Certain observations about formal Dirichlet series whose coefficients are arithmetic functions are made. These include for example algebraic independence and representation as infinite series of logarithms.

A positive definite Hermitian lattice is said to be 2-universal if it represents all positive definite binary Hermitian lattices. We find some finiteness theorems which ensure 2-universality of Hermitian lattices over several imaginary quadratic number fields.

군(群)의 표현론(表現論)은 유한군(有限群)의 성질구명(性質究明)에 많이 이용(利用)되여진다. 이 글에서도 어떤 조건하(條件下)에서 p-Sylow 군(群) $S_p$가 order p을 갖는 두 개의 순회군(巡回群)의 곱으로 분해(分解)됨을 표현론(表現論)에 의하여 증명(證明)을 시도(試圖)한다(본문(本文) Thorem 7).

We give the representation of Fibonacci quaternions for convenient calculus. We research the corresponding properties of Fibonacci quaternions and some examples of a function with values in modified Fibonacci quaternions.

We introduce formal symbols of product type and of minimum type and show that the formal power series representation for $e^p$ is a formal symbol of product type, where p is a formal symbol of minimum type.

As an application of Clifford theory, we are interested in a situation in which every irreducible projective character of a finite group G is an induced character of an irreducible linear character of some subgroup H of G. For this purpose, we study relative projective monomial groups with respect to subgroups.

Truncated Hankel operators are compressions of classical Hankel operators to model spaces. In this paper we describe matrix representations of truncated Hankel operators on finite-dimensional model spaces. We then show that the obtained descriptions hold also for some infinite-dimensional cases.

The matrix representation of the Toeplitz operator on the Hardy space with respect to a generalized orthonormal basis for the space of square integrable functions associated to a bounded simply connected region in the complex plane is completely computed in terms of only the Szegő kernel and the Garabedian kernels.
