간호대학생의 간호사 이미지, 전문직 자아개념 및 간호전문직관과의 융복합적 관계 (A Study of Convergence Relationships among Nurses' Image, Professional Self-Concept and Nursing Professionalism in Nursing Students.)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생을 대상으로 간호사 이미지, 전문직 자아개념 및 간호전문직관의 관계를 확인하고, 간호전문직관 정립을 위한 효율적인 간호교육의 방안을 모색하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상자는 G광역시 일개 대학에 재학중인 292명의 간호 대학생이었으며, 2015년 11월 11일부터 11월 15일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation, Stepwise Multiple linear regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 간호전문직관과 간호사 이미지(r=.821, p<.001), 전문직 자아개념(r=.701, p<.001)과는 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 간호사 이미지, 전문직 자아개념 및 학년을 포함한 변수가 간호전문직관을 총 57.2% 설명하였다. 따라서, 긍정적인 전문직관을 형성시키기 위해서는 간호교육 프로그램을 개발할 시, 본 연구결과에서 나타난 요인들을 고려해야 할 필요가 있겠다.

임상간호사가 지각한 간호사 자아상: Q 방법론적 접근 (Nurses' Self-Image Perceived by Clinical Nurses: An Application of Q-Methodology)

  • Purpose: The views, perceptions, and feelings of nurses themselves would be important to quality of nursing and professionalism, and turnover intentions. The purpose of this study was to identify nurses 'self-image to develop a customized program. Methods: The Q-methodology which is to create a typology was used. The 40 selected Q-statements from each of 35 participants were classified into a shape of normal distribution using a nine point scale. The collected data were analyzed using a PC-QUANL program. Results: Three types of nurses 'self-image were identified: 'proactive self-image', 'critical self-image', and 'adaptive self-image'. Two consensus items in three types were extracted: 'need to develop healing therapies to overcome the constant tension and exhaustion from work', and 'just think as a colleague than the senior-junior relationship. Conclusion: The results is the typology and this leads to further research.

특발성 척추측만증 청소년과 정상 청소년의 자세습관, 신체상 및 또래관계 비교 (Comparisons of Postural Habits, Body Image, and Peer Attachment for Adolescents with Idiopathic Scoliosis and Healthy Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to compare the postural habits, body image, and peer attachment of adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis and healthy adolescents, and to examine the correlation between body image and peer attachment in each group. Methods: Eighty-three adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis and 83 healthy adolescents were recruited from 4 middle schools located in W city. Data were collected from November 22 to December 6 2010 using a structured questionnaire including items about postural habits, body image, and peer attachment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, $X^2$-test, independent t-test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. Results: Compared to healthy adolescents, adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis were more likely to use one hand, to lean back while seated, and to put weight on one leg while standing. The score for body image was significantly lower for adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis compared to healthy adolescents, but peer attachment was not significantly different between the two groups. Body image was significantly correlated with peer attachment only for the adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis. Conclusion: Interventions to promote balanced postural habits in adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis are needed. Information on body image and peer attachment for these adolescents should also be considered when developing interventions.

첫 임상실습이 간호학생이 지각하는 간호사의 이미지에 미치는 영향 (Changes in the Image of the Nurse for Student Nurses before and after their First Clinical Experience)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify changes in the image of the nurse for student nurses before and after their first clinical experience. Method: The participants were 108 nursing students who had not had any clinical experience. All participants had their first clinical experience for 1 week. and the image of the nurse was measured before and after the clinical experience. Result : 1) Before the first clinical experience, the scores on the image of the nurse that was the highest for the student nurses was in the professional dimension, followed by traditional, personal, and social in that order. After the clinical experience, the score on the image of the nurse was still the highest in the professional dimension, but this time, it was followed by personal, traditional and social dimension in that order. 2) Difference in the image of the nurse before and after the clinical experience showed statistical significance. The factors influencing this change were the degree of satisfaction with their major, whether the students had ever been hospitalized, and the type of wards where they had their clinical experience. Conclusion: In summary, the first clinical experience should be ideal in order to promote the image of the nurse. Therefore an improvement in the environment for clinical experience is important.

COVID-19를 경험한 간호대학생의 간호사 이미지, 전공만족도, 간호전문직관, 불안 간의 관계 (The relationship between Image of Nurses, Major Satisfaction, Nursing Professionalism, and Anxiety among Nursing students in University who experienced Covid-19)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19를 경험한 간호대학생의 간호사이미지, 전공만족도와 간호전문직관, 불안 간의 관련성을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2022년 5월~7월까지 경기도 S시 간호대학생 230명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과, 대상자의 간호사 이미지는 간호전문직관(r=.635, p<.001) 및 전공만족도(r=.581 p<.001)와 양의 상관관계를 나타났고 간호전문직관은 전공만족도(r=.504, p<.001)는 양의 상관관계를 불안(r=-.143, p=.030)은 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 COVID-19를 경험한 간호대학생은 간호사 이미지, 전공만족도, 간호전문직관을 높이고 불안을 낮추기 위해 위한 다양한 중재 프로그램이 모색하여야 할 것이다.

COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 간호대학생의 교수-학생 상호작용, 심리적 안녕감, 간호사 이미지와 간호전문직관의 관계 (The association of faculty-student interaction, psychological well-being, and the image of nurses of nursing students on nursing professionalism in the COVID-19 pandemic)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of faculty-student interaction, psychological well-being, and the image of nurses with nursing professionalism in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Methods: The participants of the study were 243 nursing college students located in Daegu, Kyungpook. Data collection was performed between August 11 and 20, 2021. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using the IBM SPSS 21.0 program. Results: The multiple regression showed that nursing professionalism was associated with a positive image of nurses (β=.71, p<.001) and higher faculty-student interaction (β=.11, p=.023). Additionally, a negative impression about nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic was negatively associated with nursing professionalism (β=-.12, p=.003). The explanatory power of the factors was 67 percent of the total variances on nursing professionalism; however, psychological well-being was not an associated factor. Conclusion: This study suggested that, to improve nursing student's nursing professionalism in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, nursing colleges should systemize curricular and non-curricular programs to improve awareness of nurses' efforts and faculty-student interaction.

간호학과 신입생의 간호사 이미지, 전공만족도, 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Nurse Image, Satisfaction with One's Major and Career Decision-making Self-efficacy on Career Preparation Behavior of First-year Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was intended to evaluate the effect of nurse image, satisfaction with one's major and career decision-making self-efficacy on career preparation behavior of first-year nursing students. Methods: A total of 134 first-year nursing students were enrolled in this study. Data were collected from March 25 to April 5, 2024. Data collected prospectively were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Career preparation behavior showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.28, p=.001), satisfaction with one's major (r=.41, p<.001) and career decision-making self-efficacy(r=.61, p<.001). Career decisionmaking self-efficacy showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.59, p<.001), satisfaction with one's major (r=.70, p<.001). Satisfaction with one's major showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.66, p<.001). Career preparation behavior was significantly affected by nurse in the family and relatives (β=-.21, p=.003) and career decision-making self-efficacy (β=.64, p<.001), which had an explanatory power of 41.0%. Conclusion: To establish career preparation behavior in first-year nursing students, it is necessary to develop a variety of systematic educational programs to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy.

진로체험 참여 고등학생의 간호사 이미지와 진로 정체감에 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on Nurse's Image and Career Identity of High-school Students who Participated Job Experience)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted in order to examine the correlation between the image of nurse and career identity among high school students participating in a vocational experience program of a nursing department, to find influential factors, and ultimately, to improve the image of nurse and promote the establishment of career identity for the development of nursing career and to obtain strategic information for developing nursing departments' vocational experience programs. Methods: Data for this study were collected using a structured self-report questionnaire from 90 high school students participating in a vocational experience program executed at the Nursing Department of W University in G Province during the period from April 26 to July 19 in 2014. Results: According to the results of data analyses, factors influencing the image of nurse were career identity(${\beta}=0.339$, p=0.002) and satisfaction with the program(${\beta}=0.153$, p=0.043) in order of significance(F=9.51, p<0.001), and factors influencing career identity were the image of nurse(${\beta}=0.301$, p=0.002), satisfaction with the program(${\beta}=0.254$, p=0.010), and gender(${\beta}=0.231$, p=0.015) in order of significance(F=12.06, p<0.001). Conclusions: These results suggest that when high school students participating in a vocational experience program of a nursing department are satisfied with the program, the program is more effective in improving the image of nurse and promoting the establishment of career identity. Based on this study, further research is necessary to get strategic information for developing various vocational experience programs, to provide high school students with vocational experiences related to nursing through the programs, and to examine the effects of such programs.

간호대학생의 생활스트레스, 신체상 및 행복이 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Life Stress, Body Image, and Happiness on Health Promoting Behaviors among Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 생활스트레스, 신체상, 행복, 건강증진행위 간의 관계 및 건강증진행위의 영향요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 자료수집은 간호대학생 277명을 대상으로 2018년 4월 16일부터 5월 4일까지 이루어졌다. 자료분석방법은 기술통계, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson 상관관계분석, 단계적 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 간호대학생의 일반적 특성에 따른 생활스트레스, 신체상, 행복 및 건강증진행위에서 공통적으로 전공만족도와 학교만족도에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 건강증진행위는 신체상과 행복과는 정적 상관관계를 나타냈고, 생활스트레스와는 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 간호대학생의 건강증진행위에 대한 영향요인으로 행복, 신체상, 생활스트레스, 성별, 전공만족도로 총 변화량의 46%를 설명하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 건강증진행위를 향상시키기 위해 생활스트레스는 낮추고 신체상과 행복을 높이기 위한 다양한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

분만 여성의 산후 우울과 신체상의 관계 (Relationship Between Postpartum Depression and Body Image in Postpartum Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the change and difference and relationship of postpartum depression and physical image. Method: The subjects consisted of 86 postpartum women at one general hospital in Seoul. The data was collected from September to November 2001. The instrument used for this study were SRD (Self-Rating Depression Scale) and Norris' Body Image Scale to evaluate depression and body image. The collected data was analyzed with frequency, mean, t-test, paired t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Result: The result of this study were as follows: 1. The mean score of D2 was significantly higher than D1(p=.003). There was no difference significantly B1 and B2(p=310). 2. There was significant correlation between the two, D1-D2(r=.381, p<.01), B1-B2(r=.364, p<.01), D1-B1(r=.579, p<.01), D2-B2(r= .567, p<.01). (*D1: depression of postpartum 1-3days, D2: depression of postpartum 6-8weeks, B1: body image of postpartum 1-3days, B2: body image of postpartum 6-8weeks) Conclusion: There was very high postpartum depression in postpartum women, but body image was positive. Also, there was correlated to postpartum depression and body image. Thus it is necessary to implement nursing intervention focused on to decrease the postpartum depression and to enhance the body image of the postpartum women.
