We show that selfadjoint operator extensions of minimal second order difference operators have only discrete spectrum when the odd order coefficient is unbounded but grows or decays according to specific conditions. Selfadjoint operator extensions of minimal differential operator under similar growth and decay conditions on the coefficients have a absolutely continuous spectrum of multiplicity one.

Two Jindo dogs which show clinical signs of anorexia, weakness and exercise intolerance, were referred, and diagnosed as dirofilariasis by hematology, blood chemistry and ultrasonography. In hematology and blood chemistry, the presence of microfilariae in the blood, anemia, leukocytosis, hemoglobinuria and jaundice were revealed. In ultrasonography, heartworms were found in the right ventricle artery and pulmonary artery as structures of hyperechoic dots or streaks. In autopsy, forty odd and fifty odd of heartworms at dog 1 and dog 2, were ascertained respectively in the right ventricle and pulmonary artery.

In this paper we derive an integral formula on an (n + 1)-dimensional, compact, minimal contact CR-submanifold M of (n - 1) contact CR-dimension immersed in a unit (2m+1)-sphere $S^{2m+1}$. Using this integral formula, we give a sufficient condition concerning with the scalar curvature of M in order that such a submanifold M is to be a generalized Clifford torus.

We study an (n+1)($(n{\geq}3)$-dimensional contact CR-submanifold of (n-1) contact CR-dimension in a (2m+1)-unit sphere $S^{2m+1}$, and to determine such sub manifolds under conditions concerning the second fundamental form and the induced almost contact structure.

Let p, ${\ell}$ be distinct odd primes, q be an odd prime power with gcd(q, p) = gcd(q,${\ell}$) = 1, and m, n be positive integers. In this paper, we determine all self-dual, self-orthogonal and complementary-dual negacyclic codes of length $2p^{n{\ell}m}$ over the finite field ${\mathbb{F}}_q$ with q elements. We also illustrate our results with some examples.

In this paper, we introduce a family resolvent cocycle and express the Chern Character of Dai-Zhang higher spectral flow as a pairing of a family resolvent cocycle and the odd Chern character of a unitary matrix, which generalize the odd index formula of Carey et al. to the family case.

The circular list coloring is a circular version of list colorings of graphs. Let $\chi_{c,l}$ denote the circular choosability(or the circular list chromatic number). In this paper, the circular choosability of outer planar graphs and odd wheel is discussed.

It is proved that if $M\;=\;B_p(3)$ or $C_p(3)$, p is an odd prime, G is a finite group and has the same order components of M, then $G\;{\cong}\;Bp(3)$ or $C_p(3)$.

Motivated essentially by their potential for applications in a wide range of mathematical and physical problems, the log-sine and log-cosine integrals have been evaluated, in the existing literature on the subject, in many different ways. The main object of this paper is to present explicit evaluations of some families of log-sine and log-cosine integrals by making use of the familiar Beta function.
