A survey involving male and female college students was conducted in the Daegu and Gyungbuk area in December 2013. A total of 400 responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square analysis, independent sample t-test, paired t-test, factor analysis, and reliability analysis. An internet shopping mall was the most frequently chosen retailer type for fashion product purchases and information searches. In addition, respondents also preferred independent branded stores, department stores, and non-branded stores. The number of retailer types for clothing item purchases ranged from 1 to 6 and the average was 3.06. The number of retailer types was significantly higher in women groups according to gender variables. Perceived risk had the highest evaluation score for internet shopping malls. Department stores were recognized as a reliable retailer type. The construct of perceived risk was shown as similar in off-line stores such as department stores, independent branded stores, and non-branded stores. Instead, the construct was differentiated from the case of internet shopping malls. Some insightful suggestions were suggested for future research and industrial marketing plans based on the results.

Many cyber-shopping malls use various commodity recommendation methods. Although the detailed algorithms are not disclosed to the public, they mostly rely on relatively simple and straightforward methods. This paper intends to improve the commodity recommendation by using a multi-stage algorithm which considers factors that are characteristics of the commodity itself, of the consumer group, and of the individual customer. A comparison table is provided which shows whether there is a change in commodity recommendation as we consider more factors about the customer.

This study verified the difference in the influence on the value principles held by the consumers while examining the influence of the characteristics of the online shopping mall on the purchase intent by using a TAM2 model. First, the characteristics of online shopping malls were proven to have a positive effect on the perceived ease of use and perceived utility. Second, a look at the effect of the online shopping mall characteristics on the emotional response shows that only the system quality and product quality variables had a positive effect on the emotional response. Third, the perceived ease of use, perceived utility and emotional response of online shopping mall users had a positive effect on their perceived value. Fourth, multi-group analysis was conducted to examine the difference between utilitarian goods and hedonic goods by categorizing what was purchased at online shopping malls. The results showed differences between the groups. This study is attempted to investigate various influencing factors on consumers' intention to revisit online shopping malls. In addition, the author also attempted to understand the behavior of online shopping mall visitors by dealing with more than the technical attributes and emotional aspects of shopping malls.
It becomes undeniable trends that offline shopping stores operate their own online shopping stores too. The multi-channel shopping stores like this allow consumers to have much choices to shop from either offline channel or online channel. This trend, however, also opens new research issues. Especially, we have found from literature survey that a new research model is necessary for more in-depth study of the consumer behavior analysis in the multi-channel trends like this, where those constructs such as offline trust, uncertainty, switching cost, and individual negative emotion are considered. It is noted, especially in the multi-channel environments, that uncertainty and switching cost need to be considered, and that individual tends to feel negative emotion much more. By relying on 406 valid questionnaires, we obtained empirical results such that switching cost and offline trust have a positive effect on continuance intention, and uncertainty tends to increase switching cost. Individual negative emotion also affects continuance intention significantly.
