A VISCOSITY APPROXIMATIVE METHOD TO CES$\`{A}$RO MEANS FOR SOLVING A COMMON ELEMENT OF MIXED EQUILIBRIUM, VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES AND FIXED POINT PROBLEMS

  • In this paper, we introduce a new iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solutions for mixed equilibrium problem, the set of solutions of the variational inequality for a ${\beta}$inverse-strongly monotone mapping and the set of fixed points of a family of finitely nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space by using the viscosity and Ces$\`{a}$ro mean approximation method. We prove that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some mind conditions. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results of Kumam and Katchang [A viscosity of extragradient approximation method for finding equilibrium problems, variational inequalities and fixed point problems for nonexpansive mapping, Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems, 3(2009), 475-86], Peng and Yao [Strong convergence theorems of iterative scheme based on the extragradient method for mixed equilibrium problems and fixed point problems, Mathematical and Computer Modelling, 49(2009), 1816-828], Shimizu and Takahashi [Strong convergence to common fixed points of families of nonexpansive mappings, Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 211(1) (1997), 71-83] and some authors.

Alarm Diagnosis Monitoring System of RCP using Self Dynamic Neural Networks (자기 동적 신경망을 이용한 RCP의 경보 진단 시스템)

  • A Neural network is possible to nonlinear function mapping and parallel processing. Therefore It has been developing for a Diagnosis system of nuclear plower plant. In general Neural Networks is a static mapping but Dynamic Neural Network(DNN) is dynamic mapping. When a fault occur in system, a state of system is changed with transient state. Because of a previous state signal is considered as a information. DNN is better suited for diagnosis systems than static neural network. But a DNN has many weights, so a real time implementation of diagnosis system is in need of a rapid network architecture. This paper presents a algorithm for RCP monitoring Alarm diagnosis system using Self Dynamic Neural Network(SDNN). SDNN has considerably fewer weights than a general DNN. Since there is no interlink among the hidden layer. The effectiveness of Alarm diagnosis system using the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by applying to RCP monitoring in Nuclear power plant.

  • Traditional OCR engines are designed to the scanned documents in calibrated environment. Three dimensional perspective distortion and smooth distortion in images are critical problems caused by un-calibrated devices, e.g. image from smart phones. To meet the growing demand of character recognition of texts embedded in the photos acquired from the non-calibrated hand-held devices, we address the problem in three categorical aspects: rotational invariant method of text region extraction, scale invariant method of text line segmentation, and three dimensional perspective mapping. With the integration of the methods, we developed an OCR for camera-captured images.

  • In this paper we present an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of zero points of accretive mappings and the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. By using viscosity approximation methods and under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating to this common elements are proved. The results presented in the paper improve and extend the corresponding results of Kim and Xu [Nonlinear Anal. TMA 61 (2005), 51-60], Xu [J. Math. Anal. Appl., 314 (2006), 631-643] and some others.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove a weak convergence theorem for a common fixed points of finite family of nonspreading mappings and nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the results of Mondafi [A. Moudafi, Krasnoselski-Mann iteration for hierarchical fixed-point problems, Inverse Problems 23 (2007) 1635-1640], and Iemoto and Takahashi [So Iemoto, W.Takahashi, Approximating common fixed points of nonexpansive mappings and nonspreading mappings in a Hilbert space, Nonlinear Analysis (2009), doi:10.1016/j.na.2009.03.064].

J-integral calculation by domain integral technique using adaptive finite element method

  • An adaptive finite element method for analyzing two-dimensional and axisymmetric nonlinear elastic fracture mechanics problems with cracks is presented. The J-integral is used as a parameter to characterize the severity of stresses and deformation near crack tips. The domain integral technique, for which all relevant quantities are integrated over any arbitrary element areas around the crack tips, is utilized as the J-integral solution scheme with 9-node degenerated crack tip elements. The solution accuracy is further improved by incorporating an error estimation procedure onto a remeshing algorithm with a solution mapping scheme to resume the analysis at a particular load level after the adaptive remeshing technique has been applied. Several benchmark problems are analyzed to evaluate the efficiency of the combined domain integral technique and the adaptive finite element method.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove strong convergence theorems for common fixed points of two families of weak relatively nonexpansive mappings and a family of equilibrium problems by a new monotone hybrid method in Banach spaces. Because the hybrid method presented in this paper is monotone, so that the method of the proof is different from the original one. We shall give an example which is weak relatively nonexpansive mapping but not relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach space $l^2$. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced in [W. Takahashi and K. Zembayashi, Strong convergence theorem by a new hybrid method for equilibrium problems and relatively nonexpansive mappings, Fixed Point Theory Appl. (2008), Article ID 528476, 11 pages; doi:10.1155/2008/528476] and [Y. Su, Z. Wang, and H.   • Cell mapping is a powerful computational technique for analyzing the global behavior of nonlinear dynamic systems. It simplifies the task of analyzing a continuous phase space by partitioning it into a finite number of disjoint cells and approximating system trajectories as cell transitions. A cell map for the system is then constructed based on the allowable control actions. Next search algorithms are employed to identify the optimal or near-optimal sequence(s) of control actions required to drive the system from each cell to the target cell by an "unravelling algorithm." Errors resulting from the cell center-point approximation could be reduced and eliminated by fuzzifying the bonders of cells. The dynamic system control method based on the cell mapping has been demonstrated for a motor control problem.l problem.

  • The construction of the rulebase of a fuzzy controller is usually difficult because experts' knowledge is often hard to derive. To remedy such a problem, a number of self-learning schemes for rulebase formulations were proposed. One of the popular approaches is the reinforcement learning. Many successful examples employing such an idea were proposed and claimed to be with good results in the literature. The purpose of this paper is to discuss and make comparisons between some of the related work in order to provide a better picture regarding their performances. A numerical algorithm for the analysis of nonlinear as well as fuzzy dynamic systems, the Cell-to-Cell Mapping, is used. The analytical results reveals the true behavior of the learning schemes.
