델파이법을 이용한 금융통장 정보 인식용 광학필터 결정인자 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selecting Determine Factors of Optical Filter for Recognition Financial Account Using Delphi Method)

  • In this paper, we have researched semiconductor optical filters to solve the problem of the high failure rate that are recognize bad of financial account, jam of financial account and the ATM service interruption due to failure of accurate location information among the operation of the ATM (automatic teller machine) systems. A semiconductor optical filters that have high resolution and less diffuse, high transmittance are able to detect the information of financial account surface accurately. Therefore, it is a stable filter that is able to minimize the incidence of disability. In this paper, we drew the determinants by element for implement an excellent semiconductor optical filters. Based on this, we had to be able to implement the semiconductor optical filter that is able to be mounted on the actual ATM system through future studies.

GNSS 부분 음영 지역에서 마할라노비스 거리를 이용한 GNSS/다중 IMU 센서 기반 측위 알고리즘 (GNSS/Multiple IMUs Based Navigation Strategy Using the Mahalanobis Distance in Partially GNSS-denied Environments)

  • The existing studies on the localization in the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) denied environment usually exploit low-cost MEMS IMU (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems Inertial Measurement Unit) sensors to replace the GNSS signals. However, the navigation system still requires GNSS signals for the normal environment. This paper presents an integrated GNSS/INS (Inertial Navigation System) navigation system which combines GNSS and multiple IMU sensors using extended Kalman filter in partially GNSS-denied environments. The position and velocity of the INS and GNSS are used as the inputs to the integrated navigation system. The Mahalanobis distance is used for novelty detection to detect the outlier of GNSS measurements. When the abnormality is detected in GNSS signals, GNSS data is excluded from the fusion process. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated using MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve a higher degree of positioning accuracy in the partially GNSS-denied environment.

Implementation of Vehicle Navigation System using GNSS, INS, Odometer and Barometer

  • In this study, a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) / Inertial Navigation System (INS) / odometer / barometer integrated navigation system that uses a commercial navigation device including Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) accelerometer and gyroscope in addition to GNSS, odometer information obtained from a vehicle, and a separate MEMS barometer sensor was implemented, and the performance was verified. In the case of GNSS and GNSS/INS integrated navigation system that are generally used in a navigation device, the performance would deteriorate in areas where GNSS signals are not available. Therefore, an integrated navigation system that calculates a better navigation solution in areas where GNSS signals are not available compared to general GNSS/INS by correcting the velocity error of GNSS/INS using an odometer and by correcting the cumulative altitude error of GNSS/INS using a barometer was suggested. To verify the performance of the navigation system, a commercial navigation device (Softman, Hyundai Mnsoft, http://www.hyundai-mnsoft.com) and a barometer sensor (ST Company) were installed at a vehicle, and an actual driving test was performed. To examine the performance of the algorithm, the navigation solutions of general GNSS/INS and the GNSS/INS/odometer/barometer integrated navigation system were compared in an area where GNSS signals are not available. As a result, a navigation solution that has a smaller position error than that of GNSS/INS could be obtained in the area where GNSS signals are not available.

  • 바이오포토닉스는 생물학과 포토닉스의 융합학문으로 특히, 최근 바이오이미징기술, 광바이오센서, 광조절 및 바이오칩의 광학센서시스템 및 광학집게 개발등에 큰 관심을 받고 있고 다양한 융합연구를 창출하고 있다. 미세기전시스템(MEMS: Microelectromechancial system)은 센서나 구동기를 초소형화 하기 위해 매우 유용한 기술로서 지난 10여년간 광통신분야에서 미세광학소자 및 집적광통신 반도체소자개발에 응용되어왔다. 최근 이러한 MEMS 기술을 이용하여 고감도 바이오센서나 고분해능, 실시간 바이오 이미징시스템을 초소형하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 바이오포토닉스 응용을 위한 광학소자의 초소형화 기술의 장점과 응용가능분야에 관해 소개하고자 한다.

TiO2/GOD 혼합물 기반의 글루코스 바이오 센서의 제작과 표면 처리를 통한 감도개선 (Fabrication and Improved Sensitivity with Surface Treatment of TiO2/GOD Mixture based Glucose Biosensor)

  • In this paper, the $TiO_2$/glucose oxidase (GOD) mixture has synthesized through simple and low-cost fabrication methods. The physical properties of the mixture were proved using an FT-IR/NIR spectrometer, an X-Ray diffractometer, and a Raman spectrometer. GOD maintained its bioactivity during all fabrication process. The current characteristics of the glucose biosensor were proportional to the glucose concentration and effective surface area of square pyramid on a silicon substrate. The maximum current change was measured in a pH 7.0 buffer solution. The simple and low-cost fabrication process and surface treatment can be used widely in previous research for improvements in effective surface area.

Polyimide Film을 이용한 일체형 탐침 패드의 제작 (Fabrication of Single Body Probe Pad using Polyimide Film)

  • MEMS(Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) 기술과 니켈 전기도금공정을 이용하여 수십 내지 수백개의 탐침을 갖는 일체형 탐침 패드(Probe Pad)를 제작하였다. PI(Polyimide) Film은 일본 UBE사의 $50{\mu}m$ 두께를 갖는 유피렉스를 사용하였다. 일체형 탐침 패드는 Polyimide Film에 Cu를 증착 후 사진식각공정을 통하여 PR Mold 형성한 후 전류가 흐르는 Cu 라인(line) 배선을 형성하기 위해 Cu를 식각하였으며 형성된 Cu Line 위에 니켈 전해도금공정을 실시하여 니켈 배선을 형성하였다. Ni 배선 위에 니켈 범프를 형성하기 위하여 PR Strip을 실시한 후 다시 PR Mold를 형성하였다. PR Mold 형성 후 다시 니켈 전해도 금을 실시하여 니켈 범프(bump)를 형성하였다. 제작된 탐침패드의 니켈배선의 폭은 $18.0{\mu}m$이고 피치(Pitch)는 $35{\mu}m$이며, 니켈 범프의 두께(Thickness)는 $10.0{\mu}m$로 제작되었다. 본 연구에서 제작된 탐침패드를 더욱 더 고집적화(Fine Pitch)하여 일체형 탐침 패드를 제작하게 되면 이를 사용하는 프로브유니트의 제작에 있어서 비용 절감 및 생산성(Throughput)을 크게 향상 시킬 수 있을 것이다.

글루코오스 농도 측정을 위한 볼로미터 타입의 적외선 센서 제작 (The fabrication of bolometric IR detector for glucose concentration detection)

  • A vanadium pentoxide ($V_2O_5$)-based bolometric infrared (IR) sensor has been designed and fabricated using micro electro mechanical systems (MEMS) technology for glucose detection and its resistive characteristics has been illustrated. The proposed bolometric infrared sensor is composed of the vanadium pentoxide array that shows superior temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and standard silicon micromachining compatibility. In order to achieve the best performance, deposited $V_2O_5$ thin film is optimized by adequate rapid thermal annealing (RTA) process. Annealed vanadium oxide thin film has demonstrated a linear characteristic and relatively high TCR value (${-4}%/^{\circ}C$). The resistance of vanadium oxide is changed by IR intensity based on glucose concentration.

  • 현재 전기 . 전자 기술의 추세는 소형화를 비롯하여 집적화, 저전력화, 저가격화의 장점을 가진 MEMS(Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) device의 개발에 주력하고 있으며, 이를 위해서는 고종횡비와 높은 식각 속도를 가진 HDP(High Density Plasma) etching 기술 개발이 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 우리는 Inductively Coupled Plasma(ICP) 장비를 이용하여 각 공정 변수에 의한 실리콘 deep trench식각 반응을 연구하였다. 실험 공정 변수인 platen power, etch/passivation cycle time에서 etching 단계 시간에 따른 변화와 SF$_{6}$:C$_4$F$_{8}$ 가스유량을 변화시켜 연구하였으며 또한 이들의 profile, scallops, 식각 속도, 균일도, 선택비도 관찰하였다.

  • Optical coherence tomography(OCT) is a noninvasive optical imaging tool for biomedical applications. OCT can provide depth resolved two/three dimensional morphological images on biological samples. In this paper, we integrated an OCT system that was composed of an SLED(Superluminescent Light Emitting Diode, ${\lambda}_0$=1305 nm bandwith= 141 nm), a reference arm adopting a rapid scanning optical delay line(RSOD) to get high speed imaging, and a sample arm that used a micro electro mechanical systems(MEMS) scanning mirror. The sample arm contained a compact probe for imaging dental structures. The performance of the system was evaluated by imaging in-vivo human teeth with dental calculus, and the results indicated distinct appearance of dental calculus from enamel, gum or decayed teeth. The developed probe and system could successfully confirm the presence of dental calculus with a very high spatial resolution($6{\mu}m$).

  • A low loss radio frequency(RF) micro electro mechanical systems(MEMS) switch driven by a low actuation voltage was designed for the development of a new RF MEMS switch. The RF MEMS switch should be encapsulated. The glass cap and fabricated RF MEMS switch were assembled by the Au/Sn eutectic bonding principle for wafer-level packaging. The through-vias on the glass substrate was made by the glass dry etching and Au electroplating process. The packaged RF MEMS switch had an actuation voltage of 12.5 V, an insertion loss below 0.25 dB, a return loss above 16.6 dB, and an isolation value above 41.4 dB at 6 GHz.
