Shipping protectionist measures are imposed to help the national fleet based on the protection that shares are low and that there are economic benefits from increasing them. Relative to the complexity of those objectives, protection is fairly simple and blunt instrument of policy. Shipping protectionist measures are classified into two groups on the basis of the nature of protectionist tools; finance-oriented and non-finance oriented instruments. The thesis aims to show non-finance oriented shipping instruments in the pre-WTO Period. Chapter 2 deals with the development of protectionism in shipping. Chapter 3 Classified non-finance oriented protection such as Cargo Reservation, Cargo Sharing and Cargo Control. Chapter 4 outlined and examined the effect of Non-Finance Oriented Shipping Instruments which was the most important in developing countries.

This study intends to propose a non-oriented DEA based game cross-efficiency approach for supplier selection. With a discussion on the choice of DEA models and approaches that are most appropriate for supplier selection, we propose a game cross efficiency model based upon the non-oriented variable returns-to-scale RAM DEA by adapting the existing game cross efficiency model based upon the oriented constant returns-to-scale CCR DEA. We develop the RAM game cross efficiency model and a convergent iterative solution procedure to find the best game cross efficiency scores that constitute a Nash equilibrium. We illustrate the proposed model with two data sets of supplier selection, and demonstrate that significantly different results are obtained when compared with the existing approaches.

The objective of this study was to identify differences between internet fashion shoppers and non-shoppers in their fashion shopping orientation and attitude toward internet shopping site service. Also behavior of internet shoppers and non-shoppers was compared by gender. Twelve hundred and ninety two responses were obtained from an online survey. 20 items were used to measure shopping orientation and 13 items to measure attitude toward internet shopping site service, which were modified from previous studies. Some demographics and internet familiarity were asked. Factor analysis, t-test, chi-square test, and regression were conducted. Factor analysis produced five fashion shopping orientation factors such as fashion oriented, shopping oriented, brand oriented, personality oriented, and value oriented. Attitude toward internet shopping site service were classified into three factors, at-site service, after purchasing service, and product information. Internet fashion shoppers and non-shoppers were significantly different in most items of shopping orientation and attitude toward internet site service. Internet shoppers were likely to be fashion oriented, to enjoy shopping, to pursue brandname and personality, and to concern price more than non-shoppers were. Internet shoppers also had more favorable attitude toward product information and at-site service. Also, shoppers were more familiar than non-shoppers to the internet in terms of duration of web-browsing. Ratio of men and women differed significantly for shopper vs. non-shopper groups. Female shoppers were likely to be more fashion, shopping. and value oriented but to have less favorable attitude for after purchasing service than male shoppers.

With the continuous emergence of new applications and cyberattacks and their frequent updates, the need for automatic protocol reverse engineering is gaining recognition. Although several methods for automatic protocol reverse engineering have been proposed, each method still faces major limitations in extracting clear specifications and in its universal application. In order to overcome such limitations, we propose an automatic protocol reverse engineering method using a two-pathway model based on a contiguous sequential pattern (CSP) algorithm. By using this model, the method can infer both command-oriented protocols and non-command-oriented protocols clearly and in detail. The proposed method infers all the key elements of the protocol, which are syntax, semantics, and finite state machine (FSM), and extracts clear syntax by defining fine-grained field types and three types of format: field format, message format, and flow format. We evaluated the efficacy of the proposed method over two non-command-oriented protocols and three command-oriented protocols: the former are HTTP and DNS, and the latter are FTP, SMTP, and POP3. The experimental results show that this method can reverse engineer with high coverage and correctness rates, more than 98.5% and 99.1% respectively, and be general for both command-oriented and non-command-oriented protocols.

Conventional solid or surface modeling systems cannot represent both the complete solid model and the abstract model in a unified framework. Recently, non-manifold modeling systems are proposed to solve this problem. This paper describes FlexDesigner, an open kernel system for modeling non-manifold models. It summarizes the data structure for non-manifold models, system design methodology, system modularization, and the typical characteristics of each module in the system. A data structure based on partial-topological elements is adopted to represent the relationship among topological elements. It is efficient in the usage of memory and has topological completeness compared with other published data structures. It can handle many non-manifold situations such as isolate vertices, dangling edges, dangling faces, a mixed dimensional model, and a cellular model. FlexDesigner is modularized hierarchically and designed by the object-oriented methodology for reusability. FlexDesigner is developed using the C++ and OpenGL on both SGI workstation and IBM PC.
We live in the age of artificial intelligence, and big data and artificial intelligence education are no longer just for majors, but are required to be able to handle non-majors as well. Software and artificial intelligence education for non-majors is not just a general education, it creates talents who can understand and utilize them, and the quality of education is increasingly important. Through such education, we can nurture creative talents who can create and use new values by fusion with various fields of computing technology. Since 2015, many universities have been implementing software-oriented colleges and AI-oriented colleges to foster software-oriented human resources. However, it is not easy to provide AI basic statistics education of big data analysis deception to non-majors. Therefore, we would like to present a big data education model for non-majors in big data analysis so that big data analysis can be directly applied.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual state and problems of outlet stores. And examine store attributes shopping orientations information sources according to demographic characteristics for outlet store patronage group. The questionnaires were administered to 400 women living in Taegu. The data were analyzed by using Frequency Percentage Factor Analysis MANOVA. The results of the study were as follows; 1) Outlet stores in Taegu area were run as the type of agency and dealt in most brands of their own companies, There were plenty of as-sortment and merchandise. The discount rate was 50-60% Stores' locations were scattered which made shopping environment incon-venient. 2) The store attributes were composed of five factors such as fashion & products diver-sity service store reputation convenience and price. Shopping orientation were com-posed of six factors such as self-confidence for shopping brand oriented store loyalty & near-store oriented economical self-assumed shopping and difficulty of choice. Information sources were composed of four factors such as print media & display personal information advertising and store visit. 3) There were significant differences be-tween patronage group and non-patronage group in store reputation service fashion & products diversity. Patronage group is more satisfied with these three factors. There were significant differences between patronage group and non-patronage group in brand oriented and economical Non-patronage group was more brand oriented and patronage group was more economical. There were significant difference between patronage group and non-patronage group in print dedia & display factos. Non-patronage group made more use of print media& display than patronage group as information sources. There were significant differences between patronage group non-patrpnage group in age marital status and levle of education.

This study examines the effects of social network support types on the subjective satisfaction of life for elderly people focused on the impact of voluntary and present oriented social network type represented by hobby club vs. non voluntary and past oriented social network type for example alumni association in Korean society respectively. According to the advanced studies figured out by preceding researchers, most of social networks had a good and positive effects on the elderly people's subjective satisfaction of life. However, this study tried to classify the social networks by type such as starting time to make relationship among members and voluntary or non voluntary for participation to the networks. As a result of this study, voluntary and present oriented social network represented by hobby club has a very positive relationship with Korean elderly people's subjective satisfaction of life while non voluntary and past oriented social network as alumni association has no relationship with elderly people's subjective satisfaction of life. Therefore, government policies and budget should be concentrated on encouraging or supporting voluntary and present oriented social networks such as hobby club, voluntary agency etc. rather than non voluntary and past oriented social networks so as to maximize the effect for increasing Korean elderly people's subjective satisfaction of life.
This study aims to develop a mobile-based portable u-Health Monitoring System which provides a personal medical service on demand by processing patients' data intellectually achieved through sensing technique of non-restriction/non-consciousness oriented and deciding. To do this, we composed a USN-based portable monitoring unit. It is the one, that contains a somatometry sensor which is attached to patient's body and detects bio information, a portable wireless terminal which receives information from the sensor and transmits it to monitor server, and a monitor server which interprets received data through wireless network and processes. Also, it tries to develop a non-restriction /non-consciousness oriented sensing technique which is related to glycosuria and cardiovascular diseases.
