하악 4전치 상실시 치료 계획 (Treatment plan for missing mandibular 4 incisors)

  • 상실한 하악 4전치에서의 치료 계획은 어느 다른 부위보다 수술의 성공률이나 보철치료시 유리한 환경을 지니고 있다고 흔히 생각되는 부위이다. 하지만 하악 전치들의 M-D 사이즈나 crowding으로 인한 공간적 제한, 임시치아 문제, 치조골 흡수로 인해 생기는 심미적인 문제 등 의외로 까다로운 경우가 종종 발생하는 부위기도 한다. 본문에서는 하악 4전치 상실 시의 치료 계확에 대해서 케이스를 통해 알아 보겠다. 하악 4전치 상실시 가능한 옵션들: 하나 혹은 4전치중 일부 상실의 경우나 잔존 치조골의 흡수가 거의 없어 임플란트 위치 관계가 심미적으로 중요하다고 판단되는 경우라면 직경이 작은 임플란트들을 원래 발치와 중앙에 식립(Narrow type 이나 One body mini implant type) 최종 보철물 형태가 Pink porcelain을 포함하는 이미 광범위한 치조골의 흡수가 일어난 경우 즉 임플란트 식립 위치가 덜 중요한 상황이라면 regular size의 임플란트들을 측절치와 중절치의 사이 Interseptal bone위치에 식립 4전치중 하나 혹은 일부가 상실됐고 남아 있는 전치들의 예후가 불량하다고 의심되나 환자가 당장 나머지 전치들의 발치에는 동의하지 않을 때 남아 있는 전치들이 발치 될 때까지의 Tentative restoration로서 Resin Bonded Bridge(Resin Retained Bridge/Resin Bonded Fixed Partial Denture)의 적용.

남해안 해수욕장 편의시설의 무장애 실태조사 및 분석 (A Study on the Analysis and Investigation about Barrier-Free in the southern coast of Korea Beach Facilities)

  • Recently, Korean people are more interested in leisure time as the Korean economy has enjoyed the economic growth on a continual basis. Along with it, the disabled people's demand for enjoying the beach is growing. To meet the disabled people's demand for enjoy the beaches, it is important to prepare the convenient facilities where the disabled people in the wheel chair can use comfortably, including the handicapped parking area, toilet for the disabled, shower stall room and am bathhouse. On the backdrop of this, the study has been made on the obstacles which keep the disabled people from using the convenient facilities installed on 12 beaches in the southern coat of Korea from the perspective of barrier free design. This study showed that half of the beaches in question did not have the handicapped parking places. The parking space was also so narrow that it was difficult for handicapped people to access the parking lot with their vehicles. There were also 3 beaches which did not have the toilet for the disabled. Even the beaches which have the toilet for the disabled, the size of entrance door and floor space was so narrow and there were a lot of physical obstacles such as no handles for the disabled people that it was really hard for the disabled people in wheelchair to use them.

Analytical Study on Stall Stagnation Boundaries in Axial-Flow Compressor and Duct Systems

  • Stall stagnations in the system of axial-flow compressors and ducts occur in transition from deep surge conditions to decayed or converged stall conditions. The present study is concerned with the boundaries between the deep surges and the stagnation stalls on the basis of analytical results by a code on surge transients analysis and simulation. The fundamental acoustical-geometrical stagnation boundaries were made clear from examinations of the results on a variety of duct configurations coupled with a nine-stage compressor and a single stage fan. The boundary was found to be formed by three parts, i.e., B- and A-boundaries, and an intermediate zone. The B-boundary occurs for the suction-duct having a length of about a quarter of the wave-length of the first resonance in the case of very short and fat plenum-type delivery duct. On the other hand, the A-boundary occurs for the long and narrow duct-type delivery flow-path having a length about a fifth of the wavelength and relatively small sectional area in the case of short and narrow suction ducts. In addition to this, the reduced surge-cycle frequencies with respect to the duct lengths are observed to have respective limiting values at the stagnation boundaries. The reduced frequency for the B-boundary is related with a limiting value of the Greitzer's B parameter. The tendency and the characteristic features of the related flow behaviors in the neighborhood of the boundaries were also made clearer.

전기가열 튜브로를 이용한 나노/서브마이크론 입자의 발생 (Generation of Nano/Submicron Particles Using an Electrically Heated Tube Furnace)

  • Aerosol generator using an electrically heated tube furnace is a stable apparatus to supply nanometer sized aerosols by using the evaporation and condensation processes. Using this method, we can generate highly concentrated polydisperse aerosols with relatively narrow size distribution. In this work, characteristics of particle size distribution, generated from a tube furnace, were experimentally investigated. We evaluated effects of several operation parameters on particle generation: temperature in the tube furnace, air flow rates through the tube, size of boat containing solid sodium chloride(NaCl). As the temperature increased, the geometric mean diameter increased and the total number concentration also increased. Dilution with air affected the size distribution of the particles due to coagulation. A smaller sized boat, which has small surface area to contact with air, brings smaller particles of narrow size distribution in comparison of that of a larger boat. Finally, we changed the electrical mobility diameter of aggregate sodium chloride particles by varying relative humidity of dilution air, and obtained non-aggregate sodium chloride particles, which are easy to generate exact monodisperse particles.

Synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles induced by electron beam irradiation and their electrochemical performance as anode materials for Li-ion batteries

  • We introduce a new synthesis method to prepare small TiO2 nanoparticles with a narrow particle size distribution, which is achieved by electron beam (E-beam) irradiation. The effects of E-beam irradiation on the synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles and the electrochemical performance of TiO2 nanoparticles as alternative anode materials for Li-ion batteries are investigated. The TiO2 nanoparticles induced by E-beam irradiation present better cycling performance and rate capability than the TiO2 nanoparticles synthesized by normal hydrolysis reaction. The better electrochemical performance is attributed to small particle size and narrow particle size distribution, resulting in the large surface area that provides innumerable reaction sites and short diffusion length for Li+ through TiO2 nanoparticles.

  • SC1(Standard Cleaning) 시간을 줄여 STI 측벽에서의 실리콘 손실 및 과도절개를 최소화하여 DRAM에서의 데이터 유지시간을 증가시키는 방법을 제안한다. SC1 시간 최적화를 통해 STI 상층 모서리부에서의 기생 전기장을 약화시킴으로서 Inverse Narrow Width 효과를 감소시키면 셀 트랜지스터의 Subthreshold 누설의 증가없이 채널 도핑농도가 감소하게 된다. 이것은 셀 접합에서 P-Well간 공핍 영역에서의 전기장을 최소화하여 일드나 데이터 유지시간의 증가를 보여 주었다.

20대 여성의 미인형 분석을 위한 계측학적 연구 (Anthropometric Studies on the Analysis of Women's Beautiful Face)

  • The beauty itself cannot be changed by the time, but the concept of the beauty can be influence by the time and cultural background. The purpose of this study is to analyze the beautiful faces or ugly faces among the young women and to provide useful guideline to make up for the modem concept of beauty. The facial photographs of 180 adlut women(aged between 20 and 29) in Pusan and Ulsan area were sampled to be measured and classified as the beautiful or ordinary or ugly faces. Data were analyzed by Frequencies, Mean, Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The major results were as followings; the Beautiful face has a relatively small face with a broad forehead and a small lower face. It also has a wide palpebral fissure, narrow intercanthal distance, a narrow nose and a big mouth. Physiognomic face length was 182.38mm, the upper face length was 59.82mm, the middle face length 60.82mm, the lower face length 61.76mm, and the index of face length to face breadth was 1.35. And also the faces within the figures are considered as the beautiful or ordinary or ugly faces from those measurements like face length/bizygion breadth, intercanthal distance, mouth width, upper vermilion height, lower vermilion height.

협소거주공간 진화를 위한 EO/IR카메라 구현 (Implementation of EO/IR Camera for Fire-fighting of Narrow Space)

  • 최근 도심지내 주거공간은 다세대 거주공간으로 변화하여 화재 발생시 연기 충전이 발생되는 특징이 있다. 또한 피난경로와 연기의 유출 방향이 동일하여 피난자의 연기 흡입 가능성이 매우 높은 실정이다. 도심지 주거공간과 같은 협소거주공간에서 화재를 진압할 때는 화점 탐색이 가장 중요하며 이를 위해 소방관 헬멧에 장착하여 화점 탐색에 활용할 수 있는 EO/IR센서를 구현하고 이에 대한 동작시험을 함으로서 향후 화점탐색센서 연구 및 개발에 활용할 수 있는 결과를 도출하였다.

굴곡된 협수로 통항에서 조반자의 주관적 위험감지도와 조종인난도와의 상관관계에 관한 기초 연구 (A Study on the Correlation between Shiphandler's Subjective Evaluation and Maneuvering Difficulty in Curved Narrow Channel)

  • The assesment of the safety of ship's transit in a curved narrow channel consists of the maneuvering safety determined by the chance of running aground, the maneuvering difficulty determined by ship's workload, and shiphandler's subjective evaluation. In this study, to examine the correlation between shiphandler's subjective evaluation and the maneuvering safety, the real-time and full-mission shiphandling simulator in the Korea Marine Training & Research Institute(KMTRI) was utilized. On the conning bridge of the shiphandling simulator, 50 experienced masters have conducted the modeled vessel of 60, 000 deadweight tonnage along the designed channel under 3 different environmental conditions. It was possible to assess and analyze theoretically the correlation between the shiphandler's subjective evaluation and maneuvering difficulty under each environmental condition by quantifying the data obtained from the tests. The results are as follows: $\circled1$ As the degree of maneuvering difficulty increases, the shiphandler's subjective evaluation increases in the designed channel under the designed environmental condition. $\circled2$ In the straight area, not the bend of the designed channel, maneuvering difficulty increases sharply under the environmental condition of current and wind coming from the stern.

신침로거리와 전타시점에 관한 연구 (A Study on the New Course Distance and the proper time to alter course)

  • The marine traffic accidents go on increasing owing to the increment of marine traffic capacity, and the solutions about these matters are vigorously considering by many researchers. When the watch officer navigates to the narrow channel, bend or an area obscured by an intervening obstruction and around the harbour limit he must follow the planned track. The watch officer can safely navigate along the course laid down only when he alters his course in advance before the new course distance earlier than the course alternation point. If we call this point to be changed in advance a turning bearing, the turning bearing is decided according to the direction and the range from the clearing objects. The turning bearing helps the watch officer to determine whether the ship is at wheel-over position or not. The author in this paper suggest how to make and use a curve graph which is decided according to the direction and the distance from the clearing objects. If the watch officer utilize this curve graph he can judge swiftly and precisely whether his ship is at the wheel - over position or not.
