  • Difference equation is useful for control algorithm in the microprocessor. To approximate a derivative values from sampled data, it is used the methods of forward, backward and central differences. The key of computing discrete derivative values is the finite difference coefficient. The focus of this paper is a new approach method of finite difference formula. And we apply the proposed method to the recursive least squares(RLS) algorithm.

  • In this paper, we obtain a new boundary version of the Schwarz lemma for analytic function. We give sharp upper bounds for |f'(0)| and sharp lower bounds for |f'(c)| with c ∈ ∂D = {z : |z| = 1}. Thus we present some new inequalities for analytic functions. Also, we estimate the modulus of the angular derivative of the function f(z) from below according to the second Taylor coefficients of f about z = 0 and z = z0 ≠ 0. Thanks to these inequalities, we see the relation between |f'(0)| and 𝕽f(0). Similarly, we see the relation between 𝕽f(0) and |f'(c)| for some c ∈ ∂D. The sharpness of these inequalities is also proved.

  • In this paper, a new subclass, 𝒮𝒞𝜇,p,q𝜎 (r, s; x), of Sakaguchitype analytic bi-univalent functions defined by (p, q)-derivative operator using Horadam polynomials is constructed and investigated. The initial coefficient bounds for |a2| and |a3| are obtained. Fekete-Szegö inequalities for the class are found. Finally, we give some corollaries.

  • This study depends on the modified conformable fractional derivative definition to generalize and proves some theorems of the classical power series into the fractional power series. Furthermore, a comprehensive formulation of the generalized Taylor's series is derived within this context. As a result, a new technique is introduced for the fractional power series. The efficacy of this new technique has been substantiated in solving some fractional differential equations.

  • Aircraft manufacturing companies have to consider multiple derivatives to satisfy various market requirements. They modify or extend an existing aircraft to meet new market demands while keeping the development time and cost to a minimum. Many researchers have studied the derivative design process, but these research efforts consider baseline and derivative designs together, while using the whole set of design variables. Therefore, an efficient process that can reduce cost and time for aircraft derivative design is needed. In this research, a more efficient design process is proposed which obtains global changes from local changes in aircraft design in order to develop aircraft derivatives efficiently. Sensitivity analysis was introduced to remove unnecessary design variables that have a low impact on the objective function. This prevented wasting computational effort and time on low priority variables for design requirements and objectives. Additionally, uncertainty from the fidelity of analysis tools was considered in design optimization to increase the probability of optimization results. The Reliability Based Design Optimization (RBDO) and Possibility Based Design Optimization (PBDO) methods were proposed to handle the uncertainty in aircraft conceptual design optimization. In this paper, Collaborative Optimization (CO) based framework with RBDO and PBDO was implemented to consider uncertainty. The proposed method was applied for civil jet aircraft derivative design that increases cruise range and the number of passengers. The proposed process provided deterministic design optimization, RBDO, and PBDO results for given requirements.

  • This paper includes a development of a starting time prediction model for a derivative engine. For this derivative engine design, a new map expansion method, Modified Pump Scaling Law(MPS), has been applied and expand the maps to sub-idle range. From loss characteristics of the reference engine, loss models for the derivative engine have been developed considering different pressure, temperature, and engine configurations. Starting time predictions of the derivative engine shows preferable results comparing test results.

  • Phenylazocyanothioacetamide 1 reacts with malononitrile to afford the pyridinethione 4 which reacts with phenacylbromide to yield the pyridine-S-phenacyl derivative 6, 1 reacts with ethyl cyanoacetate to yield the pyridazine derivative, 8, and with phenacyl bromide to afford the N-phenacyl derivative 11, instead of the thiazole 10. Compound 11 afforded the pyrazolopyridine 13 on reaction with malononitrile while 10 was obtained on coupling of the thiazole 14 with diazotised aniline. Compound 10 reacts with malononitrile to afford the thizaolyl pyridazine 15. Compound 1 reacts with malononitrile dimer to afford the pyriodopyridazine derivative 17a. 1 reacts also with active methylene heterocycies to afford the pyrazolo and thiazolo-fused phridazines 20 and 23 respectively.

  • Effective recommendation of similar business groups is a critical factor in obtaining market information for companies. In this study, we propose a novel method for enhancing similar business group recommendation by incorporating derivative criteria and web crawling. We use employment announcements, employment incentives, and corporate vocational training information to derive additional criteria for similar business group selection. Web crawling is employed to collect data related to the derived criteria from 'credit jobs' and 'worknet' sites. We compare the efficiency of different datasets and machine learning methods, including XGBoost, LGBM, Adaboost, Linear Regression, K-NN, and SVM. The proposed model extracts derivatives that reflect the financial and scale characteristics of the company, which are then incorporated into a new set of recommendation criteria. Similar business groups are selected using a Euclidean distance-based model. Our experimental results show that the proposed method improves the accuracy of similar business group recommendation. Overall, this study demonstrates the potential of incorporating derivative criteria and web crawling to enhance similar business group recommendation and obtain market information more efficiently.

  • Capsaicin cream has been used to attenuate the pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, rheum-atoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and postherpetic neuralgia. But its common side effect, local irritation, limits the use of it and there is still a need for a new analgesic devoid of this side effect. This study was conducted to compare the local irritant effect of DA-5018, a new capsaicin derivative, with that of capsaicin in various animal models and human beings. Capsaicin, applied topically to the mouse ear, produced dose-dependent increase of ear volume and the frequency of ear scratching behavior in mice. Neither ear volume nor scratching behavior was affected by DA-5018. In eye wiping test of rat, DA-5018 was 10 times less irritant than capsaicin. Capsaicin administered intradermally into the rat paw elicited paw lick/lift response with a potency which was three times that of DA-5018. Zostrix-HP (0.075% capsaicin cream), but not DA-50180.3% cream, increased ear volume of rat and induced thermal hyperalgesia in normal and carrageenan inflamed paws. Six day-treatment of Zostrix-HP failed to develop tolerance against this thermal hyperalgesia. In human beings, Zostrix-HP produced burning sensation and itching in more than 90% of volunteers involved and its maximum irritant effect was significantly higher than that of DA-5018 cream. These results suggest that local irritation and burning sensation produced by DA-5018 is much less than capsaicin.
