중강도 운동훈련이 고지방식이 유도 비만쥐의 비장세포 염증성 사이토카인 발현에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Moderate Exercise Training on Splenocyte Inflammatory Cytokine Production in High Fat Diet Induced Obese Mice)

  • 본 연구는 고지방식이로 유도된 비만쥐를 대상으로 저지방식이와 중강도 운동이 비장세포의 전염증성 사이토카인 발현에 미치는 영향을 보고자 하였다. 4 주령의 C57BL/6 마우스를 대상으로 고지방식이(45% fat)를 5 주간 처치하여 비만을 유도한 후, 저지방식이(10% fat)로 전환한 후 통제군(운동미실시, n=10)과 운동군(중강도운동실시, n=10)으로 나누어 8 주간 트레드밀을 이용하여 중강도 운동을 주 5회, 1 일 30-60분 실시하였다. 운동종료후 비장세포를 분리하여 Concanavalin A (10 ug/ml)로 24시간 자극 후 전염증성 사이토카인인 IL-1${\beta}$, IL-6, TNF-${\alpha}$를 Bio-Plex를 활용하여 측정하였다. 자료분석은 독립 t 검증을 실시 하였으며, 유의수준은 p<0.05 수준으로 하였다. 비장세포에서 발현된 전염증성 사이토카인인 IL-1${\beta}$, IL-6, TNF-${\alpha}$는 저지방식이를 단독처치한 통제군에 비하여 중강도 운동을 병행실시한 운동군에서 유의하게 감소한 결과(p<0.01)를 나타내어 고지방식이로 유도된 비만쥐에서 저지방식이의 단독처치보다 중강도 운동의 병행 처치가 전염증 사이토카인 감소에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료된다.

광주.전남 일부 중학생들의 체질량지수에 따른 식생활 및 식이자아효능감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Middle School Students of Gwangju.Chonnam in Terms of Dietary Life, Dietary Related Self-efficacy According to Body Mass Index)

  • In order to give basic data to teenager's healthcare, we investigated the food habits according to BMI (Body Mass Index), life style, dietary related self-efficacy and food intake through conducting a research surveying 732 middle school students of the Kwang-ju and Chonnam areas. The results of this study were compared groups in under weight (UW), normal weight (NW), and overweight (OW) groups according to BMI levels. In the male students, height was significantly differently in the UW group as $158.2\pm0.7$ cm compared to other NW and OW groups respectively as $163.7\pm0.6$ cm and $162.6\pm0.7$ cm but in the female students there was no significantly difference within groups. Weight was significantly different between the groups in the male students, whereas there were minor differences in the female students. The average of BMI was $20.7\pm0.1$ on the male students and $20.6\pm0.1$ on the female students which were all within the average, and their obesity was increased as the school grade was higher. Under less than 30,000 won of pocket money was dominating, and most of the students were in a nuclear family. In all male and female students, the inactive hours like watching TV and using computers had no differences between groups. The difference between groups was minor on breakfast time and most of the students thought their problems on unbalanced diet. There was significant difference in the OW group in female students as they thought their problems on unbalanced diets. The frequency of snack was significantly low in the OW group of male students but there were no differences in snack and eating-out food. All students chose fruits as snack food and Korean-style food as eating out food. The OW group in male students were significantly low in the dietary related self-efficacy when they were with their families and feeling depressed but there were no differences in female students between groups. When all students were getting higher BMI, they evaluated themselves badly in their self-dietary habits. Also the more male students had non-physical activity time, the less they had the dietary related self-efficacy and the more female students had physical activity time, the higher they had the dietary related self-efficacy. In conclusion, the OW group had good habits in physical activities for weekends, meal times, frequency of snack consumption but it showed undesirable when they were low in dietary related self-efficacy. Therefore we will provide the systematic nutrition education to them through this study.

아동기 과체중 위험 인자로서의 TV시청시간, 사회계층요인, 부모의 과체중 및 부모의 활동수준 (Television Watering, Family Social Class, Parental Overweight, and Parental Physical Activity Levels in Relation to Childhood Overweight)

  • This study was done to determine the factors associated with childhood overweight in 721 sixth grade elementary school students, in Busan. The students' heights, weights, waist circumferences and triceps-skinfold thicknesses were measured using standard techniques. Other data were collected using a questionnaire that included information about physical activity, television watching, and the amount of exorcise taken during leisure times, family history of diseases related to obesity: social data including family income, parents'education and occupations, eating behaviors; parental weights and heights; and parental activity levels. Childhood overweight was defined as a body mass index at or above the 85th percentile for age and sex. The prevalence of overweight revealed no significant difference between sexes, (24.2% in boys and 22.03% in girls). The risk of childhood overweight was significantly greater if either the mother or the father were overweight. The odds ratio for childhood overweight associated with maternal overweight was 5.045 (94% CI : 3.262-7.801), and 2.727 (95% CI : 1.764-4.218) was the case for parental overweight. Children having a history of hear diseases had higher odds ratios than those who did not. The odds ratios for overweight associated with income were not different. However, a higher odds ratio for overweight was observed in children whose fathers had only an elementary or middle school education than those whore fathers had a high school or college education. Children whose fathers' occupations were service workers or shopkeepers (OR : 3.314, 95% C = 1.851-5.934) or had no occupation (OR = 3.756, 95% CI : 1.898-7.430) had a treater risk of overweight than those whose fathers'were professionals or once workers. The risk of overweight increased in children having more irregular meal times and faster eating times, rather than those having an intake pattern of high energy and sugar containing floods. The amount of exercise taken during leisure times, and daily physical activity showed no difference between overweight and non-overweight children. However, television watching time, especially on weekends, was greater in overweight children than in non-overweight children. Television watching time was positively correlated with BMI, triceps-skin(31d thickness, waist circumference and waist/height ratio. Therefore, television watching was found to be a useful predictor of overweight in children. Television watching in children was negatively related to paternal activity levels, and positively related to parental television watching time. In fact, fathers whose children were overweight were physically less active than fathers whose children were non-overweight. Parents appeared to be a strong influence on their children's physical activity levels. In conclusion, a low family social class, defined on the basis of the father's occupation or education, parental overweight, increased television watching, and unhealthy physical activity levels in parents were all considered risk factors for childhood overweight. Among these, television watching time and lack of physical activity were considered to be the most important risk factors that could be easily modified for the prevention of and intervention in, overweight in children.

고등학생의 영양 관련 문제점 분석 및 영양 교육 프로그램 개발 ( I ) - 영양교육 목표 설정을 위한 식생활 문제점 분석 - (Problems Analysis Related to Nutrition and the Development of Nutrition Education Programs for High School Students( I ) - A Study Centered on Analyzing Problems of Dietary Life for Nutrition Education Goal Setting -)

  • The objectives of this study were to analyze nutrition-related problems and to develop the nutrition education programs for high school students A survey was conducted with 500 students in the second grade level at high schools in Daegu who differed in socio-economic characteristics. In addition, body composition analysis was accomplished by the Inbody 3.0. The developed questionnaires were distributed and 481 questionnaires were collected with a 96.2% of response rate. Statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS WIN(ver.12.0) for descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-tests and $X^2$-tests. We first analyzed students' problems related to nutrition and environmental factors. In a question addressing skipping breakfast, only 11.5% answered they "do not eat" breakfast. In regards to BMI, the male students' degree of obesity was higher. Second, we analyzed living environments, which greatly influence dietary behavior. For the snacks-related categories, most of the students liked bread, cake and other snacks. When they chose the snacks, they mainly considered taste. There were significant difference among the males and females(p<.01) in terms of snacks intake habits, where 43.1 % of the males answered they snack "occasionally" and 43.4% of the females answered they snack "according to how they feel". In the case of beverages, the males consumed significantly more(p<.001). Based on their regional groups, the area A group preferred milk and milk products, and the area B group preferred soft drinks. As for the time of beverage intake, 77.6% of the females answered "with snacks", which was significantly higher than 61.4% of the males(p<.001), 12.2% of the males drank beverages after exercise. For late snacking, 68.0% of the male students and 71.1 % of the female students consumed late snacks. Most of them preferred bread, cake and other snacks. The reasons for taking a late snack were "when I feel hungry" by 61.8% of the males which was higher than the females(p<.001), 23.6% of the females consumed late snacks "impulsively". Ideally, in order to improve the food habits of high school students effective and practical nutrition education programs that consider gender and regional school group, should be carried out.

초등학생 학부모의 고혈압 관련 지식에 관한 조사 (Survey of Knowledge on Hypertension among the Parents of Elementary School Students)

  • 전북지역의 김제시의 2개 초등학교 4-6학년 학부모 434명을 대상으로 2003년 11월 20일부터 2003년 11월 30일까지 10일간 자기 기입식 방법으로 설문조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고혈압 관련 지식의 정답률은 77.4%-94.5%로서 비교적 높게 나타났으며 이중 고혈압에 대한 혈압수치의 정답률이 77.4%로서 제일 낮았다. 그러나 비만인 사람이 고혈압에 더 걸리기 쉽다는 응답의 정답률이 94.5%로서 높은 지식을 나타냈다. 둘째, 혈압측정을 실천했는지를 분석한 결과 아버지 측정율이 53.7%인 반면 어머니의 측정율은 54.8%로서 높지 않게 나타났다. 셋째, 측정한 학부모들의 자기혈압을 알고 있는지 분석한 결과 알고 있다는 인지율이 아버지는 84.1%, 어머니는 91.1%로서 비교적 잘 알고 있었으며 이들이 작성한 자기 혈압 수치를 혈압 분류기준에 따라 분석한 결과 아버지들의 고혈압 전단계(120-139mmHg/80-89mmHg) 비율이 12.2% 및 고혈압(140/90mmHg)이 28.6%로 나타났다, 반면 어미니들의 고혈압 전 단계 비율이 7.7% 및 18.2%로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 기초로 다음과 같은 결론 및 제안을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 고혈압의 예방 및 관리를 위하여 지역 사회 대상 접근 방법이 기존의 보건의료기관에서 내소자를 중심으로 개인 대상 접근 방법보다 더 중요함을 시사하므로 적극적인 홍보가 실시되어야 한다. 둘째, 지역주민이 갖고 있는 고혈압관련지식 수준은 비교적 높은데 이러한 지식을 생활하면서 실천 하는 능력을 향상시키는 것이 매우 중요하다. 그러므로 지역사회 고혈압 예방 및 관리에서 학교라는 지역 사회시설과 감수성이 높고 교육효과가 크다고 증명된 초등학생들을 적극 활용하는 것이 중요하므로 초등학교에 고혈압 예방교육이 실시되어야 한다.

초등학교 양호교사의 학교건강증진 인식도 연구- ACCESS모델을 적용 - (Analysis to Recognition of School Health Promotion Applied ACCESS Model)

  • This study is basic research for developing health promotion programs in elementary school and is looking at the effect factor of School nurses perception and school health promotion. This study was conducted with the ACCESS model for school health promotion from WHO. The subjects of this study were 28 elementary school nurses located in the west side of Kung-Nam from the 7th of June to the 30th of June by direct interview. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. the score from obesity, dental caries, health counselling, scoliosis, hepatitis B, immunization BCG items are higher in the low grade but showed significant difference in visual disturbance items. 2. the average score of school health promotion perception is 5.04. The list of school health promotion is composed of school health policies(5.39), physical environments (5.38), school health services(5.34), social environments (5.22), personal health skills (4.92), and community relationships(4.64). 3. after an analysis of the perception of school health promotion from school nurses, the relationship between the school health budget and the school health policy and school health service was shown to be significant. 4. after analysis of the effect factor of perception of school health promotion from school nurses, school health policy, school social environment, personal health skills, and school health service were shown to be significant. 5. The factors in school health promotion are the number of classes and students, school budgets, school nurses' final education and age, health education classes per week, and teaching experience. Particularly the school health budget and school nurses of the classes per week are statistically significant. The suggestions of this study are as follows: 1, as a related factor of school health promotion. the generally characteristics of schools and school nurses should be considered for improving the perception of school health promotion. 2, the period of health education for effective school health management and health education should be an on-going program. 3. the scope of school health promotion and perception should be considered for developing health promotion programs. 4. elementary school health promotion programs should be developed and applied to research. 5. computer system programs should be developed for effective school health projects.

농촌 국민학교 아동의 혈압, 짠맛에 대한 역치, 최적 염미도, 뇨 중 배설성분 및 혈압에 관한 영양지식 (Blood Pressure, Salt Threshold, Salt Preference, Urinary Excretions and Nutrition Knowledge About Blood Pressure of Elementary School Children in Rural Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the relationship of dietary factors to blood pressure in 5th and 6th grade school children. Salt threshold, salt preference and nutrition knowlege about blood pressure were tested. Twenty-four hour urines were collected for the measurements of the volume and concentrations of sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, phosphorus, creatinine and urea nitrogen. 1) Mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure of elementary school children were 106.8/67.6mmHg in males and 108.7/69.5mmHg in females. Seven children(4%) of total subjects were found to be hypertensive. Their mean blood pressure was 130.0/86.4mmHg. 2) Urinary excretions of creatinine and urea nitrogen during twenty-four hours were 621.1mg and 1524mg, respectively. The mean daily urinary sodium excretion was 2940mg, which is equivalent to 7.37g NaCl. 3) The daily urinary excretions of other minerals were as follows; potassium was 1301mg, chloride, 4991mg, calcium, 55.7mg and phosphorus, 700.03mg. 4) Salt preference of hypertensive children90.473$\pm$0.275) was significantly higher than those of normotensive children(0.473$\pm$0.213%), but salt threshold was lower in hypertensives(0.105$\pm$0.04%) than normotensives(0.081$\pm$0.022%) (p<0.05). INdices for assessing obesity, such as body weight, triceps skinfold, weight for heigth and body surface area, were high in hypertensive children than normotensive children(p<0.05). But there was no significant difference in energy and nutrient intakes between two groups. 5) Various anthropometric measurements had positive correlations with blood pressure, but body muscle mass(%) had a negative correlation with blood pressure. And daily energy and nutrient intakes were not related to blood pressure. 6) Blood pressures-both systolic and diastolic-were significantly correlated with urinary excretions of potassium and chloride. Daily sodium excretion was related to systolic blood pressure, but no related to diastolci blood pressure. There was no relationship of salt threshold to salt preference, and neither threshold nor preference was related to blood pressure. Results of this study suggest that nutrition education program for children including the information about desirable food habits for the prevention of hypertension should be developed.

어린이의 수면 호흡 장애 관련 위험인자 (A Study on Factors Related to Sleep Disordered Breathing in Children)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 소아 수면 설문지(PSQ)를 활용하여, 구강 내 소견, 체질량 지수(BMI) 및 병력과 비교함으로써 수면 호흡 장애(SDB)와 관련된 잠재적 위험 요인을 조사하는 것이다. 만 7세에서 11세 사이의 787명의 어린이가 포함되었으며, 어린이의 보호자는 설문지를 작성하였다. Angle의 분류, 수평피개 및 Brodsky 편도 등급을 포함한 구강 증상을 조사하였다. 이중 PSQ 점수가 0.33점 이상인 대상은 SDB 고위험군으로 분류되었다. 787명 중 34명(4.3%)이 SDB 고위험군으로 분류되었다. 알레르기성 비염, 아토피성 피부염, 과도한 수평피개, 편도 비대를 가진 어린이는 그렇지 않은 어린이보다 SDB 위험이 훨씬 더 높았다. 또한 BMI 상태에 따라 SDB 위험도에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 성별, 재태 연령, 모유 수유 및 Angle의 분류는 SDB와 관련이 없었다. 이 연구에서 SDB 고위험군의 어린이는 4.3%로 나타났으며, 예측인자로는 편도 비대, 알레르기성 비염, 비만 및 아토피성 피부염이 있었다. 이러한 예측인자를 가진 어린이는 SDB가 발생할 위험이 높고 조기개입이 필요한 대상이 될 수 있다.

초등학교 저학년 영양교육 학습 자료의 디자인 방향 설정에 관한 연구 (Establishing Design Directions for Nutrition Education Materials for Early Elementary Students in South Korea)

  • 오늘날 아동 비만의 위험성과 영양불균형이 사회적 문제로 떠오르면서 국내에서도 식생활 및 영양정보를 다루는 교육용 콘텐츠·자료 개발이 다양한 형태로 시도되고 있으며 그 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교 저학년 학생을 대상으로 아동이 학교에서 이루어지는 영양교육과 연계하여 자기 주도적으로 학습하고, 습득한 지식을 실생활에 적용하여 올바르고 균형 있는 식생활을 할 수 있도록 하기 위한 맞춤형 영양교육 학습 자료를 디자인 방향을 설정하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 및 문헌조사 등을 바탕으로 초등학교 저학년 영양교육에 대한 이론적 고찰을 시행하고, 의료·교육·디자인계 전문가 자문을 통해 저학년 아동을 대상으로 실행될 설문조사를 위한 문항 요소를 도출하여 서울시와 경남 창원시 소재의 초등학교 2곳의 1, 2학년 어린이 110명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 평가 결과, 저학년 아동은 영양교육에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 멀티미디어 기반의 컨텐츠를 활용한 학습 유형과 퀴즈활동을 선호하고, 칼로리 조절 식사에 관하여 학습하고자 하는 의향이 있었다. 학습 자료 디자인 요소에 대해서는 주황, 초록 계열의 색과 고딕류 서체를 선호하였으며, 영양에 대한 정보 표현법으로는 실제의 모습과 흡사한 그림체와 수치측량법 사용에 긍정적인 의견을 나타냈다. 이를 바탕으로 초등학교 저학년인 1,2학년 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춘 자기주도학습 영양교육자료 디자인의 방향성을 설정하였다.

나주지역 중학생의 식생활 관여도와 식행동 연구 (A Study on Food Involvement and Dietary Behavior of Middle School Students in Naju Area)

  • 본 연구는 중학생들의 영양지식, 식생활 관여도 및 식행동 실태를 파악하고 영양지식 정도에 따른 식생활 관여도와 식행동 차이를 비교 분석함으로써 남 녀 중학생들의 바람직한 식행동을 유도하여 청소년들의 건강증진에 이바지할 수 있는 식생활 교육의 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 나주시 소재의 남 여 중학생 528명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 SAS/PC 프로그램을 이용하여, 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차를 산출하였고, t-test, 일원변량분석을 수행하였으며, 사후검증으로 Duncan의 다중범위검증을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생의 식사행동 인식은 세끼 식사 중 아침식사를 중요하게 생각하는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 음식 선택의 기준은 맛을 가장 우선시하였다. 주문 배달음식 섭취는 일주일에 1$\sim$2회가 가장 높았고 주문 배달음식 종류는 서양음식이 가장 높게 나타났다. 본인의 체중 인지는 살찐편이라고 생각하는 경우가 높게 나타났고, 체중조절 방법으로 운동을 하고 있는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 그에 따른 운동의 규칙성은 응답자의 절반 가량이 규칙적으로 하지 않았다. 실시하고 있는 운동의 종류는 걷기, 달리기, 윗몸 일으키기 등이었고 자신의 식생활에서 개선할 점에서는 편식과 불규칙한 식사시간을 고쳐야할 점이라고 높게 인식하고 있었다. 식생활 정보 수집원으로는 TV를 통해 얻는 경우가 40%임을 볼 때 영양정보 전달의 효과적인 대중매체의 책임있는 교육 프로그램이 개발, 보급되어야 하겠다. 둘째, 관련변인에 따른 식생활 관여도는 성별, 학년, 모 학력, 체중의 인지, 체중 조절 방법, 운동 형태, 개선할 식생활의 인지에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 관련변인에 따른 식행동은 학년, 식사의 우선 순위, 음식 선택 기준, 체중 조절 방법, 개선할 식생활의 인지에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 영양지식 정도에 따른 식생활 관여도의 차이는 영양지식이 '상'과 '중'인 집단에 비해 '하'인 집단이 낮게 나타났다. 영양지식 정도에 따른 식행동의 차이는 영양지식이 높은 집단이 식행동이 양호하게 나타났고, 영양지식이 낮은 집단이 식행동도 낮게 나타났다. 이는 청소년 시기에 습득한 영양지식이 실제 식생활 태도에 크게 작용하는 점으로 보아 올바른 식습관 형성에 도움을 줄 수 있는 체계적이고 지속적인 학교교육과 가정교육의 필요하다고 하겠다. 넷째, 식생활 관여도에 따른 식행동의 차이는 식생활 관여도가 높은 집단의 식행동이 식생활 관여도가 낮은 집단보다 식행동이 유의적으로 높게 나타났다.
