세포주기조절에 관한 최근 연구 (Significance of Cell Cycle and Checkpoint Cnotrol)

  • Regulation of cell proliferation is a complex process involving the regulated expression and /or modification of discrete gene products. which control transition between different stages of the cycle. The purpose of this short review is to provide an overview of somatic cell cycle events and their controls. Cycline have appeared as major positive regulators in this network, because their association to the cyclin-dependent kinases(Cdks) allows the subsequent activation on the Cdk/cyclin complexes and their catalatic activity. In mammalian cells, early to mid G1 progression and late G1 progression leading to S phase entry are directed by D-type cyclins-Cdk4, 6 and cyclin E-Cdk 2 both of which can phosphorylate the retinoblastoma protein (pRB). pRB is a transcriptional repressor which, in its unphosphorylated state, binds to members of the E2F transcription factor family and blocks E2F-dependent transcription of genes controlling the G1 to S phase transition an subsequent DNA synthesis. Cyclin A is produced in late G1 and expressed during S and G2 phae, and expression of B-type cyclins is typically maximal during the G2 to M phase transition and it controls the passage through M phase. They primarily associate with the activate Cdk2, and Cdc2, respectively. On the other hand, the Cdk inhibitors negatively control the activity of C아/cyclin complex by coordinating internal and/or external signals and impending proliferation at several key checkpoints. These current and further findings will provide novel approaches to understanding and treating major diseases.

개선된 특성을 갖는 진폭 등화기의 설계와 응용 (Design of Amplitude Equalizers with Improved Characteristics and Their Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 고차 대역 통과 여파기의 평탄도를 개선하기 위해 증폭기, 오목한 상보형 여파기, 감쇠기로 구성된 진폭 등화기를 설계하였다. 상보형 여파기는 2n차 체비셰프 원형의 극점 위치를 조절하여 체비셰프 다항식을 수정하고 회로망 합성법을 통하여 원형 소자 값을 계산하였다. 대역 통과 여파기에서 발생하는 손실을 보상하고 반사 특성을 개선할 수 있는 증폭기와 진폭 등화기의 이득 크기를 조절하기 위한 감쇠기를 계산된 원형 소자 값을 사용하여 설계한 4차 상보형 여파기에 연결하여 진폭 등화기를 구현하였다. 제안한 진폭 등화기를 사용하여 2.3 GHz 휴대 인터넷 대역(WiBro)의 13차 대역 통과 여파기의 평탄도 특성을 6 dB 개선하였다.

건강의 혈관신생 억제효과에 관한 연구 (Angiogenic Inhibitory Effect of Zingiberis Rhizoma)

  • This study was conducted to investigate angiogenic inhibitory effect of Zingiberis Rhizoma methanol extract using ECV-304 cells and HT1080 fibrosarcoma cells. The viability of ECV-304 was 30% at 50㎍/㎖ of Zingiberis extract and that of HT1080 was 30% at 100㎍/㎖. Using the BrdU incorporation assay, Zingiberis inhibited the DNA synthesis of ECV-304 and HT1080 by 70% and 50% at 200㎍/㎖. In tube formation assay, at 10㎍/㎖ of Zingiberis, tube network began to degrade and at higher doses, it was completely destroyed. Zymography demonstrated that Zingiberis extract decreased MMP-9 at 10㎍/㎖ and higher doses remarkably inhibited the expression of MMP-9. These data indicate that Zingiberis Rhizoma has angiogenic inhibitory effects and shows the possibility of future anti-metastatic drug.

  • In this paper, the pattern of extracting the same expression is proposed by using the Android intelligent device to identify the facial expression. The understanding and expression of expression are very important to human computer interaction, and the technology to identify human expressions is very popular. Instead of searching for the emoticons that users often use, you can identify facial expressions with acamera, which is a useful technique that can be used now. This thesis puts forward the technology of the third data is available on the website of the set, use the content to improve the infrastructure of the facial expression recognition accuracy, in order to improve the synthesis of neural network algorithm, making the facial expression recognition model, the user's facial expressions and similar e xpressions, reached 66%.It doesn't need to search for emoticons. If you use the camera to recognize the expression, itwill appear emoticons immediately. So this service is the emoticons used when people send messages to others, and it can feel a lot of convenience. In countless emoticons, there is no need to find emoticons, which is an increasing trend in deep learning. So we need to use more suitable algorithm for expression recognition, and then improve accuracy.

Mechanism Analysis of Effect of Oxygen on Molecular Weight of Hyaluronic Acid Produced by Streptococcus zooepidemicus

  • Dissolved oxygen (DO) has a significant effect on the molecular weight of hyaluronic acid (HA) during the fermentation of Streptococcus zooepidemicus. Therefore, to further investigate the effect of DO on the yield and molecular weight of HA, this study compared the metabolic flux distribution of S. zooepidemicus under aerobic conditions at various DO levels. The metabolic flux analysis demonstrated that the HA synthesis pathway, considered a dependent network, was little affected by the DO level. In contrast, the fluxes of lactate and acetate were greatly influenced, and more ATP was generated concomitant with acetate at a high DO level. Furthermore, the has gene expression and HA synthase activity were both repressed under anaerobic conditions, yet not obviously affected under aerobic conditions at various DO levels. Therefore, it was concluded that the HA molecular weight would seem to depend on the concomitant effect of the generation of ATP and reactive oxygen species. It is expected that this work will contribute to a better understanding of the effect of the DO level on the mechanism of the elongation of HA chains.

딥러닝기반 입체 영상의 획득 및 처리 기술 동향 (Recent Technologies for the Acquisition and Processing of 3D Images Based on Deep Learning)

  • In 3D computer graphics, a depth map is an image that provides information related to the distance from the viewpoint to the subject's surface. Stereo sensors, depth cameras, and imaging systems using an active illumination system and a time-resolved detector can perform accurate depth measurements with their own light sources. The 3D image information obtained through the depth map is useful in 3D modeling, autonomous vehicle navigation, object recognition and remote gesture detection, resolution-enhanced medical images, aviation and defense technology, and robotics. In addition, the depth map information is important data used for extracting and restoring multi-view images, and extracting phase information required for digital hologram synthesis. This study is oriented toward a recent research trend in deep learning-based 3D data analysis methods and depth map information extraction technology using a convolutional neural network. Further, the study focuses on 3D image processing technology related to digital hologram and multi-view image extraction/reconstruction, which are becoming more popular as the computing power of hardware rapidly increases.

병렬 출력을 갖는 LFSR 구조를 적용한 HIGHT 프로세서 설계 (Design of an HIGHT Processor Employing LFSR Architecture Allowing Parallel Outputs)

  • HIGHT (HIght security and light weighHT) 암호는 기밀성을 요구하는 네트워크 환경에서 사용할 수 있도록 국내에서 개발된 저전력 경량화 64비트 블록 암호 알고리즘이다. 본 논문은 키스케쥴러에 사용되는 LFSR 및 역 LFSR의 4개의 병렬 출력을 허용할 수 있는 구조를 제안하였다. 또한, 각 라운드 연산에 필요한 4개의 서브키를 동일 클럭 사이클에 생성할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 따라서, 전체 HIGHT 암호 프로세서가 단일 시스템 클럭에 의해 제어할 수 있다. VHDL을 이용하여 회로를 합성한 후, 검증한 결과 제안된 키 스케쥴러의 회로 크기는 기존 키 스케쥴러에 비해 9% 감소되었다.

  • In this paper, we discuss the user-customized interaction for intelligent home environments. The interactive system is based upon the integrated techniques using speech recognition and fingerprint verification. For essential modules, the speech recognition and synthesis were basically used for a virtual interaction between the user and the proposed system. In experiments, particularly, the real-time speech recognizer based on the HM-Net(Hidden Markov Network) was incorporated into the integrated system. Besides, the fingerprint verification was adopted to customize home environments for a specific user. In evaluation, the results showed that the proposed system was easy to use for intelligent home environments, even though the performance of the speech recognizer was not better than the simulation results owing to the noisy environments

Mobile Robot with Artificial Olfactory Function

  • We have been developed an intelligent mobile robot with an artificial olfactory function to recognize odours and to track odour source location. This mobile robot also has ben installed an engine for speech recognition and synthesis and is controlled by wireless communication. An artificial olfactory system based on array of 7 gas sensors has been installed in the mobile robot for odour recognition, and 11 gas sensors also are located in the obttom of robot to track odour sources. 3 optical sensors are also in cluded in the intelligent mobile robot, which is driven by 2 D. C. motors, for clash avoidance in a way of direction toward an odour source. Throughout the experimental trails, it is confirmed that the intelligent mobile robot is capable of not only the odour recognition using artificial neural network algorithm, but also the tracking odour source using the step-by-step approach method. The preliminary results are promising that intelligent mobile robot, which has been developed, is applicable to service robot system for environmental monitoring, localization of odour source, odour tracking of hazardous areas etc.

Bioinformatics Analysis Reveals Significant Genes and Pathways to Targetfor Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

  • Purpose: The purpose of our study was to explore the molecular mechanisms in the process of oral squamous cells carcinoma (OSCC) development. Method: We downloaded the affymetrix microarray data GSE31853 and identified differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between OSCC and normal tissues. Then Gene Ontology (GO) and Protein-Protein interaction (PPI) networks analysis was conducted to investigate the DEGs at the function level. Results: A total 372 DEGs with logFCI >1 and P value < 0.05 were obtained, including NNMT, BAX, MMP9 and VEGF. The enriched GO terms mainly were associated with the nucleoplasm, response to DNA damage stimuli and DNA repair. PPI network analysis indicated that GMNN and TSPO were significant hub proteins and steroid biosynthesis and synthesis and degradation of ketone bodies were significantly dysregulated pathways. Conclusion: It is concluded that the genes and pathways identified in our work may play critical roles in OSCC development. Our data provides a comprehensive perspective to understand mechanisms underlying OSCC and the significant genes (proteins) and pathways may be targets for therapy in the future.
