  • This study analyzed which conflict management norm was preferred according to unique cultural difference of nation and such conflict management norm influences on conflict management type in solving real conflict when conflict in organization occurs and such conflict norm had a preference and influence on conflict management type in solving real conflict through such conflict management norm. As the result, first, Korean managers showed still high attitude on group interest and aimed to negotiation. But they highly depended on control. Canada managers showed discussion norm of individual interest and performed conflict management laying stress on unity and negotiation. second, as for conflict management of negotiation, both Canada and Korea performed it on the based of his or her interest discussion and as for plural agenda unity positively influenced to unity conflict management in Korea but in Canada, attitude for the future negatively influenced.

  • The usual arithmetic operations on real numbers can be extended to arithmetical operations on fuzzy intervals by means of Zadeh's extension principle based on a t-norm T. A t-norm is called consistent with respect to a class of fuzzy intervals for some arithmetic operation if this arithmetic operation is closed for this class. It is important to know which t-norms are consistent with a particular type of fuzzy intervals. Recently Dombi and Gyorbiro proved that addition is closed if the Dombi t-norm is used with two bell-shaped fuzzy intervals. A result proved by Mesiar on a strict t-norm based shape preserving additions of LR-fuzzy intervals with unbounded support is recalled. As applications, we define a broader class of bell-shaped fuzzy intervals. Then we study t-norms which are consistent with these particular types of fuzzy intervals. Dombi and Gyorbiro's results are special cases of the results described in this paper.

  • This paper introduces a regularized mixed norm multi-channel image restoration algorithm using both within-and between- channel deterministic information. For each channel a functional which combines the least mean squares (LMS), the least mean fourth (LMF), and a smoothing functional is proposed. We introduce a mixed norm parameter that controls the relative contribution between the LMS and the LMF, and a regularization parameter defining the degree of smoothness of the solution, where both parameters are updated at each iteration according to the noise characteristics of each channel. The novelty of the proposed algorithm is that no knowledge of the noise distribution for each channel is required and that the parameters mentioned above are adjusted based on the partially restored image.

  • Compressed sensing (CS) is a new theory. With regard to the sparse signal, an exact reconstruction can be obtained with sufficient CS measurements. Nevertheless, in practical applications, the transform coefficients of many signals usually have weak sparsity and suffer from a variety of noise disturbances. What's worse, most existing classical algorithms are not able to effectively solve this issue. So we proposed an efficient algorithm based on smoothed ${\ell}_0$ norm for sparse signal reconstruction. The direct ${\ell}_0$ norm problem is NP hard, but it is unrealistic to directly solve the ${\ell}_0$ norm problem for the reconstruction of the sparse signal. To select a suitable sequence of smoothed function and solve the ${\ell}_0$ norm optimization problem effectively, we come up with a generalized approximate function model as the objective function to calculate the original signal. The proposed model preserves sharper edges, which is better than any other existing norm based algorithm. As a result, following this model, extensive simulations show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the similar algorithms used for solving the same problem.

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the causal relationships among affective belief, environmental belief, subjective norm, attitude and meat consumption behavior. A total of 318 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to measure the causal relationships among the constructs. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The effects of affective belief, environmental belief and subjective norm on attitude were statistically significant. The effects of affective belief, environmental belief and subjective norm on meat consumption were statistically significant. As expected, attitude had a significant effects on behavioral intention. Moreover, attitude played a mediating role in the relationship between affective belief and meat consumption, environmental belief and meat consumption, subjective norm and meat consumption. Consumption played a mediating role in the relationship between attitude and behavioral intention. In conclusion, based on structural analysis, a model was proposed of interrelations among affective belief, environmental belief, subjective norm, attitude, meat consumption and intention. It should be noted that the original model was modified and should, preferably, be validated in future research. Other variables may be incorporated to form models that consist of new antecedent and consequence pairs.

  • Computation with fuzzy numbers is a prospective branch of a fuzzy set theory regarding the data processing applications. In this paper we consider an open problem about distributivity of fuzzy quantities based on the extension principle suggested by Mare (1997). Indeed, we show that the distributivity on the class of fuzzy numbers holds and min-norm is the only continuous t-norm which holds the distributivity under t-norm based fuzzy arithmetic operations.

  • We consider the growth norm of a measurable function f defined by defined by $${\parallel}f{\parallel}-\sigma=ess\;sup\{\delta_D(z)^\sigma{\mid}f(z)\mid:z{\in}D\}$$, where $\delta_D(z)$ denote the distance from z to ${\partial}D$. We prove some kind of optimal growth norm estimates for a on convex domains.

  • In this paper, we propose an iterative mixed norm image restoration algorithm using multi regularization parameters. A functional which combines the regularized l$_2$ norm functional and the regularized l$_4$ functional is proposed. The smoothness of each functional is determined by the regularization parameters. Also, a regularization parameter is used to determine the relative importance between the regularized l$_2$ functional and the regularized l$_4$ functional. An iterative algorithm is utilized for obtaining a solution and its convergence is analyzed.

  • We analyze the error in the p version of the of the finite element method when the effect of the quadrature error is taken in the load vector. We briefly study some results on the $H^{1}$ norm error and present some new results for the error in the $L^{2}$ norm. We inves-tigate the quadrature error due to the numerical integration of the right hand side We present theoretical and computational examples showing the sharpness of our results.
