital managers find out the major job stress factors of their employees and resolve them in advance, the job stress of the hospital workers and their turnover intention can be reduced.

제 4기 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용한 근로자들의 근로형태, 작업환경 및 유해요인 노출과 건강검진결과의 관련성 (The Association of Employment Status, Workplace Environment, and Hazard Exposure with Health Outcome in the Adult Korean Population according to KNHANES IV)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to investigate the current status of the association of job-related information such as employment status, workplace environment, and hazard material exposures with health examination outcomes. Methods: The study used data from KNHANES 2007-2009 representing the three years of 2007-2009, which was conducted annually using a rolling sampling design that involved a complex, stratified, multistage, probability-cluster survey of a representative sample of the non-institutionalized civilian population in Korea. The final analytical sample consisted of 17,240 participants. Information on age, education, smoking history and alcohol intake was collected during the health interview. Job related information consisted of employment status, workplace environment, and hazardous material exposure. The selected indices of health examination were blood pressure, fasting glucose, blood cholesterol, HDL, SGOT, SGPT, and BUN. Results: In multiple logistic regression analysis using hypertension and pre-hypertension as dependent variables and job related categories as independent variables after covariate adjustments, the odds of hypertension and pre-hypertension were significantly lower in those with responsibility and power in their job activities. Interestingly, low odds for hypertension were observed among those who reported that their jobs were fast-paced. Conclusions: This study confirmed that some job-related categories in employment status, workplace environment, and hazardous material exposure had an association with health outcome status. It is worthwhile to comment that high responsibility and power in job activities were revealed as one of the important favorable factors to improve health condition of workers.

전라북도 내 화학사고 특성분석과 사고 발생 저감을 위한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Chemical Accidents and Reduction of Accidents in Jeollabuk-do)

  • 본 연구는 2004년부터 2019년까지 16년간 전라북도 내에서 발생한 40건의 화학사고 특성을 알아보기 위하여 진행하였다. 도내에서는 연평균 2.5건의 사고가 발생하였다. 사고유형을 유·누출, 화재, 폭발, 이상반응, 복합사고로 분류한 결과, 유·누출은 34건, 폭발은 6건 발생하였다. 사고원인으로는 작업자과실 12건, 시설결함·노후화 16건, 운송사고 12건 발생하였다. 사고 원인물질로는 암모니아가 15%, 황산 12.5%, 테트라 클로로 실리콘 7.5% 순으로 나타났다. 계절별 화학사고 발생률을 확인한 결과 봄·여름이 75%로 가을·겨울에 비해 높게 조사되었다. 화학사고 발생 저감을 위해서는 관련법의 철저한 준수가 선행되어야 하고, 취급자의 안전교육과 훈련을 강화해야 한다. 더불어 취급시설 개선을 위한 정부의 적극적 지원이 필요하다.

종업원에 대한 보상전략이 몰입에 미치는 영향: 재택근무와의 비교를 중심으로 (An Investigation of the Impacts of Employer's Rewards Strategies on Employee's Commitment with Comparison of Home-based Contact Center)

  • 정보기술의 발달에 따라 집에서 근무하는 재택근무제는 조직과 조직원 모두에게 도움이 되는 미래지향적인 근무방식으로 인식되고 있으며, 선진국을 중심으로 재택근무제에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 기업에 요구되는 비용절감 압력 가중에 따라서 재택근무제가 조직 경쟁력 제고의 중요한 수단으로 고려되고 있으나, 재택근무제도에서 발생할 수 있는 조직원의 이탈 및 통제 문제에 대한 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구에서 논의되었던 보상전략들과 조직몰입의 관계를 재택 및 내근의 상이한 근무제도 상황에서 비교하여 제시하였다. 이를 통하여, 상이한 근무제도에서 기업이 선택해야할 보상전략을 찾고자 하였다. 연구의 결과, 기업의 외재적 내재적 보상이 근로자의 지속적 몰입에 미치는 영향요소임을 확인하였으며, 근로자가 지각하는 정서적 몰입이 규범적 몰입을 매개로 지속적 몰입에 영향을 미치는 단계적 과정을 검증하였다. 특히, 보상지원전략이 조직원의 몰입에 미치는 영향이 근무제도(내근직과 재택근무)에 따라 상이하게 발생함이 실증하였다.

남자 근로자의 식생활과 생활습관이 건강상태에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Food Behavior and Life-Style Behavior on Health Status in Male Industrial Workers)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of food behavior and life-style behavior on the health-status of male industrial workers in the Masan region. The average age of the 173 male subjects was 42.9 years and 59% of the subjects were labor workers, 25% office workers, and 70% of them earned 1 - 1.5 million won monthly. The subjects were categorized into one of three groups : normal group, health-concerned group, and disease-suspected group classified by the criteria of the data (blood pressure, blood glucose, blood hemoglobin, serum total cholesterol, and serum triglyceride) obtained from a health examination. Forty seven belonged to the normal group, 71 to the health-concerned group, and 55 to the disease-suspected group. The health-concerned group, and disease-suspected group had significantly higher systolic and diastolic blood pressure, blood glucose, and serum total cholesterol than the normal group, and the disease-suspected group showed a significantly higher serum triglyceride level than the normal and health-concerned groups. The disease-suspected group consumed carbohydrate foods, such as cereals more frequently and protein foods such as beans and eggs less frequently than the normal group and health-concerned group. However, there was no difference in nutrient intakes among the three groups. The disease-suspected group and health-concerned group smoked more cigarettes and drank more frequently than the normal group, and the disease-suspected group exercised less as compared to the normal group. The kinds of diseases diagnosed in the disease-suspected group were hypertension, hyperlipidemia, liver disease, and neurological disease. The results of this study indicate that nutrition education and monitoring should be implemented for industrial workers to prevent chronic diseases and to reduce medical cost for the treatment of disease.

병원근무자의 직무만족 요인 분석 (Job Satisfaction of Hospital Employees)

  • Purpose: To identify job satisfaction of hospital employees and the relating factors Methods: The study sample was a total of 1,031 healthcare workers(doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical engineers, office workers, etc) at a tertiary teaching hospital. The data were collected using a questionnaire developed by a expert group. The questionnaire consisted of 21 items including job characteristics, organizational culture, and personal characteristics on the five Likert scale. Results: The overall satisfaction on job characteristics was 3.24 on the five Likert scale. The satisfaction of each item was 4.14 in role clarity, 3.26 in communication participating rate, 3.10 in work variety, 3.06 in autonomy, and 2.64 in workload. The overall satisfaction on organizational culture was 3.00. Particularly, the satisfaction on collaboration was 3.83, co-worker's support. 3.73, identity, 3.62, education/training opportunity, 3.12, pay, 2.62, welfare, 2.35, promotion, 2.34, and organizational conflict, 2.00. The level of satisfaction on personal characteristics was 3.00. In the satisfaction of each item, the score of disposition was 3.83, contribution to the hospital, 3.75, pride as a member of hospital, 3.70, and attitude on job performance, 3.68. The correlation between satisfaction and other variables was statistically significant with the exception of work variety. The satisfaction related significantly to loyalty index(r=.486, p=.000), autonomy(r=.415, p=.000), pride as a member of hospital(r=.411, p=.000), supervisor support(r=.364, p=.000). Conclusions: The results showed developing organizational strategy to promote job satisfaction can decrease the turnover rate and increase loyalty to the organization. It will contribute to enhance productivity in hospital.

전자교통행정서비스를 위한 멀티미디어 메시징 엔진의 설계 (Design for the Multimedia Messaging Engine for Electronic Traffic Administration Services)

  • 향후 전자정부 시대에는 행정 업무 담당자가 PDA와 같은 단말기를 이용하여 언제, 어디서나 업무처리가 가능하게 되고 일반 사용자 역시 어느 장소에서나 최신의 정보 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 편리한 시대가 도래할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 교통행정분야도 텍스트뿐 아니라 카메라 이미지, 동영상과 같은 디지털 자료를 이용함으로써 기관 업무 및 민원 서비스의 획기적인 개선이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 전자교통행정 서비스의 공통된 요구사항 중의 하나는 다양한 멀티미디어 정보를 수시로 등록하고, 언제, 어디서나 다양한 단말기를 이용하여 구독해 볼 수 있도록 하는 미들웨어인 메시징(MOM: Message Oriented System) 서비스를 필요로 하고 있다. 이러한 배경으로 본 연구는 유선 및 무선의 분산 환경에서 수행되는 다양한 전자정부의 교통행정서비스를 지원하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 유통시스템인 메시징 엔진 미들웨어 소프트웨어를 아키텍처 설계방법론에 따라 설계한 내용을 다루었다. 또한, 설계과정에서 비대칭 채널 패턴과 메시지 스위치 패턴, 쓰레드 풀 패턴의 3가지 아키텍처 패턴의 활용에 대해 설명하며, 아울러 다른 엔진과의 구조적 차이를 비교 및 평가를 수행하였다.

조선소 근로자의 직종과 혈청 암배아성 항원 농도와의 관련성 (A Relationship between Serum Carcinoembryonic Antigen Concentrations and Job Titles of a Shipyard Workers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to clarify the association between serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and type of work in the shipbuilding industry. Methods: 1,072 final study subjects were admitted to a general hospital from April through July 2010 for the purpose of medical examination. Data on general characteristics such as age, smoking history, alcohol history and exercise habits was gathered through structured self-administered questionnaires. Information on job factors was collected from a medical examination, by interview and through company personnel data. Serum CEA levels were measured after eight hours' fasting and were analyzed by a radioimmunoassay. Results: On univariate analysis, the mean serum CEA level was significantly higher among married (p=0.02), older age (p<0.01), longer work time (p<0.01), smokers (p<0.01), lower education (p<0.01), and indirect and direct exposure groups (p<0.01). On multiple regression analysis, serum CEA level was influenced by smoking (p=0.001), duration of work (p=0.019), and direct exposure group (p<0.001). However, among the direct exposure group, serum CEA level was not significantly different between welding, mounting, electro-device constructive work, grinding and cleaning, and painting. Conclusions: The goal of this research was to determine if there were differences between serum CEA levels according to occupational role among shipyard workers. The direct exposure group of shipyard workers had a relatively higher level of serum CEA than did the indirect exposure group and office workers, most likely due to occupational exposure.

토목공사 안전관리비 적정요율 산정 (Appropriate Rate for Estimating Safety Management Cost in Civil Work)

  • Standard safety management cost system was established in 1988 as a decree Number of 88-13, first time. And then, it has been revised fourteen times, up to now. A lot of practical investigations have been made for the revision but many problems at sites are continued to be put out so that it should be revised. This study is to find out hazard level of each work kinds through questionnaire and interview and investigate analyze the status which standard safety management costs have been used. Also, this study is to show reasonable rates of standard safety management costs in construction industry and to set up countermeasures against those problem after reviewing its status in korea with in Japan and Europe. Budget and actually performed amount of safety management costs in this study are investigated. costs for temporary work which is clarified in Japan is collected in order to compare domestic cost rate with Japanese one related to the total project amount. This study is to investigate eleven project kinds of domestic system, first, and to investigate eleven items of apartment bldg, office, civil work such as bridge, tunnel, dam, plant etc, secondly. Additionally, three items of gymnasium, railway, particular steel tower are investigated in this study. Also this study is to investigate and analyze performed costs of presently processing worker finished work so that it shows a new reasonable rate against standard safety management costs in construction industry, in order to make basical data and material to be systemized.
