This study intends to consider the characteristics of Tudorian costume and find out how the thoughts and cultures in those days had influences on the costume trends of low and middle class. In terms of the Tudorian costume which generated new cultural mainstreams along with blossomed civil culture, this study focuses on the characteristics and trends of costume at low and middle class, which have been little addressed in studies on western costume history or related fields, turning from the costume of upper class based on wealthy noblemen who showed off its dignity and authority along with jewelry and gorgeous ornamental craftsmanship. This study used related pictures, museum material and other literatures as its reference. It first looked into the general characteristics of western costume and considered the characteristics of costumes popularized in professionals at middle class such as apprentice, yeomen and low-class people. Professional or other middle class almost typically used to wear tunic, doublet, shirts, coat or long gown. Black was mainly used as clothes color. Similarly to upper class, silk or velvet was very often used as material. People at low class enjoyed wear costumes with simple and easy style for working. They also preferred natural color and cotton or wool as material. This study intended to find out which type of costumes people at low and middle class enjoyed wearing, rather than compare costume between such two classes.
The purposes of this study are: 1) To find out overall family life issues percieved by the middle-classhousewives in their forties. 2) To examine detailed aspects related to middle years crises, leisure activities, children issues, family economy issues, and housing issues. 3) To clarify solutions to, and provide basic data on family issues raised by the middle-class families. The middle-class housewives in their forties living in the Seoul area were the subject of the survey. The sample size analysed in this study was 422. Data were analysed by the frequency, mean, percentile, standard deviation, X2-test, analysis of variance, multiple classification analysis, analysis of multiple regression, and Scheffe-test as a post-hoc analysis. The conclusions are as follows: First, the middle-class housewives tend to give more importance on children issues, especially on academic achievement and career development. Second, family cohesion of middle-class families is comparatively high and intra-familial conflict is low, and middle years crisis of housewives is comparatively low, too. Third, the stability of middle-class families can be found in household economic management patterns. one fourth of the families own stocks and two fifths of the families own real estate except their own dwelling house. Be based on their property income add to their labor income, middle-class families are showed their economic stability, however, intra-class inequality is found, too. Fourth, the great part of middle-class families that possess their own house, tend to be unsatisfied with their housig scale, and a half of the families expect to enlarge their housing scale for more comfortable and convient living.
The objective of this study was to investigate difference in the diet by the kind of meal and the economic status. Nutrient contents at each meals were compared and differences in food intake at different meal were analyzed by economic status. Data from the 1998 Korean National Health Examination Nutrition Survey were used. Using the poverty line based on the 1998 Korean minimum cost of living, the subjects (n = 10400) were classified into high class (36.1%), middle class (40.7%) and low class (23.1 %). Most nutrient intakes were obtained for main meals regardless of economic status. For high class, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks bring about 21, 29, 30 and 19 % of total energy intake, for middle class 22, 29, 30 and 19% and for low class 24, 30, 30 and 16%, respectively. The high-middle class people tend to get more food intakes and nutrients at dinner and snacks, while the low class at main meals. This result was associated with the consumption of a smaller number of meals and a greater number of snacks daily as the economic level was going up (p 〈 0.05). Meals contributed to energy, protein and fat intake, and snacks to water, retinol and vitamin C. The food intakes by food group were different at meals by economic class. Seaweed product were popular breakfast foods in both middle and low groups. Thus three meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner still delivered most of the energy and most of the macro-nutrients regardless of economic status.
The selected questions for this study was their conversation in problem solving way of working together. To achieve its purpose researcher I chose more detail questions for this study as follows. $\circled1$ What is the difference of strategy according to its level \ulcorner $\circled2$ What is the mathematical ability difference in problem solving process concerning its level \ulcorner This is the result of the study $\circled1$ Difference in the strategy of each class of students. High class-high class students found rules with trial and error strategy, simplified them and restated them in uncertain framed problems, and write a formula with recalling their theorem and definition and solved them. High class-middle class students' knowledge and understanding of the problem, yet middle class students tended to rely on high class students' problem solving ability, using trial and error strategy. However, middle class-middle class students had difficulties in finding rules to solve the problem and relied upon guessing the answers through illogical way instead of using the strategy of writing a formula. $\circled2$ Mathematical ability difference in problem solving process of each class. There was not much difference between high class-high class and high class-middle class, but with middle class-middle class was very distinctive. High class-high class students were quick in understanding and they chose the right strategy to solve the problem High class-middle class students tried to solve the problem based upon the high class students' ideas and were better than middle class-middle class students in calculating ability to solve the problem. High class-high class students took the process of resection to make the answer, but high class-middle class students relied on high class students' guessing to reconsider other ways of problem-solving. Middle class-middle class students made variables, without knowing how to use them, and solved the problem illogically. Also the accuracy was relatively low and they had difficulties in understanding the definition.
The purpose of this study are (1) to examine the types and the after-school child care for children from low-income(106) and middle-income(99) families and (2) to examine the needs and expectations for after-school child care program of low-income(107) and middle-income(100) mothers. The findings of this study are as follows ; (1) The percentage of self-care among children from low-income families are higher than the children from middle-income families. The after-school activities mainly consist of arts, music, physical and computer lessons. (2) The needs on the after-school care program with non-profit basis which is managed by public welfare systems are higher among the low-income mothers than the middle-income mothers. Many mothers want professional, non-profit, systematic and formal after-school care programs. Some suggestions are proposed for after-school care program which can meet needs of the children and the mothers from diverse economic and social backgrounds.

The purpose of this research is to analyze teacher's lesson language pattern based on robot class. For this research as an analytical tool AF (Advanced Flanders) was utilized. Actually ClassReport ver 1.0 computer program was used in the process of input data. From the results of the Flanders index, The major instruction sequences were 4-8-3 in elementary school and 4-8 in middle school. The teacher's remarks in robot class in the elementary school rank 'instruction', 'question'. And In the middle school rank 'instruction' and 'positive advice' are very high ratio, but 'indication' is low ratio. The teacher constantly teach and ask question ratio in the middle school was higher than elementary school. But a tendency for non-indication was low ratio in the middle school than elementary school. These results could provide effective cues and information on how to to improve instruction.
Two (second-grade) classes of Yu-song middle school were chosen to research the effect of the visualization in the learning of probability calculation at a middle school. One class, as an experiment class, was taught the probability calculation of probability unit by the visualization learning and the other, as a controlled class, was taught it by the traditional lecture, and then through the writing tests there was a verification on the effect of right after test and the delaying test after 3 weeks to examine the learning effect of high- and low-level groups. It was difficult for the students to visualize the problems of the probability calculation, but I suggested simple models to the students and helped them to learn meaningfully. As a result of this study, there showed statistically significant difference in high-level group in the right after test.(P< .05) In the delaying test after 3 weeks, there also showed statistically significant marks only in high-level group.(P< .05) The visualization in the learning of probability calculation took more affirmative effect in the experiment class than the comparative class only in high-level group. The students in low-level group has difficulties in the visualization activities, but all the students in high-and low-level group thought the visualization was a great help to them in learning probability calculation.
Purpose: This cross-sectional study was carried out to identify factors influencing the health-related quality of life according to socioeconomic level during early adolescence. Methods: Participants were 617 middle school students in $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ grade. All measures were self-administered. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program and factors affecting the health-related quality of life were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: According to the level of Family Affluence Scale (FAS), 19.1% of the participants were in the high class, 66.5% in the middle class, and 14.4% in the low class. We have found statistically significant differences among the high, middle, and low classes regarding the health-related quality of life, health perception, resourcefulness, family function, and social capital. The most influential factors of the health-related quality of life were found to be resourcefulness, family function, and social capital in the high and the middle class. Conclusion: The implication of this study is that it is important for the Education Ministry and middle school teachers to help adolescents develop internal coping resources as well as to develop school-curriculums considering social values and norms related to social capital in order to improving their health-related quality of life.
The objective of this study was to investigate the differences in food intake patterns by the economic status. Data from the 1998 Korean National Health and Nutrition Survey were used. Using the poverty line based on the 1998 Korean minimum cost of living, the subjects (n = 10400) were classified into high class (36.1%), middle class (40.7%) and low class (23.1%). Mean intakes for other food groups except grains, potatoes and vegetables became higher as the eco-nomic levels were going up. By the family size, it was found that intakes of grains and fishes were different (p<0.05). By the economic status, intakes of fruits (p<0.05), meats (p<0.05) and fishes (p<0.01) were different. There were no significant differences in consumed types of food by the economic status. Rice was the most prevalent food in all clas-ses and its intakes increased as the economic status was going down. In the dietary patterns of main food group (GMDVF: Grain, Meats, Dairy, Vegetable and Fruit), the pattern except dairy (11011) revealed the highest proportion in high-middle class while the patterns without dairy and fruit food groups (11010) had the highest proportion in low class. The propor-tions of subjects with the low dietary diversity score (DDS) increased as economic status was going down (p<0.01). The food groups that most people do not consume were the dairy and fruit group. Proportions of people who missed one or more group increased as economic status was going down. The high dietary variety score (DVS) also was linked to a high score on the DDS and high class (p<0.01). Thus the intakes of the dairy and fruits product should be increased in all classes. The low class especially had worse quality of food intakes pattern than that of the high or middle class. The nutrition policy and education programs need to be established according to the economic status.

Data from the 1998 Korean Health and Nutrition Survey were used. Using the poverty line based on the 1998 Korean minimum cost of living, Subjects (n = 10400) were classified into high class (36.1%), middle class (40.7%) and low class (23.1%). Chi-square-test and Analysis of Variance following Duncan's multiple range test were used to test the difference in nutrient intake pattern among three groups ($\alpha$ = 0.05). The amount of nutrient intake and nutrient intake adequacy were statistically different by the economic level (p<0.01). The ratio of energy intake from carbohydrate is higher than the criteria of WHO recommendation in all economic levels. Especially people in the low class depended much on the carbohydrate for the energy intake. The ratio of energy from the protein and fat are lower in the middle and low class than that of the high class. The Intake level of calcium and vitamin B$_2$ were lower than those of the Recommended Dietary intake level, regardless of economic status. It also showed differences in major food sources of nutrients by the economic level Consequently, it seems that the nutrition policy and program should be prepared according to their economic status. Also, there should more detailed studies to find out the nutrient intake pattern, their determinant, and health consequences.
