  • Leading of the computer, IT technology has make great strides. As a information-industry-community was highly developed, user's needs to convenience about intelligence and humanization of interface is being increase today. Nowadays, researches with are related to BCI are progress put the application-technology development first in importance eliminating research about fountainhead technology with DB construction. These problems are due to a BCI-related research studies have not overcome the initial level, and not toward a systematic study. Brain wave are collected from subjects is a signal that the signal is appropriate and necessary in the experiment is difficult to distinguish. In addition, brain wave that it's not necessary to collect the experiment, serious eyes flicker, facial and body movements of an EMG and electrodes attached to the state, noise, vibration, etc. It is hard to collect accurate brain wave was caused by mixing disturbance wave in experiment on the environment. This movement, and the experiment of subject impact on the environment due to the mixing disturbance wave can cause that lowering cognitive and decline of efficiency when embodied BCI system. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an accurate and efficient brain-wave DB building system that more exactness and cognitive basis studies when embodied BCI system with brain-wave. For the minimize about brain wave DB with mixing disturbance, we propose a DB building method using an automatic control and prevent unnecessary action, put to use the subjects face tracking.

  • Predicting the performance of adaptive optics systems is a crucial step in their design and analysis. First-order prediction methods, based primarily on several assumptions and scaling laws, are commonly used. These methods must account for various parameters and error sources, such as the intensity and profile of atmospheric turbulence, fitting errors based on the resolution of the wavefront sensor and deformable mirror, wavefront-sensor noise propagated through the wavefront-reconstruction algorithm, servo lag due to the finite bandwidth of the control loop, and anisoplanatism caused by the arrangement of natural and laser guide stars. However, since first-order performance-prediction methods based on certain assumptions can sometimes yield results that deviate from real-world performance, evaluation through computational simulations and closed-loop tests on a testbed is necessary. Additionally, an atmospheric simulator is required for closed-loop testing, which must adequately simulate the spatial and temporal characteristics of atmospheric disturbances. This paper aims to present an overview of the theory of atmospheric disturbance simulators, as well as their implementation in computational simulation and hardware.

  • A new control method for precision robust speed control of a PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using load torque observer is presented. Using this system, we can more precisely evacuate of vestibular function. Until now a rotating chair system, so called 2D-stimulator, which has vertical rotate axis is used to make dizziness. However, an inclined rotating chair system witch is called 3D-stimulator is needed to obtain the precise dizziness data. This 3D-stimulator include unbalanced load caused by unbalanced center of mass. In this case, new compensation method is considered to obtain robust speed control using load torque observer. To reduce the effect of this disturbance, we can use dead-beat observer that has high gain. The application of the load to torque observer is published in for position control. However, there is a problem of using speed information such as amplifying effect of noise. Therefore, we can reduce a noise effect by moving average process. The experimental results are depicted in this paper to show the effect of this proposed algorithm.

  • In the past decades, complain about ground vibration and noise induced by pile driving has been quickly increased. Because of that, auger drilled piling methods have frequently used specially in urban area. However, the present auger drilled piling methods induce inevitable ground disturbance as well as a certain degree of vibration and noise due to the final hammering. For these reasons, a new auger drilled piling method is required to be developed. This paper introduces PDT(Pulse Discharge Technology) piling method and presents the characteristics of bearing capacity. The PDT piling method is to install in-situ piles using electric power so called Pulse. The pile installed by PDT appears to be able to develop shaft and end bearing capacity efficiently. This paper introduces PDT(Pulse Discharge Technology) piling method, which is the 512nd new construction technology. The PDT piling method is to install in-situ piles using electrical power so called Pulse power. The pulse power is physical value that indicates the energy change per unit time(dE/dt). Since the pulse power is to push ground, using the pulse power is enable a hole to be expanded as well as the ground to be improved by compaction. Therefore, The pile installed by PDT appears to be able to develop shaft and end bearing capacity efficiently. In this study, couples of pile loading tests were carried out to figure out whether or not the PDT piling method is applicable to constructions like rail road facility. As a result, it was concluded that the PDT piling technique meet the requirements for such a rail road related construction.

  • One of the typical problems in the precise vibration is resonance characteristics at low frequency disturbance due to a heavy mass. An electro-magnetic(EM) air spring is a kind of vibration control unit and active isolator. The EM air spring in this study aims at removing the low frequency resonance for semiconductor manufacturing. The mechanical and electronic parts in the active isolator are designed to operate under a weight of 2.5 tons. The EM spring is floated using air pressure in a pneumatic elastic chamber and actuated by EM levitation force. The actuator consists of a EM coil and a permanent magnetic plate which are installed inside of the chamber. An air mount was constructed for the experiment with a stone surface plate, 4 active air springs, 4 gap sensors, a DSP controller, and a multi-channel power amp. A PD control method and operating logic was applied to the DSP. Simulation using 1/4 model was carried out and compared with the experiments. The time duration and maximum peak at resonance frequency can be reduced sharply by the proposed system. The results show that the active system can avoid the resonance caused by the natural frequency of the passive system.

  • The accuracy of the upward continuation is assessed through the gravity modeling using an ultra-high degree spherical harmonic expansion. The difficulties in the numerical calculation of Legendre function with ultra-high degree, underflow and/or overflow, is successfully resolved in 128 bit calculation scheme. Using the generated Legendre function, the gravity anomaly with spatial resolution of $1'{\times}1'$ on the geoid is calculated. The generated gravity anomaly is degraded and extracted with various noise levels and data intervals, then upward continuation is applied to each data sets. The comparison between the upward continued gravity disturbances and the directly calculated from the spherical harmonics showed that the accuracy on the direct method was significantly better than that of Poisson method. In addition, it is verified that the denser and less noised gravity data on the geoid generates better gravity disturbance vectors at an altitude. Especially, it is found that the gravity noise level less than 5mGal, and the data interval less than 2arcmin is necessary for next generation precision INS navigation which requires the accuracy of 5mGal or better at an altitude.

  • Reaction Wheel Assembly (RWA) is one of the major disturbance sources that have influence upon the Line of Sight (LOS) of payload. A micro-vibration induced by RWA is propagated through the satellite structure and decrease the LOS stability performance of payload. This effect shall be analyzed through the jitter analysis. If a requirement or specification of payload jitter level is found to be not satisfied according to the jitter analysis campaign, some modification or redesign should be done on the satellite structure or a couple of isolator should be attached on the RWA interface in order to reduce the transmitted vibration level of RWA. The purpose of ???RWA isolator test? is to roughly evaluate the performance of vibration suppression level with a passive RWA isolator made of rubber. For this test, actual RWA is used as a vibration source and a couple of cube-shaped rubber mount designed for satellite is used as a passive isolator. There may be several considerations in order to accommodate RWA isolator to spacecraft such as not only vibration reduction performance but also thermal conduction problem, mechanical size, RWA alignment problem, etc. But in this report the feasibility of RWA isolator is analyzed only in a vibration suppression point of view. As a result, high frequency vibration of RWA above 50Hz is perfectly attenuated with isolators, however, first harmonic components below 50Hz became larger due to the additional low frequency resonance modes of roll, pitch, yaw rigid body motion of RWA+bracket.

  • In this paper, the dual stage interaction between the coarse actuator and the fine actuator of an optical disk drive is studied, and the new control method to enhance the track pull-in performance using fine actuator control is proposed. First, the dynamic analysis for the dual stage and the experiments to find the each actuator dynamics are performed. From the experiments, some physical parameters of the actuators were derived, then, some simulations are performed to find the interaction effect of the fine actuator during seek motion. Second, the center servo which suppresses the vibration of fine actuator during seek motion is designed and evaluated. And the fine actuator control to reduce the relative velocity between the target track and beam spot is proposed. From simulations, we show that fine actuator control which has same frequency and same phase of the disturbance is effective to reduce the relative velocity, and this result leads to track pull-in enhancement. Hence, the proposed control method is good approach to improve the track pull-in performance. Finally, the realization of the proposed method and some comments of it are briefly discussed.

  • In this Paper, the moving image is detected by a collision preventive system. The noise of these images is reduced by a mean filter. In case of detecting a movement with a binary difference image the moving area is detected exactly by the labeling and the projective method. When the image move slowly with the tracking mode of the system, the center of the tracking window move to the previous tracking window. And the tracking windows are divided into a tracking mode and a coasting mode which are determine by the Contrast-Difference Correlation of the date obtained from a difference image. The coasting mode determine whether continue the tracking step or not comparing the coasting-time values to reducing the error by the disturbance. The coasting and tracking of these moving images are verified by the result of the simulation.
