E. M. Silvia introduced the class $S^\lambda_\alpha$ of $\alpha$-spirallike functions f(z) satisfying the condition $$ (A) Re[(e^{i\lambda} - \alpha) \frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)} + \alpha \frac{(zf'(z))'}{f'(z)}] > 0, $$ where $\alpha \geq 0, $\mid$\lambda$\mid$ < \frac{\pi}{2}$ and $$\mid$z$\mid$ < 1$. We will generalize Silvia class of functions by formally replacing f(z) in the denominator of (A) by a spirallike function g(z). We denote the new class of functions by $Y(\alpha,\lambda)$. In this note we obtain some results for the class $Y(\alpha,\lambda)$ including integral representation formula, relations between our class $Y(\alpha,\lambda)$ and Ziegler class $Z_\lambda$, the radius of convexity problem, a few coefficient estimates and a covering theorem for the class $Y(\alpha,\lambda)$.

This study explored interpretation of the symbolical and metaphorical aesthetics in experiencing art/craft/handmade/studio furniture theoretically for 'wood culture experience class' or 'wood love experience class' by the Korea Forest Service because the class tends to focus on making simple wood works involved just in the practical part. Qualitative conceptual analysis as the principal methodology was used to achieve the theoretical context in the experience programs. After the lesson one on defining the postmodern aesthetics in New Design furniture as metaphor in the previous paper, I developed lesson two for an aesthetics of art and everyday life with wood furniture which expresses the metaphorical and symbolical aesthetics appeared as New Design furniture in postmodernism. As statement of objective in the second lesson, I explored that students in elementary schools personally transform and interpret the postmodern aesthetics of New Design furniture metaphorically with the meanings of symbol. As a result, the students will be able to write about the aesthetics of New Design furniture as metaphor in interpretation transformed by his/her perspective of a piece of selected New Design furniture.

Radicalisation has become an important issue for the Kyrgyz Republic with an increasing number of individuals leaving the country for conflict zones. The government of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted a number of policies to prevent radicalisation and violent extremism among youth. One of these measures is piloting a new subject, titled, History of Religious Culture, (История религиозной культуры) in public schools. The analysis in this paper aims to explore the experiences of teachers, who have taught the new class. The article also examines any differences in the level of resilience of pupils in schools, piloting and not piloting the new subject, towards radicalisation and violent extremism. Data used in this article comes from a survey with 760 adolescents across public schools in six regions of the country and key informant interviews with teachers who have taught the new class. Qualitative findings showed a positive experience of teachers who reported expanding their pupils' and their own knowledge of various religions. Quantitative findings indicate that the new class, History of Religious Culture, may have had a positive impact on violence-related beliefs in pilot schools that reported views less supportive of violence. The study concludes that the government's response to radicalisation and violent extremism has expanded beyond a security approach by including education. This, however, poses a risk of securitising education.

This study analyzed the learning effect, through a satisfaction survey and NVivo qualitative analysis, of fashion design classes using humanities self-reflection writing. The results are as follows. First, with regard to learning satisfaction, learners perceived the class as efficient and showed overall satisfaction. Second, learners' opinions were classified into self-reflection writing, design process, new experience of expression, and the understanding of class activities. Third, in self-reflection writing, learners discovered their tendencies and values while exploring their identity through deep thinking. Fourth, in the design process, learners set the design concept consistently through writing. Fifth, in the new experience of expression, learners recognized the idea produced through writing as the result of thought and considered it a new expression method for design. Sixth, in the understanding of class activities, learners were interested in the process and considered it an activity through which to build their own style in design expression. Design class activities using self-reflection writing drew a positive response and presented the possibility of educational use. The teaching method of this study is expected to be used as a humanistic method for expressions in various design fields.

Let ${\wp}_1$, ${\wp}_2$ be the radical classes of rings. Y. Lee and R. E. Propes have defined their sum by ${\wp}_1+{\wp}_2=\{R{\in}{\omega}:{\wp}_1(R)+{\wp}_2(R)=R\}$. They have shown that ${\wp}_1+{\wp}_2$ is not a radical class in general. In this paper, a few results of Lee and Propes are generalized and also new conditions are investigated under which this sum becomes a radical class.

By a change of variables we obtain new $y$-coordinates of elliptic curves. Utilizing these $y$-coordinates as meromorphic modular functions, together with the elliptic modular function, we generate the fields of meromorphic modular functions. Furthermore, by means of the special values of the $y$-coordinates, we construct the ray class fields over imaginary quadratic fields as well as normal bases of these ray class fields.

In the present paper, we introduce a new class of operators called p-demicompact operators between two lattice normed spaces X and Y. We study the basic properties of this class. Precisely, we give some conditions under which a p-bounded operator be p-demicompact. Also, a sufficient condition is given, under which each p-demicompact operator has a modulus which is p-demicompact. Further, we put in place some properties of this class of operators on lattice normed spaces.

Ernst May and the New Frankfurt Initiative are well known for the urban planning and the Housings in Frankfurt a. M. Their works tend to be underestimated because of some factors such as modest attitude toward modernism design vocabulary, short period that their programs lasts, and modification/recession of project in actual construction. So, This study aims to build up the relations related to Housing, such as situation of post World War I in German Society and Frankfurt, May's cognition on the working class, and realization of rationalization as a major tools of the modernity. Ernst May considered the working class with bipolar standpoint. Ernst May and His team considered working class and those families not only as object of relief but also as potential 'modern citizens' to be disciplined; he sympathize poor conditions of working class while discriminating them by their labor charge. Acceptance of Socially Disadvantaged group in construction were also proceeded in means of recession of cost. Even Ernst May and his team did not achieved the goals that they thought they could, their Siedlung and house designs articulated the sense of modernity, which presented in rationalization with highly practical manner. Those are realized in 3 directions; respectful considerations for existing traditional factors, application of extendable logics of physical/social hygiene, and reflection of issues with standardization and mass production.

This study intends to consider the characteristics of Tudorian costume and find out how the thoughts and cultures in those days had influences on the costume trends of low and middle class. In terms of the Tudorian costume which generated new cultural mainstreams along with blossomed civil culture, this study focuses on the characteristics and trends of costume at low and middle class, which have been little addressed in studies on western costume history or related fields, turning from the costume of upper class based on wealthy noblemen who showed off its dignity and authority along with jewelry and gorgeous ornamental craftsmanship. This study used related pictures, museum material and other literatures as its reference. It first looked into the general characteristics of western costume and considered the characteristics of costumes popularized in professionals at middle class such as apprentice, yeomen and low-class people. Professional or other middle class almost typically used to wear tunic, doublet, shirts, coat or long gown. Black was mainly used as clothes color. Similarly to upper class, silk or velvet was very often used as material. People at low class enjoyed wear costumes with simple and easy style for working. They also preferred natural color and cotton or wool as material. This study intended to find out which type of costumes people at low and middle class enjoyed wearing, rather than compare costume between such two classes.

The purpose of this study was to examine about science gifted class student's effect of education for the science gifted class. For this, 21 item-questionnaires were given to 292 students at the 4th, 5th and 6th graders in 3 elementary gifted schools located in Incheon. The results of this study were as follows: First, science gifted students were positive in effect of gifted class. This was more positive as class is low. Second, gifted students are thinking that it is helped to own learning that study at gifted class in cognitive side but appeared relatively low regarding school record or utterance, study method, thinking faculty, creativity. Third, they did not think that is exerting a lot of effects about own habit that study, interest, pride in emotional side. Fourth, they thought that is effective in relation with new friends more than teachers and parents in sociocultural side. Fifth, in private tutoring side they thought that is not influencing to solve academy taking a course of decrease.
